The owner Tommy personally explained the options available to fix my air. I had been to three other shops first and they all wanted to charge at least $50 more and have me wait 2-3 hours. Cold Air Comfort LLC had me in and out in 30 minutes. Nice air conditioned office to wait in. No games and deceit that many mechanics are unfortunately known for. Just honest, nice, hard working people. I will be a customer for life.

Tommy and his team are the best. They are good about getting all my vehicles in fast and back toMe just as fast. They’ve replaced the air conditioner in my f350, replaced hubs and wheel studs. On my Volkswagen they replaced all brakes and rotors and even topped off my windshield wiper fluid! They’re work is quality and holding strong so far. Highly recommend!

My family has been using this mechanic for 20+ years, so I thought I could trust him with my first car. After paying him for my first car (which he serviced and ensured me I am good to go, even before leaving with my car, he told me this is a great, safe, and reliable first car). After two full tanks and a matter of two weeks of driving, the car broke down as I was driving. It stopped in the middle of the road, thankfully I was in a neighborhood and could push the car into a driveway. I am lucky it was not on a highway. After bringing it to another mechanic, as Tom told me he is too busy to take me in right now, I found out the timing belt had never been changed and was broken. As many know, it is standard to change the timing belt every 5-6 years maybe 10 pushing it. Due to the timing belt being broken, the valves and everything else in that area broke as well. The costs amounted to nearly $3000 to repair. This all could have been avoided if I had been honestly told that the timing belt had never been changed.Not only has this cost me nearly the same as the car, but if this had broken down on the highway I could have been injured or worse. All of this could of have been avoided if he had done a professional service and I wouldnt need to leave this review. To note I am not one to leave bad reviews. I took the time out of my day to inform others to be cautious. So far, he has not offered to help in any way towards the car he sold me and ensured me has been serviced and is in good state.Whats more, most dealers and mechanics worth their salt offer warranties. From this place, nothing. I look forward to the mechanics response so that this can be resolved. Until then my family, friends, and neighbors will be staying clear in the future. I’ve learnt my lesson the hard way, do not blindly trust someone, even if they have been a family friend for years.

Tomas has been servicing and repairing my familys vehicles for 7 or 8 years. He is always honest and knowledgeable about what you need. He tries to give you the best price he can while still making a living. He is trustworthy and thats a hard quality to find. We value him so much that even after we moved about an hour North we still take our vehicles to him.

Everything was fixed properly in a timely fashion, everything was explained thoroughly with price break down which was fair and reasonable. No guess work or unnecessary fixing of items not broken. After going to a couple places during the weekend and being told they didn’t know what was wrong with my ac a friend recommended me here. Tommy the owner was so nice, took initiative on a closed day to find out what was wrong with my Honda Odyssey, explained everything throughly to me, and went right to work. Thomas fixed the air conditioning in my off-warranty Hyundai Tuscon just as he said he would. He fixed it in mid-July and I had to turn the AC to the lowest setting it was cooling so well. I am very satisfied and highly recommend his service.

My partner bought her first car from here. A few weeks later the car dangerously broke down with the timing belt failing and ruining the engine. This is weeks after the car was bought from here and the car had apparently a full service. The repair bill is nearly as much the car was and weve received no support or help from this place for their neglectful service of the car. Most places would guarantee their work hence covering any issues happening to their cars weeks after purchase. We await their response and solutions.

Tommy was great. You can tell he really knows his trade and that most importantly, he is an honest mechanic. after diagnosing my car, he ultimately concluded that the AC compressor had gone out. Of course this is one of the more costly repairs you have to make in regards to your AC. He did not pressure me whatsoever, he gave me time to think over howd id like to proceed and get back to him when I had decided. Granted Im sure there was a mark up on the parts, but he is running a business after all and thats the price you pay for peace of mind (rather than going out and buying the parts yourself). After Tommy finished with my car, the AC was blowing ice cubes, by far the coldest its ever been. Overall, I highly recommend Tommy for every and any problems you might have with your cars AC.

Everybody wants a good mechanic but the difference is, one that is fair and one you can trust. I can say with our a doubt Thomas is both. Very professional no games honest mechanic work. He even referred me too another mechanic to do a specific job and they were fair as well. I also need body work and he knows someone that can help me with that. I haven’t had to drive my SUV for a few weeks due to quarantine, but when I did, the AC only blow hot air as if the windows were down. I searched on the net like everyone else and most sites recommended Cold Air Comfort Automotive and the owner, Thomas, all had 5 stars. I thought this can’t be true, a great mechanic … for real? So I made an appointment, he gave me a quote and information on the warranty.I dropped off the SUV, he was supper nice and very trustworthy. I felt great … let’s see the quality of work. I picked up the SUV when it was ready and the AC was cold on my short drive home. The next day I had to drive to my office in MIA and I was sooo cold I had to turn the fan down and the temp up … WAY TO GO THOMAS. If this is what they provide for fixing ACs, I can’t wait until I drop the SUV off my normal maintenance ….. After arriving in Fort Lauderdale, from a long trip, the AC system, in my 2011 Kia Sorrento, decided to malfunction. I had cold air coming out of the passenger side and hot air coming out of the drivers side.I did an internet search for the best A/C auto shop in Ft. Lauderdale. I came across a few suggestions, but the one that caught my attention was Cold Air Comfort. The reason it caught my attention was because of the reviews. After reading each one a few times, I noticed a pattern. Thomas, the owner of Cold Air Comfort, is a very methodical troubleshooter and a very down to earth person. I decided to take the car for inspection. Thomas and I discussed the issue. After he gained a good understanding of the problem, he then inspected the vehicle. He suggested we change the AC expansion valve, the high-pressure hose, and service the AC system. The price point was reasonable for the type of work performed. It has been a week since the maintenance was performed. I am satisfied with the results of the work. As for Thomas, he more than met my expectations and validated the pattern that I noticed in the reviews.
