Had wonderful time shopping for my daughter here. The guy that help me was amazing.

My granddaughter bought some cute bracelets and earrings that she just loved.

Wonderful staff. Always so helpful. I forgot to bring my mask with me and they were nice enough to give me one before entering the store. I love this store and atmosphere the staff bring. Would highly recommend.

Came in fully vaccinated for covid, was asked to put on a mask (very rudely with undeserved sass and attitude), so I did. But that is all the effort they put in to help us. The staff spent the rest of their time reading and complaining about reviews, specifically one about someones experience with a lazy cashier at this specific Hot topic. Ironic since you were all on your phones not doing your job, and not helping customers who wanted to buy things..I think that customer had the most accurate review of the Newgate Hot topic.

Very polite and friendly. Staff was always happy and willing to help out and answer questions.

Visited 04/05/21. I brought my wife in for a nose ring, since this is one of the few places to get one in person. This was mine and her first experience buying this type of product and a wonderful employee named James gave us the guidance and help we desperately needed.

The service was good and there were some cool things but it just isnt what it used to be...

Recently went with my kids, and I was wearing my Adventure Time mask. Ended up having the best fandom conversation with the manager. So fun. Always enjoy Hot Topic. Its the closest thing you can get to comic con during COVID. Really friendly employees at this location.

The white girl with rainbow hair kept looking at me while I was shopping?Girl it’s 2020 take your racial profiling somewhere else.. made me feel so uncomfortable you kept following me and my family around. Maybe get better staff who don’t racially profileShe was only helping the white people and not us she kept ignoring me if I had questions and it was so rudeThe other girl Erin was extremely nice though. I hope you either talk to her or fire her because we don’t need people like that today.

The girl at the register is super lazy, if you like waste your time while waiting for her to decide when she feels like doing her job, then I recommend you to go there.

Upon entering this store I was asked to put a mask on. So I complied and put one on. However this employee continued to harass us about it even after we complyed. While trying to shop she called us, ignorant and rude people. I just wanted to buy a couple of things instead I was accosted by what turned out to be the manager of this location. I was shocked to find such poor management skills and terrible costumer service from a manager. When I confronted her about her comments toward us she was rude again and then cowardly walked away. Hot Topic I will no longer be spending money with your establishment if this low bar of a human being is the best you can come up with for management.

Employees are so sweet and very helpful

I never knew that you get $5.00 for your birthday which is pretty cool. I love when they have stuff on clearance, which they do often. I really recommend checking out their make up. Blackheart cosmetics are pretty decent for the price and have awesome colors. Their eyeshadow palettes are definitely dependable and hold up. Just pop in when youre at the mall, they usually have some pretty sweet deals going on, and their employees are always helpful and friendly.

I was not there

Indifferent staff selling subpar merchandise. It used to be the only place I could find the rings I like for my ears. but the last few times Ive been in, not only have they either not had my styles in stock or they were cheap versions of what they used to have. The staff almost seem defeated. Guess Ill find somewhere else to buy earrings.

I had my sights set on a Mouse Rat t shirt, but the store was sold out. The employee checked the shirt hanging on the wall and it was just the size I needed. If there is a God, he/she was watching over me that day in assisting with putting that shirt into my life. To the employee, thank you. Your good deed did not go unnoticed. Mouse Rat rules.

Over priced

I love Hot Topic and the people that work there are so nice. I love the selection of items. The prices are wonderful.

Youre a nerd, geek, or just really into anime. This place has everything you want and cant afford. Youll tell yourself Im just going to buy one thing that I absolutely NEED then notice all their sales are BOGO and you cant just buy one thing. They know. They are watching.

It’s just not worth doing the ship to store option to this location. Unlike other stores where you can pick up your order when it’s been delivered.I was lied to about my order not being delivered by an employee.Even after I told her I had the shipping notification, had to tell her repeatedly I opted for the free in store pickup.I was told she opened every single box and searched the back. According to her it definitely wasn’t there. Luckily after I called corporate the box containing it magically appeared out of thin air.Just not worth it have all orders shipped to you,

Compared to the Layton Hot Topic, this one is Amazing! There is more variety and it doesnt feel so cramped. Definitely my favorite!

Lots of cool fanbased things there, including harrypotter, riverdale, disney, pokemon and stranger things.

Very friendly staff. Big selection of Tees. They usually have a sale going on which is always nice. They even have anime products, which are hard to find unless you like shopping online.

The store does not allow much room for walking/browsing before getting in someones way. The wait to check out was so long, we gave up and left.
