I took my truck in there to get my clutch replaced on my 1992 GMC Sierra. They told me 2 days later it was indeed the clutch which is great. Little over priced for $500 worth of parts. Bad news is while my truck was there looks like they jacked my ignition up won’t even turn. My ignition worked great before I took it in. Scott is great to work with I would advise a different shop. Maybe one that is reasonable and will return your vehicle with the same or less problems then before.

1st. Time using AAMCO. Terry was courteous & professional to work with from initial call through payment. The issue was quickly diagnosed & repaired the next morning. I will use them again.

Aramco is a reliable company overall. However, this location kept my car for 4 days while neglecting to call me and keep tabs. I made the initial call to see what would be a good time to bring my car in and told them what the diagnostic machine at auto zone said. So I took off work the next day and brought it in when they opened. Called around 1:30 pm to see where they were at with it. They said they hadnt started on it yet. No one could be bothered to call me and say, hey, we are gonna have to keep your car for a few days, therefore you might want to make arrangements. No one there took it into consideration that I would be without a car for a total of 4 days. And I had to make every single call to get updated. Very frustrating when I was on the 2nd week of a new job.

Months later and two return trips back to get fixed car STILL not done. Car literally has been there longer than in my driveway, but somehow it has to wait for other cars to get done. Have seen it sit in the same parking spot at least two weeks smh. Hopefully one day my 16 y/o will get his first car back and even get to drive it.

Took my 98 F-150 to fix a/c. They worked on truck as fast as they could and did a awesome job. They listen to what the customer has to say and use there knowledge to fix the problem right the first time. The team there was excellent and I would tell everyone I can about AAMCO.

Very reasonably priced! The OOR Nissan dealership was wanting to charge me over $700 dollars for everything this AAMCO did for me. Everything, rotor, brake pads, and seal casing tightening, all for under $230 dollars. Very professional and considerate of my time. Will return again soon if my car needs further service!

I took my car to one of your locations to have engine work done. I paid for the service and the mechanic could not complete the job. The mechanic threw in the towel, told me something was wrong with my motor, i had a second opinion and he found nothing else wrong with it, but the one thing i needed fixed.

As a young woman with no prior knowledge of vehicle repair, Im always so uneasy taking my vehicle to a shop and potentially being taken advantage of. Sam took his time explaining the mechanisms to me and making sure I was totally informed on what repairs I need and why exactly I needed them. The diagnosis took half an hour. When I got my vehicle back the very next day it was clear to me that the techs took care not to drag mud or debris into my floor boards. I had a great experience here and would absolutely recommend.

I had my transmission fixed here. They did did an excellent job. They worked with me on the finances. I am very pleased with the professionalism, and the service that I received. When I have any other repairs that I need done I will take my car there. I recommend them to anyone!

They did the diagnosis for free. Sam was very informative & he helped me get setup with the financing for my repairs. The price for my rebuilt transmission was within my budget. This AAMCO location is on point just as much as their Norman store. The manager Sam was beyond professional and explained in detail what steps on my break system had already been done and what we were waiting for. He never quoted me an outrageous time and had me on the road with new break pads, rotors, fluid flush and stabilizer mounts. Not a good experience, took my vehicle there for repairs, spend $3400, a lot work. Check engine light is still on. Most disturbing, they forgot to reconnect wire harness to the motor cooling fan and I just found that they didnt place nuts on the bolts to the motor mount cover that was replaced. Will not be back.

So I Just left a review for Norman Aamco. Do not go to that one. As of right now this Aamco has been awesome. They are fixing my car. Told me it would take a while to get it looked at wasnt expecting a call till the next morning but 3 hours after they received my car I got an update and already knew what was wrong with my car but still really nice to hear from them regarding my car. So far they have been really helpful and I am so grateful for the help they are offering. As of right now I do not have my car back yet but I will update as soon as I do get it back and say how well my car is running.Got my car back last week. BEWARE!! They neglected to tell my I needed to replace my transmission oil cooler when I was replacing the transmission which lead to a very violate blow up in June. My family and I where stranded in TX for hours before figuring out how to get us home safely. After a month van was ready. 6 days later took in back in because it was leaking. Now I was told we needed a needed new oil cooler. He said he went ahead and replaced it no charge. Van still leaking took it back in four time. Every time was told they looked it over and its fine. Called Tuesday. Now a new manager. Sam was moved to a different store. Took it back in. Was told it needed a new oil cooler because the fluid was reading 250 degrees. I told them I was told it had already been replaced and they told me no, that Sam had in fact done nothing to my van the last two months. . I was told they will talk to Sam about this and said well we didnt charge you for the oil cooler so thats all the compensation you get. I would have payed to have that replace in the beginning. The blow up was scaring and Im lucky I didnt wreak. This took our whole summer from us and was lied to for two months. I reached out to corporate twice and was told the owner would call me. He never did. Just know that the warranty doesnt mean you. You are left on the side of the road to fend for yourself, and they can hold your car hostage for as long as they want and lie to your face about everything. The only comfort I can get out of all this is one day the will have to answer to the big man. Lying, cheating and taking advantage people just to make themselves more money. They should be ashamed.

Very disappointed! All these 5 stars just to show up to my appointment and have the manager tell me theyre behind on work and can not help me today, until after the weekend. So much for arriving 15 minutes early.

I was quoted (initially) $4500 for a repair my car needed. A few days later, I was quoted $4200, but after tax it would come up to $4600. This was AFTER I was told they knocked off $300 on the original quote (so, was supposed to be $4800). After I got a second quote that brought the price down to $3000, I wondered why I was quoted $4500 initially. When I informed Sam (the AAMCO representative I had been dealing with) that I was going to take my business elsewhere because the price was better, he said he could do it for $3000. My issue was that if he could do it for that much this whole time, why was he charging me so much more? I insisted that I was going to take it elsewhere and he slid my keys across the counter to me and said Just remember, you get what you pay for. in a very condescending tone. To which I thought, he just offered to do it for $3000, does that mean he was going to do a worse job because of it?After the tow truck arrived to move my car, he came to the parking lot and started giving a hard time to the Tow Truck driver. He was rushing him and being very stand-offish. The Tow Truck driver was just doing a job I paid him to do. He should not have been treated with such disrespect.Overall, I would not recommend using this place if you can help it. IF you do, at least make sure you get a second opinion and use that for negotiate yourself a better price.

Went in to get my car checked for an engine light hey had it back to me and running like new in two days. Price was reasonable too.

It is hard to find honest help at a reasonable price these days. I have a 2011 Ford F150 5.0 with 183,000 miles on it. I recently had my oil changed at a Take 5 Oil Change on Reno and Council near my work. At about 60 miles after the oil change, I lost oil pressure and the check engine light came on. Fearing the worst, I was able to get my truck to this AAMCO location and Richard took care of my vehicle for me. Long story short, the mechanic (Travis) identified that a faulty oil filter installed by Take 5 was the reason for the oil pressure loss. These symptoms could have easily accumulated a bill into the hundreds and/or thousands of dollars at a less honest place of business. I was able to get my issue resolved for less than $55.00 and get reimbursed for my oil change at Take 5 as well. Richard and Travis are great people that provide great customer service!

Sam is on point. Had my sons Juke towed to him for clutch repair. Parts/services were explained in full, including additional items that MAY be needed once they get it pulled apart. Repair work went exactly as described upon drop off. Great place to do business, and tough to beat a nationwide warranty on the services. Also, they will ask that you bring the vehicle back within 7-10 days so they can verify everythings performing like it should. Thats customer service, and many businesses have lost that. This is an easy 5 star review. My big thing is always customer service. Even if you make a mistake I can over look it if it is corrected. Talked with Sam who was professional and personalable back in November about getting the Transmission BG service for my Silverado. He quoted me a price. When I went to pickup my truck the price was diffrent. Unfortunately Sam was out sick so I waited and called a couple days later. Sam not only apologized but he also corrected the issue. His attention alone to customer service is the reason I brought my wifes car in for the same service. Every time I have called or gone in I have been greeted with professionalism. Sam takes his time to answer any questions you have. He doesnt rush you into anything and he makes sure to be detailed on what will be done. Both times I have taken my vehicles in . They have been returned same day. He may not he able to do that everytime but I can tell you that this location will do their best to make it happen.

We have used this AAMCO location twice this year. I love that they give you a free diagnosis whereas the local Ford dealer charges $115 regardless if you get your repairs done there. Jeremiah is great to work with and I feel he is an honest man. They will make some profit on the parts they install but do not rape you on labor fees. Bob Moore Ford told me our vehicle needed a new $4100 transmission and AAMCO found all it needed was a $400 4 wheel drive module. Big difference! They also recently worked on my sons Hyundai for some coolant leaks and it was about $350. Im sure the dealer would have been more like $500.

Was quoted 8 thousand dollar rebuild transmission replacement by Sam at this location. This is on 2011 Subaru and their transmissions are pretty expensive. However took to dealership after this and was quoted 1250 for valve body replacement Immediately fixed our transmission issues. Do not feel like Aamco took the appropriate amount of time to evaluate the issue and am not sure I would have gotten a rebuilt transmission at all. Just would have paid for it.

I was totally lied to, my son had his transmission rebuilt and I helped him with the finacing. I talked to Sam myself in person with my son and we asked how much it would cost he told us at most 2600 depending on what parts were needed but more than likely around 2000 I was approved . He never called and told the additional parts that would be needed ( like he said he would) .I was told it would be around 200 a month. Now Im being charged twice that much because he sent in the paper work incorrectly! Now no one wants to correct the problem. Finance company blames it on Amcco and Amcco straight up lied and said thats what he told us!! I would have never agreed to 400 a month because I now my son could not afford that!!! It was suppose to 190.69 a month and I am bringing charged that each paycheck!! I didnt even sign the agreement, it was sent in by Amcco they electrically signed my name!!!

Took my car here and was told with a ecm issue it would take a couple of weeks. Had to keep calling to get any answers or updates on my vehicle and it took a month to get my vehicle back due to errors and shipping. Ended up losing my job bc of no giving date of completion and lack of communication from the staff on hand.

They honor their warranty on transmission repairs. They took the time and worked on my car for free to fix a repair that wasn’t even a part of my warranty just because they missed the issue I was having.

We took our car in yesterday to have it repaired and should have been a simple fix but took all day and was told the vehicle was good to go and 15 minutes later the check engine light comes back on and its still doing the same thing and we took our car back first thing this morning to get it looked at, to see what went wrong and we are being blown off and told they havent had a chance to look at it yet, but its warranty work so Im sure its going to take forever again! They should of looked at it right away we came in as soon as they opened!! Not happy at all!!

Please read update at bottom .....We got our transmission fixed here for almost 4.000 bucks. Its still running. Got breaks fixed for 850.00 bucks. They squealed from the beginning. Sam said that was normal. Now they have worn out in less than year. They were life time breaks. We have tried to get the car on to fix like 5 times and they never can do it. Was also suppose to be ceramic brakes and they are not. Also very very rude when we try to find out any info. I would run far far away from Aamco and not get anything done. They do not stand behind there word. Just like getting the trans in there for check up. They never had time to do it. They suck big time!!! ( update ) its been a month since we contacted them about our brakes being standard and not lifetime . We had to replace the front rotors and brakes in less than a yr after paying aamco for ceraminc lifetime brakes. After a few emails and comunications they have yet to rectify this problem, not to mention the transmission we had rebuilt thru them is also failing . they van slips and pulls in first gear . its been less than a yr since we had it rebuilt at aamco. There warranty is a freaking joke!!! Do not go here bc you think if you pay a little bit more you get there so called gurantee or warranty . There warrenty is B.S. . dont fall for it. As I said now 2 things on 2 different occasions have failed less than a yr after being worked on at aamco. Run for your life bc there warrenty isnt worth the paper its wrote on ......they could have at the very least paid to have a shop of our choice at least verify the problems that aamco supposedly fixed . We paid and had a reliable mechanic verify about the brakes now were gona get the trans checked since it is slipping . Im sure i already know the answer . Avoid aamco at all costs...

I felt like i got taken honestly but since im no expert and i have to rely on aamco and there expertise while assisting me in getting multiple loans well at the end of it all almost 6 grand and a car note every month again to pay off loans lol i got an engine replacement. While sitting in drive it rattles and i told the guy this but he said sounds great and i didnt feel like he heard me... Well i mean he got his money so hey he dont gotta do nothin more than whats on the paperwork. Again i have no proof or anything saying i got taken honestly it was how i felt ignored mainly that has left a sour taste in my mouth... Do i have a running car yes .... So complaint done i guess lol.... Got a call from the district manager over the whole state for aamco.... He wanted to talk about my experience and why i felt the way i did. Afterwards waz told i should get a call the following monday or tuesday to bring it back in to have it looked at to address my concerns. Wellnever got that call and still month later still no call so yeah. They again act like they care but once u are off the phone or out of the office u become nothing more than a gump.... G.U.M.P. Jeremiah at AAMCO really took care of my truck. My transmission was all kinds of messed up when I brought it to them. They just kept on working on it, even when they could just cut corners to get me out of there faster, they didnt. They did the job right like my truck was their truck. Great place looking forward to dealing with them again if I have any more transmission issues.

The first time we took our vehicle here about 2 yrs ago, we had a noise in the driver side rear quarter section of the vehicle. We dropped off the vehicle, and they told us it was the tire jack and accessories. I said, b.s., and took the tire jack and accessories out, and it still made the noise as I suspected. So we dropped it back off (as it was the closest mechanic approved by our warranty company which still wasnt that close). They still couldnt find the issue, and did some minor work, and inevitably after breaking down in the middle of an intersection whereas the vehicle locked up, I had to sit in the middle of the intersection and wait for a tow truck for over a half hour. At which point, they finally were able to literally see the problem with the caliper/rotor area, and STILL I had to finally go to Firestone and pay out of pocket for the service on our vehicle, because Aamco never fixed it correctly. The issues never got better....only worse. I hear that they have replaced one or more mechanics since then, and I certainly hope so, for I have absolutely no desire to deal with Aamco ever again, unless something turns around greatly and likely not w/out compensation for the past. I mean it was a living nightmare dealing with this facility. Including when they left our hood slightly and unnoticeably open, and it nearly blew off while driving down the interstate. If I were a litigious person, this company would be first on my list. Fortunately, being Christian, I pray God will handle these situations rather than constantly working to sue people. Oh, and we literally did a voluntary repo on our vehicle today, because we were so afraid that we would have to go back to Aamco for further repairs. And I liked my Ford Edge, but when you cant get good mechanic work through a warranty/mechanic combo, well, I guess we just chose not to fight that battle one more time.
