This is a review is on the website ordering only. I ordered a right front caliber for my truck but the website gave me a part number for a left front(no right or left description). I was told that I needed to reorder the part because I could not just exchange it, company policy. I had used my speed perks, so first I had to call the customer service number to get my perks added back to my account. Then I ordered the correct part, with the incorrect part number per the website, to be delivered. The website told me that the part was delivered. Nope, it was not delivered. After calling again, I found out the my part was being picked up.The website was wrong again. Horrible website experience.
Incredibly poor customer service- well actually no customer service today. I went in to purchase one item and as soon as I opened the door, the doorbell system rang repeatedly to alert the staff someone was in the store. Unfortunately no one seemed to be there- registers all abandoned but I began to hear a woman speaking. I searched for her and found her at a register in a “back” area like where parts are stored. A man looked up and said… you’ll need to wait up front we just haven’t had a chance to open the store yet. I was puzzled as it was 8am and the doors were unlocked. I left the item on the front counter, and left the store without my purchase. Three people present, including the manager Marcy and not one thought it would be appropriate to stop what they were doing and make sure a customer could pay or get assistance and be greeted. I can only imagine others might take advantage of their lax security but I’m hoping that kind of egregious behavior stops before someone gets hurt by their lack of security inviting unwanted attention.
Advanced Auto has the parts for your auto but they lack knowledgeable help. Not surprised, every business is experiencing this.
They answered the phone when we called and were polite. Service was excellent!
Had to exchange my battery in my truck which I bought here last year. It was under warranty, no cost, plus they professionally installed it for free. Very happy with the outcome.

Staff miss diagnosed my vehicle and they didnt know what was wrong with my vehicle
I called up there to check and see if they had a part in stock the Lady that answered the phone put me on hold. I accidentally hung up so I called back and she very rudely said “I said can you hold” because I guess she thought I didn’t want to hold the first time so I just hung up which was not the case. So when she came back having an attitude asked me “what do you want”. Then when I asked her for her name she hung up on me. So I called back again and she answered the phone, did not say a word and hung up again. So my husband called from his phone got a hold of a gentleman which refused to give us his name or her name.
Autozone said they have tools to rent but said they dont have basic tools. Just the tool to compress the calipers. What???Advance let me use THIS and I fixed my brakes in the parking lot! In town from Panama City recovering from a hurricane barely have fuel to make it back but it cost only $22 to fix it. A shop charges $75-$100 or more!

A little over a week ago I barely made it to this Advance Auto Parts with my dying car. I walked in and asked the person behind the desk (Jill) if she could help diagnose my car so I can see what I can do to fix it. Jill, as cool and calm as she could be smiled and said Sure, lets check it out. Not only did she correctly found out what was wrong with my car she also told me the level of difficulty it was to fix it. Me, not wanting to call a tow truck and paying hundreds of dollars for that and a mechanic decided to fix it myself. As I bought all the necessary parts to fix my car, Jill saw that I was struggling a little bit so she called Courtland (her coworker) to see if I needed help. Now Courtland?!? He was Advance Auto Parts Jesus. Not only did he show me how to fix my car problem, he even spent (A LOT) of time helping me! I was fortunate enough that the store wasnt busy. Both of them easily saved me hundreds of dollars. If I wasnt paying for school out of pocket I would of definitely gave them a generous tip. With all that said, I am extremely grateful for the staff Jill and Courtland at Advance Auto Parts on 2821 SW College Road for helping me when I was in need. They could of easily gave me minimum service but they decided to go above and way beyond expectation. Its people like them that makes the world an easier place to be in. 20 out of 10 recommend this place. Also give them a raise and bonus because they definitely deserve it.

Customer service worker Jill just gave me the wrong headlight for my car (twice) and told me I could bring the second one back if it was wrong. Well, it was wrong. I called the store and she was rude as ever and slammed the phone and hung up on me in the middle of me trying to figure out which bulb I needed. Called back and they had a guy answer and place me on hold then never came back. So I called again and they wont answer. Horrible customer service. I wasnt rude at all. Just trying to find out the right bulb. She needs to go work away from the public if a headlight ruins her day. Geez lady, chill out. Ill be letting Corporate know.

Good customer service here. Almost always has the parts I need in stock, and quick store/warehouse parts transfers if not. I appreciate that they freely accept used oil for recycling, as some other auto parts stores in the area do not. Also I am not sure if all of the Advance stores do this or not, but this location offers a 10% discount for active and veteran military members.
Pretty decent size Auto Parts store for being in a small town. Organized and clean. Also, got all the help I needed when I asked for it, without being bombarded by someone around me at all times (especially being a woman, can be hard in those types of stores). Great experience!

Jill. Very nice until she gave me the wrong headlight TWICE and i had to drive back to return it TWICE, then she hung up on me mid-sentence when I called to tell her I would have to return it.She really needs a snickers.

Lots of trinkets to make your car or truck special. Of course they have a wide range of brand name auto parts and are also knowledgeable about vehicle repairs. They have high end parts as well as economical but reliable parts for the person that just needs to get by until they can afford the major repairs. One can find anything from motor oil to air fresheners and have fun doing. They will charge your vehicle battery and in some cases replace it for you. They have good personality staffed employees. They give military discounts and will personally change wiper blades and loan out tools for do it yourself repairs. I think reliable is a great way to describe Advance Auto.
One of two places I prefure to shop at for any vehicle supplies.

Best auto parts store in Ocala. Be sure to check online for coupons. If you order online you will save at least 20% versus in store pricing. Staff are always kind. Just remember they arent mechanics. Dont expect them to diagnose and walk you through fixing your car.

Didnt have the parts I was looking for. And didnt seem to care. Only stopped by here because it was close by. Went to AutoZone employees were helpful and the price was a Lot less.

Went there to buy a sun shade for the front windshield of my car. Wide variety of products, excellent customer service, reasonably priced.
Love this place. They have a shop next door PALS auto repair shop. They are super helpful and will go beyond out of their way to help you. We were coming home with a new born from another state and our barring exploded and the guy thay was running everything fixed the car and made sure it was in our budget. They let us have our dpgs in the shop and our baby it was amazing.

Went to two other parts stores and all said it was starter, battery and alternator. This guy gave me print out, replaced the battery and all is great.
If I could take this one star back I would. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experience in my 10 years of being a business owner. Purchased a defective part and after a week of no work and not being able to provide for my family because of a defective part they sold me they would not refund me my money nor even print me my receipt. All because the store manager (Marcy) felt that it was her decision to deny the refund. My buisness, family and I are regulars at this location and this is how I get treated. I have emailed the district manager and nothing no response! The store manager states that the district manager is on her side. So much for the customer always being right.

Never really had a good experience at an AutoZone theyve got what you need thats about it prices arent that great generally find most of what Im looking for somewhere else for a cheaper price last time I was at an AutoZone when the worst of my experiences there so not complaining too much cuz I got what I needed but I should have went to Walmart

Actually bought oil change through Groupon for Pals auto which is part of advance auto. To start I had a 10 am appointment which I learned didnt mean a thing to them if you only have oil change. I waited 3 and a half hours before my car was done as did the woman before me. They took other customers in and got them out that were paying to have other things done. They tried to get me to buy a tire alignment and balance of tires and once I wasnt paying for anything extra they just put you to the side. My brakes are really bad on my car and they never touched on that subject again once they knew I wasnt getting my wallet out. I watched them charge a man $50 to install 2 batteries. Wal-Mart does it for free. Buyer beware of this place.
