Love all the looks and products in the store and well designed however the sales associates are the worst! I had to ask for help, the female walked off and the male associate acted irritated. They were not doing anything but talking.

Ordered a gift online for curbside pickup. I selected online that I needed a gift receipt. When I received it, there was no gift receipt. The clerk was extremely rude when I asked for it and told me it wasn’t possible because it was an online order. I told her I needed it since was a gift. She huffed and puffed and gave me a piece paper that she said “should work.”Pretty poor service for a store that sells premier products.

I will shop WE online, but not in person at this particular store. I was greeted when I stepped in. I browsed for about 10 minutes, finding a candle. I stood at the checkout counter for about 10 more minutes, right as I had decided to step away, a sales associate appeared. He was not apologetic & continued a conversation on his walkie. I am guessing that I am becoming too old school as years pass. This store is just not for me. I appreciate being acknowledged & not like an after-thought. Kill the walkies, require employees to talkie.

The customer service sucks at this store. I was trying to buy a side table and there were two guys working. They acted like they were put out by getting a side table down. As he did this he promptly informed me they were closing in 5 mins. You also have to pay for shipping on an item that is being ordered in the store. I left the table and will be shopping online from now on

This place is pretty chic and a lot of the furniture seems to be well made or at least better made than big box furniture stores. A little pricey but the quality at least makes up for some of it.

I love the LOOK of the furniture at West Elm. However, after owning the Graham glider/ottoman and Henry couch for about three years, I am so disappointed at how poorly the furniture is holding up. I take care of my furniture and there are no children in my home, so wear and tear is minimal. I have attempted contacting West Elm and they state there is no recourse and refuse to help further. I will not shop here again, and cannot recommend buying their furniture at this price point with the lack of quality.

This was my first (and last) experience with this place, tried to purchase a gift card by phone, was told (for certain) what date I would receive it. Four days later I am still waiting. Called to cancel it, will have to wait at least a week, or more to receive a credit.Learned my lesson.

West Elm has the best quality and nifty, trendy decor. The staff here rocks and is super helpful, knowledgeable and personable. I usually order online, but the in-store experience will bring me back just to browse (which always leads to finding a treasure I cant live without). If I was getting married or having another kid, I would be sure to register with them! I have a birthday registry now!

Super nice store filled with quality merchandise. I love West Elm, but the sales associate was less than helpful. After asking if a specific item was in stock, she went to the counter to have a personal conversation with another sales associate then when another customer walked up to the counter she proceeded to help them as if my question was of little importance. Will not visit this store again, will continue to buy online.

Store and products are great....IF you dont have something delivered. Ordered a chair....West Elm called to say the chair was ready for delivery..less than a week after the order was placed. Got a call from the company contracted to deliver the piece shortly thereafter.. Chair was ready....delivery date set for 1 month later. There was no negotiation DESPITE efforts from several people who felt the delay had to be wrong. Did I say Im not alone in this complaint. Ill end there.

I stood at the check out counter for a few minutes while three store attendents stared at my/tried to pretend I wasnt there before someone finally asked if I needed something. I had actually been in the store for about ten minutes and no one approached me to see if I needed help. I should have left after that, but I really wanted an outdoor table they had on sale. I bought it, but didnt realize I was taking the display table and not one in a box. I was surprised that no one offered to help me carry it to my car--a standard practice in furniture stores--especially because the table top was a cement slab. I wasnt able to fit the table in my car--I had planned on having it boxed up, which would have fit--so I returned inside to ask for help. I got stared at for a second time, finally the person that checked me out asked me if I needed help after a few minutes of awkward staring and being ignored. I explained my situation and they hesitated like this had never happened before. Then they went to find a wrench to disassemble the table (that took about 5 minutes) and sent me outside with a sales person. We tried to put it in the car again. She watched as I struggled to carry the table to the car, only helping me carry it when I asked. It still didnt fit. I began to disassemble it (she tried but wasnt making any progress) and she called a different sales rep, a guy, to come help me. He arrived on the scene several minutes later talking about how he was sorry, that it was so busy, they were short staffed so rather than stress him out I sent him back inside. I disassembled it, fit it in my car, and drove off. I felt embarrassed and angry that I had actually spent my money at a store that offered me zero customer service. I contemplated returning it when the salesperson watched me struggle to carry it, but I actually liked the table so I pressed on. You think youd treat a customer differently when they spend $200 in your store, but I guess not. If this were a restaurant my meal would have been comp-ed. I dont plan on returning to this store or shopping online, definitely not worth it.

I ordered the king Belgium linen bedding set less than a year ago and the elastic blew out already. I didnt over wash them and wasnt hard on them. Paying $500 for the whole set for them to say they cant exchange just the fitted sheet not even a year later is absolutely ridiculous. Needless to say that will be my last west elm purchase.
