What awesome professional service. Our rv broke down and they had us back on the road within 2 hrs of receiving the part needed. I will highly recommend this company
They where at my location very fast, dispatch said 30 to 45 minutes, they arrived in 15. Fred was very professional and to the point, found a solution to the problem and was fast and efficient. Good price & Great service!
DO NOT call this company for assistance. My wife and I became stranded on I-75 1 mile from the Ocala exit on a bridge. Our fuel filter in our class A RV split in half. We called several places to locate a fuel filter but we had no way of going to actually pick up the new filter. We had the part number and located one. Freightliner gave us the number for P&S road service. I called to see if they could bring us the filter. I was told yes, we have a guy coming in, in 15 minutes. I gave the man the part number and was assured he would pick up the part and bring it to us as soon as he came in. An hour goes by, I call back to ask how things are coming along. I was told the guy is on another service call right now 30 miles away, as soon as he is finished, he’ll be right there. I thought he was just coming in, in 15 minutes an hour ago and would be right there? Ok, so we wait. An hour later I call once more to ask about the status. It is now rush hour. Again, I was told he is just finishing up another service call, he should be on his way in half an hour. Another hour goes by and finally the guy shows up, WITHOUT the fuel filter that we were told he would be bringing with him. The man leaves to go get the filter. He returned fairly quickly so he didn’t have to go far to get the filter. That alone makes me question why he didn’t bring it with him like we were told. I am a mechanic and told the service man I could put it in myself. The service man replied it would be the same price no matter who put the filter in so I allowed the service man to do it. Total time spent on our call approx. 20 minutes. Then he writes out the service bill.Parts $36.00, Service call $85.00, Labor $230.00. Now these figures add up to $351.00 yet he writes on the invoice a total of $375.57. However, it is late now and we still have to find a place to stop for the night. So I pay and we head on down the road again. The next morning we call P&S Road Service to try to work out a reasonable bill. My wife and I both spoke to Ernie. Ernie said he already did give us a break by only charging us 2 hours labor. Now yesterday we were told the man was on another call 2 hours before he came to us. Seems to me that would be double billing. Why were we charged for two hours labor? There was no communication during those hours other than when I called them for status updates. THERE WAS NO LABOR FOR THOSE HOURS! Ernie also claimed we were told what the fee would be before we agreed to have a man sent out. How could we agree to something that no one knew what the fee would be at the time of the phone call? I explained this to Ernie and his reply was “well, you signed the invoice so…” He also told us we could have called Uber. I don’t know of any Uber driver that is going to pick up a part and bring that part to someone sitting on the side of I-75 on a bridge. How rude!! I believe this is an outrageous fee for a task taking 20 minutes from arrival to exit. I’ll even give the amount of time it took to drive from the previous service call. 30 miles at 60mph comes out to 15 minutes. So total time spent on our call was 35 minutes. By these calculations the labor rate comes out to approx. $460.00 an hour! We are not people that try to get something for nothing. We realize that people go into business to make a profit, however, price gouging is not acceptable. We discussed with Ernie that we would be glad to pay for the part and service call fee along with a fair labor rate.Parts $36.00Service call $85.00Labor 35 minutes $80.00coming to a total of $201.00.DO NOT use this company. You will be overcharged and brushed off by a very rude, unprofessional owner. Ernie could have charged us a fair amount and had new customers that would spread a good word to the RV community. Instead he chose to price gouge and lose any future business he could have had. I’m sure P&S Road Service will respond to this with a “oh we’re sorry you are unhappy, blah, blah, blah.” However, if they are truly sorry they would refund us the $174.57 they overcharged us to begin with.
There are not enough Thanks for Chris and the rest of the Team at P & S Road Service in Ocala, Florida. P & S went above and beyond squeezing us in as a walk-in on a Friday and getting us on the road SAFELY in our new-to-us 25 yo horse van for the 1,100 mile trek to Pennsylvania. Chris coordinated with a local tire vendor to find us the best price on a quality tires as well as handling mechanical and wiring issues which needed to be addressed prior to getting on the road. We highly recommend their knowledge and friendly Team!

They saved the day for us! We were stranded at a rest stop and needed a repair to our hitch for the RV. They were fast, polite, kind and very helpful! We are so thankful!
We were traveling from Ohio to Florida and had a malfunction near Gainesville. P&S had the software to check my Cat. Engine and Allison trans. They were onsite within an hour and Dom was professional and kind. Dom took the time needed to diagnose the problem and make sure not to waste time to pad the bill. Even though I choose to move the RV to a nearby Cat. Dealer for the final repair (turbo replacement) I feel confident he could have done the job well if needed. Thanks Dom and P&S.I feel it is important to add that after I waited Saturday, Sunday and most of Monday at the cat. Dealer to also diagnos my problem they found the exhaust brake actuator cylinder had broken off at its mount and was stuck in the closed position. $400 for time wasted and a misdiagnosis by p&s. I bought three hose clamps and secured the cylinder myself and drove home from Florida to Ohio with an operating exhaust brake and had no other issues.
Very responsive on the road service very reasonable on their prices good quality mechanics in their shop Mary professional to deal with
I had a horrible experience with this company. I was broke down on the side of the road in Hawthorne a few months ago. The bearing had locked up on my right rear tire of my trailer rendering me unable to make it home. I called this company because they were close by and in the meantime we chained the axle up and drug the trailer to the shop. They did the repair and told me everything was brand new and good to go. Mind you this was a very expensive repair and took them 2-3 days to complete. Fast forward to yesterday when I came out to a inside flat on my trailer. Got up under it and there was grease and oil all over the hub where the seal had blown out. I contacted the company this morning and was informed that their repair was only a temporary fix (was not informed of this at the time). I asked why I was not quoted for a permanent fix as an option and also why I was not informed that this would only be temporary. The gentleman could not answer that question and after expressing my dissatisfaction and that I would be contacting the BBC, I was threatened and spoken to very aggressively. They had no answer to my original question and basically told me it is not their problem. So, in conclusion, if you are expecting quality work by a professional company or expecting to receive adequate customer service, dont call them.
Had a truck in the area not building air, they went there fast and find out that the air compressor its inoperable, a bit pricey but they have very good mechanics.

These guys ROCK !!!!!!!My husband Jim and I had an issue with the ECM on our 2004 Peterbilt 379 on Friday 1/24 they came out, diagnosed and moved us to a safe place off the road. Not just one guy but 3 trucks came !!!! Ordered new ECM from our dealership (Rochester NY), arrived Tuesday morning at P&S. Brought it straight out to us. Now we are rolling back down the road. Can’t thank them enough. My husband Jim and I appreciate all you did for us. Thank you Dom and Corn.

They have good mechanics here and can replace or repair almost anything from engines computer diagnostics & tires to trailers & axles any and all of your heavy duty truck needs if they dont do it or have time they can point you in the right direction of some one who can I have had many experiences here none bad for me!
Great service. I will go back there anytime I got any work to be done.
Horrible job on clutch and transmission, loose screws on engine cables and wires unplugged of transmission, brackets missing on truck. If your not from a near by state dont go here they will take advantage because your not from the area and they know it will be hard for you to come back. Stay away!
My truck didnt want to start on 1/16/20 road service came out and found the cause of truck not starting, mechanic was great to talk to and very professional, I will use again if service is needed, reasonable rates as well. Thanks again!!
My motorhome broke down on October 2. I called P&S for help Ernie came to my rescue. He got there within a half hour. He gave me a price after he looked at it he was very knowledgeable and polite his attitude was not demeaning. Unlike some road services he took time to show me the problem and saved me money by showing me what was causing the part to fail so it wouldnt happen again. The job was done right the first time. I had another garage fix the same problem 2 months ago and because they didnt fix the REAL issue it happened again. I highly recommend P&S from now on I will go to them for my repairs. There prices are fair and comparable to other truck and trailer mechanic shops.
Cody and Bill in the service department are great. Road service is quick and normally can fix the problem on spot. Prices are comparable to other shops
