I like the North gate diner the food is great I always go there for I have not went there for lunch what the service is good I have no complaints about Northgate diner I give it a 4 *
The food was delicious and the prices reasonably priced. I spent about 15 a person but that was because we all ate a lot. A normal meal would be less than 10 a person. The service was great. Friendly and helpful servers.
Had a hard time locating this place when you used to be on the other side of town. However, same great products and service as before. If you want more than you can eat for the dollar spent, look no further. On top of the food the service is always fast and correct. This place is the best we have found in 4 counties surrounding. This is the best, join us and the rest! Keep up the great work and we will be back!

Worth a detour. Was looking for lunch and saw the parking lot full of pickup trucks and knew it was going to be good. Full menu of breakfast and lunch favorites, but look for the daily specials. I had the beef tips with noodles - just like mama made them! Friendly, attentive staff. I will definitely try to get back soon!

First Impressions:We finally made it and its kind of sad to say because we literally live a couple of blocks from here lolAnyway, my husband and I ordered breakfast since we havent had any and I have to say that my 1st impression walking in was a very clean diner with very friendly staff. I love that they serve everybody coffee in a different mug like youre at someones cozy home. The coffee was really good and not burnt at all which in some diners happen to have cause is just sittin on the warmer.WHAT WE ORDERED:My husband ordered the eggs and country fried steak with gravy and hashbrowns. He says it was the most tender country fried steak hed eaten in a while at a restaurant and the gravy with sausage was real good.I ordered the eggs with corn beef hash and home fries. The corned beef hash was pretty good although they did over cook a little bit of it (crunchy) but it wasnt too terrible. The home fries were actually delicious perfectly crispy on the outside and real tender on the inside.We both ordered biscuits with our dishes and we have to say that unfortunately the biscuits were dried out at the bottom almost like they were sitting on hot plate too long but the inside was pretty moist; still its just a shame the bottom was pretty hard.We ordered a short stack to share but took it home we were so stuffed lol but after trying then their pancakes are really fluffy and moist.Over all, we enjoyed it and will be back! 🙃

Took my granddaughters for breakfast! We had an amazing visit. The food was hot and delicious. The staff was very courteous and fast.
Friendly waitress kept our coffee topped off and made sure we had all we needed to go along with breakfast.The restaurant was busy and everything was fresh and delicious.

Had a burger 🍔 and 🍟 fries. Bacon, swiss and drug thru the garden.It was a good, fresh, REAL hamburger patty. Crispy outer edges and cooked the way I like it. The bun held together well but for some reason it wasnt a bun I liked, thick and kinda dry. Maybe grilled toasty (more) and it would have been better.We asked for the fries to be well done (fat crinkle cuts) and they were not. Still, a good fry.Great service, good diner atmosphere, definitely a local go to spot.Prices were right where they should be.We will be back. I saw some plates coming out that looked really good.The dessert list was long and varied..but we skipped that.The burger is HUGE. ! :) !

The service was very good, the food was good all except the biscuit was nasty. It was huge and thats okay but it was not cooked in the middle. Everything else was fine. I thought maybe when I paid at the register someone would ask how the meal was. That didnt happen. I would probably go back again. I would give it a 3.5 if they had half Stars.

Ive eaten at Northgate diner since it opened. Im there quite often. Not because of the food it is average at best. Because of the location. I cant afford to keep eating there. Teresa keeps bringing me omelets with cheese. three times shes brought me omelets with cheese and four times Ive told her I dont eat cheese. Yet I had to pay for those omelets. she told me as she looked down at The omelette I complained that I couldnt eat that she remembered I told her that as she turned and walked off. Today I thought I would try tuna Melt sandwich. The waitress was very efficient and took my order of a tuna melt sandwich with no tomatoes no cheese and extra pickles please. Yet, I was served a tuna melt sandwich with the biggest juiciest tomatoes you have ever seen on it. A big thick pace of cheese and no pickles. I explained to the waitress I could not eat tomatoes raw and that I hated the taste of tomatoes. I could have obviously taken tomatoes off of the sandwich myself. But I didnt want the taste of tomatoes I hate it. she took it back to the kitchen they removed the tomatoes and sent it right back out in about 5 seconds. But Im not paying for that one. Although I did have to pay for my tea. And that will be the last glass of tea I drink there. Most of the other waitresses know exactly what I want when they see me coming.but the ones that dont I cant afford and I dont have the time for. No cheese, no tomatoes, and extra pickles please. I cant get it here.
Amazzzzing!!! I ate an everything bagel and some hash browns with a huge cup of coffee! There was also a guy sellin watermelons outside for a really good price he had seedless and with the seeds just how I like!!!

Waitress was nice, hood atmosphere but Im not impressed by the quality of food to the price. We spend over $50 on brunch for 2 adults and 2 kids. My 2 girls got pancakes and french toast with strawberries. The strawberries were obviously from a can and tasted terrible. My two year old didnt even eat her pancakes and instead ate my husbands mac and cheese which turned out to be the best thing that we ordered. Mine and my husband chicken sandwiches were tough and had more bread then anything else. The chicken was only half the size of the bread and had a texture as if it was frozen and heated up, not fresh. We love country home style restaurants but this one we left disappointed.

Great place thats everything a diner should be. Delicious food, friendly service & reasonable prices. Ive never gotten anything I didnt like but particularly recommend their biscuits and gravy, pancakes, Hamburgers & homemade soups. They also sell pints of local raw honey. Give them a try!
The waitress staff are rude and feel like its OK to make complaints and talk about customers loud enough for them to hear. Because the 25%+ tip you recieve when we come in is so horrible. And the fact that we practically bus our own table when arriving and leaving makes us horrible customers. Because your wait staff cant take a simple order of lightly buttered toast or well done scrambled eggs without an outburst of disgust from a fellow coworker and herself. I am so disappointed and upset with my experience here. My daughter has practically grown up with these people and we thought them family. I am beyond disgusted with the way Ive been treated recently and WILL NOT RECOMMEND OR RETURN.
