Every place has a policies but also the law is the law and lets be fired not everyone is going to have a receipt when they have a return right? Every merchant can say that they need a receipt to do a return which is incorrect by law state book code this is not what has to be so cute receipt most places argue in store credit which some places you just cant use in store credit but this is all the higher-ups out of the blue thinking a little disappointed in this because not everyone is doing the greatest right now with covid some of us live in and out of a vehicle who knows but one brother to another sister in the world we live in Utah is a very judgmental state they are not too bad as far as products go

I miss Hastings, but this place is just as good! They have a cool selection, and their prices are great!! I bought a game for my Wii U, and it wouldnt read because it was scratched. They were will to help with cleaning it, and were great in letting me exchange it.I had noticed it before, but never had gone in. The moment I walked in, I knew that it would be a problem.... I spend too much money there 🙃. Great place

Great selection of current and retro games. Every thing from the PS2 to the N64. Lots of movies and books to choose from. The Xbox one section is a little small but its not a deal breaker. They charge $3 to resurface disks which is nice if you need that service. Everything is priced around how much it would cost to buy online or just a bit cheaper. They have a buy 2 get 1 mix and match sale every holiday so thats the best time to go if youre going to make a large purchase of used items.

I really like this place. A little nostalgic throwback to my youth. Cool hobby stuff, toys, books, old school video games, sports cards and movie rentals. If youre looking for somewhere interesting to go, kill a couple of hours out of the heat inside checking out their stuff.

I always come here with my boyfriend. It’s one of our comfort spots. Even though it has a new name it’s the same store which I appreciate. We love their spiced chai frappes with almond milk. They also now have “fiz” drinks for kids. I’ve also gotten Tarot/Oracle decks and lots of amazing spiritual books along with good cheap pre-owned books. My man comes here for the manga section and it’s huge here.

Go for the Cafe. Really good Breve. Way better than star bucks. Also the staff that made my breve was really friendly. She also knew her trade well. Good job. Ill be coming back regularly.

Truly deserves 5 stars, the store has always been one of my favorite places to visit. However, everything about the store is pleasant except if youre trying to buy cards. The staff seems to be very attentive to everything else except the card area. It can lead to a frustrating experience.

I love this place!! Ive been able to get the majority of movies from the 80s and 90s. And if they dont have what Im looking for, the staff looks it up from there other stores, finds it and I can have it sent to there store for an affordable price. Its really a throwback kind of store which I truly enjoy. 🥰

Went To Entertain mart bought 16 Cd. Went Home And Opened Them up. Found That Two Of The Cd’s One Of The Cd’s Had A DVD in it. The other one was to be pat Benatar and it was Richard marx. That is why I give them two stars. They should be checking the used cd’s a lot better then they are doing.

Great shop for books, comics, games, and entertainment memorabilia. The missus wouldnt let me get a Tanooki Mario plushie. Apparently our toddler has enough plushies.

I could spend hours just looking around, they have a great collection, great prices, and a great cafe area.

Lots of good media, used and new. Just be aware the new stuff is always priced high and you can usually find it ANYWHERE else for a lower price.

Very extensive collection of DVD and Blu-ray movies, books, comics, and related toys. Lots of new and used stuff. Some used items, though usually in great condition, are priced similar to new items.

I really enjoy this store. They have so many things to choose from. The reason I give it only 2 stars is for a couple of reasons. First, they have terrible hours. When they get close to closing, they announce that they are closing EVERY 5 MINUTES in the last 30 minutes that they are open. When I’ve tried checking out the cards, they wouldn’t help me because the closing announcements were more important. Second, their website is not user friendly. When they have online sales, it is impossible to find anything used and be able to checkout. I would love to shop here more if their hours and customer service was more accessible.

Its about time we got another store with vintage games and stuff. You actually get to SEE and HANDLE what youre looking for.

We shop here quit often. They have a better selection of used Nintendo DS games than anywhere else I have seen. They usually have promotions for used stuff which makes the prices more reasonable. The store has a ton of fun stuff for adults and kids alike. I think they could do a little better at hiding inappropriate material from where kids would likely see them. I have been trying for over a year to find a handheld thing for guitar hero on the ds and they never have them, but they always have the games.

Good selection of just about everything you could want however when it comes to video game disks they’re has been more than a couple times where the disk was dirty, scratched, or even unplayable. It’s like they don’t even check half the time, but they do have a 30 day return policy. Also there’s always some sort of sale going on so you never really have anything to lose

I like this place. I like the items they carry. Even if you dont buy anything its fun to just browse.NEGATIVES: Depending on who you get, customer service can be... Unfulfilling to say the least. Much better customer service, at least more consistent, when it was the old company.As a small business owner and as a customer I cannot emphasize enough the poor customer service example it is and how off putting it is that a person is reminded over and over that its close to closing time by the staff. I understand that employees are tired and just want to go home at the end of the shift. But... Its not about YOU! Its about the customer who is going to spend money in your establishment. So, go ahead and lock the entrance door at closing but take care of the customers that are in the store and dont push them out just so you can go home on time. You might be open for 10 to 15 minutes more but that goes a long way to show customers that you actually care about servicing them. And you get their money, the entire point of commerce.Those customers that you rushed out of the store will go right next door to Walmart and give them their money for the same item they were looking for at your store but you lost business and future business just so you can close in time. I dont get it.

Amazing store gots everything I can ask for

While physical media may seem to be dying, Entertainmart stands strong with a large and eclectic collection of media. The staff a first glance may seem a bit stressed - they have so much going on all the time - but if you take a moment to talk with them you will find they have a passion for what they sell. As a film buff I always find myself coming back to browse many rows of movies.

I love the selections here but the employees make it an unpleasant experience. I have been caught in between at least 2 employee fights while trying to check out.

This is a buy, sell, trade kind of a place. I dont often visit these kinds of stores so I dont really feel qualified to provide a rating. Its a big store and its seems like they have a lot of inventory. They sell video games, books, movies, boardgames, collectible card games, toys and other odds and ends. I come in and browse maybe once a year. Ive never purchased anything. The store feels a bit tatty- it used to be a Hastings and now the building feels like its stuck in a perpetual state of transition, like they never finished remodeling from the old store to the new store.If you buy a lot of entertainment media or pop culture doodads this store is probably worth checking out. Otherwise I cant really think of any reason why you would need to come here.

Best selection in Northern utah for vintage, new, and used movies, video games, music, books/comic, toys, tabletop gaming, collectibles gifts, on every platform imaginable. Staff is usually always helpful and friendly and pretty much everything is faily priced. They have plenty of space for tabletop gaming and hold MTG and yu gi oh events regularly. Dont forget to stop in the hardback Cafe and get a delicious specialty coffee drink while you game or browse!

Seems a bit over priced for used things and both trade-in value and cash its really really low. Like its bad. But theyve got reasonable prices on sealed Pkmn, MtG and YGO.

They have a decent selection of things and that’s the only reason I’m giving 2 stars. The customer service is some of the worst I’ve seen. They don’t honor their sales and only give coupons to some people... even if you have the coupon with you. I’ll be going somewhere else next time. It’s unfortunate they replaced Hastings.

Wanted 750 for a ps5 and you had to buy 2 games and a controller. They said the were trying to make it so people couldnt buy one and sale it for more. When in reality its exactly what they were doing. I used to love this store but now Ill never go back to it

This is a fantastic store! They have so much to look at. You can really got lost looking into the movie isles, they have so many classic movies, from the Bee Movie all the way to 50 shades of grey theyve got it all.Also excellent customer service, very helpful associates.

It made feel like I was back to glory days of rent & buying movies/games. I dont live next to town but love these type of store and I hope it stays there for along and never shut down. I really love the employee that help me buying a mech kit figure for my brother birthday gift. I would 100% would live next to that place, and thank you for all the options.

Selling a ps5 for 750 dollars you have to buy 2, 60 dollar games and a contoller in order to buy it they are scalpers really disappointing

Playstation 5 about $200 over retail value plus you got to buy two of their games and a controller. in my view this is his desperate and is dirty as the people who are buying and selling them for double on the street. either sell it or dont but dont calm me into buying three other of your products and paying almost another 1000 just to get it

Great business, they have the best disc cleaner in town and its only $3 to get it cleaned. As well as they have a great selection and helpful staff, since Hastings went out of business in this location, I dont think a better company could have taken its place! Will always choose these guys when I need to find something specific.

Best place to buy movies

Hey everyone this store has a ps5 if you want one. Just know that a ps5 is worth $500 and this store is selling it for $750. They also want to force you to buy a bundle that would cost $1000. They are selling a switch for $350 even though its only worth $300.

Nostalgia at its finest in this location. I love seeing all the comic books and posters. I love all the old school games and gaming equipment. I wish they sold PC stuff though and I wish they werent the highest priced for used equipment however I still shop there from time to time.

My girls and I can literally spend hours in this place. They have an awesome book section, which includes new and used books. They have an impressive movie section, blue-rays, DVDs, and yes... even some VHS tapes!! They have just about every genre of music you can think of, new and used, including K-Pop, which is VERY important to my youngest daughter (hits my pocket book a bit hard sometimes). Posters, games, gaming consoles, guitars, tee-shirts.... And my favorite part, an awesome coffee shop inside.

Ok i really love this store! I love that the contents range from before me to now. I love that i can geek out and the customer service people will help me. I love just browsing their wide selection and that my kids can enjoy so much memorabilia! I love that they run awesome sales and still keep everything neat and orderly. I really recommend this for a walk in the past, and an update to today. Books, videos, games, game systems and so much more!

This establishment was once the home of the chain entertainment store Hastings, but after Hastings closed, EntertainMART rescued the nerds of Ogden and continued providing all our entertainment needs. EntertainMART has been settled in for a few years now, and I feel like overall the feeling and atmosphere feels no different than when it was our beloved Hastings. Once you step in, you can just take a deep breath and realize right of the bat that you are in nerd heaven.Some of the most noteworthy improvements are that all DVDs are available to rent or purchase, so theres no confusion on which area is rental and which area is not, because its all the same.The manga & anime section has expanded and provides a plethora of genres. There always seems to be something new. The video game section is a maze worth delving into since it takes up a major portion of the store space. There is a mixture of used and new games and youll almost always find a good deal in there. They have a cabinet of rare and hard to find games that I always take a peak at (someday I will get Skies of Arcadia, I just know it!)Also worth exploring is their comics section, vinyl records, and their book section. There is also a small but mighty roleplaying shelf with campaigns for Dungeons and Dragons, Forgotten Realms and other roleplaying games.There is a small cafe just in case exploring the wondrous nooks and crannies leaves you feeling parched and weary. No good adventurer would waste an opportunity to take a short rest.Most - if not all - of the staff is so friendly. Ive had a handful of conversations with some where they always give me great suggestions on new movies, games or books to try out. Many of them are just as - if not more - passionate about whats being sold here and its great to interact with them.There really is so much offered here, I guarantee that if you are a fan of *anything*, you will find something to love here.As a regular customer, I do see small opportunities for improvement - the major one being the quality of signs. As someone who works in design, it irks me to see cluttered, low quality signs that look like they were designed with 2007 WordArt. With this space being such a cornucopia of so many things, Id love to see the signs meet the caliber and quality it needs to not only provide good information, but also to emphasize just how good this business is.
