I rarely write a review but Eddies Import has indeed the best service for Volkswagen Repair in town. Both Eddie and Justin are super helpful.For any German car repair - this is the place to-go in town if you are looking to save some money!

I originally took my car to the VW dealership for a thunking when I would brake. They couldnt find the thunking noise but claimed my car needed nearly $3,800 worth of repairs to things that I was having no issues with. I picked up my car and took it to Eddies for a second opinion. Eddies found the thunking noise, which ended up just being loose items in the spare tire compartment, they tightened everything down and the problem was completely resolved! The only thing my car ended up actually needing was new spark plugs. Eddies was wonderful! They were friendly, respectful, and kept me well informed about my vehicle. Ill never take my VW anywhere else!

Eddie hasnt got one of those drudge personalities he engages you let me look over his shoulder he had suggestions to improve my situation based on his experience. Has had both knees replaces an bounces like a new man. I thought to myself that he would have made a good surgeon because there wouldnt be a lot of humming and hawing on where or when to make the incision.

I paid 100 to get a car back not running that was running when I dropped it off...I asked them to check it out..they did all right. Literally?

Great people, service and pricing.

The friendliest guys who told me taking the EGR off the car would improve fuel economy. When the plastic piece they replaced the EGR with cracked a few months later in the hot summer sun. When I informed them of the issue friendly Eddie said and I quote “yea that was the part I was saying we were going to have to change. But I know how to fix it and it’s only $1,000.” I totally get dreams and reality can be confusing but in the mechanical world it’s important to know the difference.

Multiple attempts were required to correct the misfire on my 2015 VW GTI. A mechanic should troubleshoot before replacing parts and confirm its repaired before returning car to customer. They had extremely poor communication. I called once every day or two for an update and they never returned a single call. Im incredibly disappointed with the quality of the repair, service, and communication.They may do great tune-up work and/or older VW stuff. I dont recommend them for newer troubleshooting or diagnostic work.

I had a common issue on my Passat that was fixed by Eddie reprogramming the transmission to shift better and also a vacuum leak that was causing the car to run rough. He helped me identify the leak and fixed my transmission issue, altogether took about five minutes of his time, and he didnt charge me for his time! Hes a great guy. Very knowledgeable. If you have a VW, take it to this guy. He will do you right!

I have a 1964 11 window microbus, a 74 Superbeetle with an Autostick transmission, and a1962 Beetle convertible, and have been trusting Eddie’s Imports for more than 10 years. Eddie and his folks have always been professional, responsive, and have the expertise and experience to maintain and build my high performance air-cooled VW show cars, as well as some that you may see on TV. Over the years, others have told me that they could do the job because “VW’s are simple and anyone can work on them”, but invariably each time I’ve had to take them back to Eddie’s to be sorted out afterwards. So, I highly recommend that you take any of your cars to Eddie’s Imports.

Good work fair prices what more could you ask for

On a road-trip my Eurovan lost power and after limping into town Eddie correctly diagnosed the problem as a plugged catalytic converter, and pointed me to a local muffler shop that got me on the road again. Really nice guys there!
