New Era Automotive upheld the definition of professionalism. They worked with me and spoke with me individually as a customer, not as a client of my insurance carrier.Although the vehicle was a total loss, they were kind and considerate, exploring any options that remained.

I was referred to New Era via AAA. They were one of a handful of auto-repair shops that work on Manual Engines. My clutch died 2 weeks after I took it to a Volvo shop that claimed nothing was wrong with your clutch. New Eras, Jeff, was exceptional. New Eras team reviewed my issue and instead of a new Clutch Kit, it turned out to be just the Master. I spent just a fraction of the other estimates I received. They were courteous, provided updates on the repair work, fair and offer the type of customer service that is becoming a dying art. Since then I have trusted New Era with all of my automotive needs.

I went there to get my brakes fixed,after seemingly doing a good job I foolishly paid them and drove home in my car. The next morning my car driveway was filled with oil. This confused me because when I brought my vehicle to them it wasn’t leaking oil, so I went and did some investigating.I grabbed my jack,and oil filter pliers and began the investigation. It’s important to know that I change my own oil and replace the filter myself, something they probably didn’t account for. As I am using my flash light to see underneath my car I realize that the oil filter was different from the one I bought and it was also loosened leading me to my inevitable conclusion, that the mechanics messed with my car .When I called they denied any wrong doing as expected and offered to show me their inventory of filters to I guess prove themselves innocent. You guys have lost a customer, so I hope it was worth it. I will never bring my car back.

We were on our way home from Miami (west coast) when the A/C went out in our 2018 Journey. We stopped by New Era Automotive just hoping they could maybe help us out. Didn’t expect much because they had many vehicles in their lot. Not only did they squeeze us in they got us back on the road in less than an hour with working A/C! Great service!

Have been using New Era For years. Several good experiences. One time the dealer told me the repairs would be almost $2000, went to New Era for a 2nd opinion. Fixed the problems for under $300.

My work van had an issue starting so my employee called New Era Automotive to take a look at the issue. We called 5+ times to check in on the status of the work van and received no answer. When we finally heard back from them, they said the issue was probably bad wiring connection. Then they called us back and changed their answer to bad serpentine belt. When we received our invoice they charged us for $130 to figure out what was wrong with the van and $100 to replace the serpentine belt which is a quick fix and shouldnt take several hours to fix. Additionally they charged for an oil change I did not approve. The oil was just changed less than 30 days prior to that. New Era Automotive Inc was very unprofessional and took it upon themselves to perform services that were not authorized and ripped us off for changing a $30 part. I would not recommend this place.

Jeff, he’s the guy who works at the front . He’s very professional and polite . He really assisted me the different performance needs of my car . The service was A1 and fast . He also advised me of other things pertaining to my car which I knew needed to be done, not only was he helpful, he made sure that my car left done and up to date .

If you’re looking for an honest mechanic shop with an owner that is looking out for your best interest then this is the place. Don’t call anyone else besides Fidel in the Oakland Park or Fort Lauderdale area for your automotive repairs.New era automotive is the best.

This place is awesome. I moved up into the area about a year ago and I used to drive 30 minutes to go to my mechanic in North Miami. Then a friend recommended New Era. They gave me a better rate, faster service, and only what I needed. The people that work there care about having you as a repeat customer and it shows by their complete honestly. Very fair had a miss understanding, and was able to fix the miss understanding the owner helped and even went above and beyond to keep me as a customer, Sometimes you have to just talk to the right person very please and will recommend. If you ever have any problem just explain them I’m sure they will work to fix them.

Rating is no reflection on workmanship. But, if customer service, professionalism and common courtesy are important to you then you may want to consider another shop. So disappointing.

No complaints on actual work done but customer service was not professional. People skills were poor and approach was undesirable. Cold and dry demeanor. A special person who knows how to interact with the public should be hired.

I’m a repeat customer and have been for at least the pst 3 years since I have had my 2010 jeep. I can call and reach them any day during business hours to see if I can drop my truck off for whatever services I feel need done. Jeff and Fadel has always been accommodating and reasonable with pricing as I greatly appreciate it being a female. I don’t feel taken advantage of. I’ve also referred plenty other clientele from my mom and sister, to even co workers to come experience them. I rave about them all the time.This trip was no difference, I called in the morning on my way to work and they had availability for the same day for oil change. Gave me my appointment time and I was set. I work around the corner and was late but they were still accommodating to me which I greatly appreciate. I came in the other day and received great customer service. I needed an oil change and new brakes. I was out of there in no time and the guy at the front is great !

I was driving back home from college alone and I hit an unavoidable piece of debris on the highway - it was either hit it or get into an accident. The debris hit the front underside of the car and damaged the radiator. Within 10 minutes I had lost coolant and my engine was overheating. After pulling over and calling AAA towing, they recommended New Era. I was not familiar with the area as I had 60 more miles to go before home, but I trusted their recommendation and I was not disappointed. I believe I dealt most with the owner, but Jeff is the one that fixed the car. They also identified a dent in the condenser and recommended that it also be replaced to avoid an expensive AC repair in the future. They made it very clear that this was not essential and that I could opt out, but we believed them and he even showed me the dent. The car was ready the next day. Additionally, after fixing the main issues and while we arrived to pick up the car, they noticed a minor leak from a freon hose which they offered to fix at no charge and told me to just continue monitoring. This was the first time I have ever had an emergency situation like this, especially in an area I am not familiar with. The mechanics at New Era are trustworthy, professional, and made this experience much less stressful. If I ever find myself in Oakland again and I need a repair, I will be calling them.

Very professional and friendly. Did a great job diagnostically and was very honest and priced fairly. Got my car running like new. I have 2008 Toyota rav 4I moved to Florida a little over one year ago and I’m happy that I now have a mechanic that I can trust. They are a true gem. I met Fadel and Jeff through a Costco recommendation three years ago, and right away I knew they were keepers. They are very good and reasonable. They have done numerous work on our cars and all have been very satisfactory. Sometime ago they moved and I lost touch with them. What did I do ? I Google searched until I found them and what a joyous feeling that was. These guys are the best from their diagnosis, to their pricing and work . I will go no where else.

Not only does Jeffrey always respond to emails in such a timely manner, they got above and beyond to fit in loyal customers when it’s much needed. After my alternator went out on a Sunday morning, I needed to get towed and was recommend New Era even though they were not the closest. With a car that couldnt be started I was nervous but Fadal was great. Honest and fast service. I would not hesitate to bring my car back for regular service.

FIDEL and his crew were AMAZING! He went above and beyond to make sure our vehicle was safe to drive! He also repaired my daughters older car, AC was not working, she got some estimates, FIDEL did it for half the price and the AC has bee fine since April ... He definitely deserves a 5 star rating!

Amazing experience! I received great quality service and the staff was very professional and friendly. I had my car towed to New Era but I couldn’t go there because I had to work. They were able to track my car once it was in tow. They were able to figure out the problem and fix my car at a very reasonable price in one day. The most dishonest automotive repair experience Ive ever been involved in. Definitely didnt receive the 5 star service some of these other customers are leaving. I grew up with family members that owned dealerships so, Im familiar with parts and prices. I often do some of my own maintenance and repairs. This time I broke down and needed a few parts(Simple, inexpensive, and fast upper radiator hoses!!!) replaced... Most auto parts stores carry the parts all the time. Could have patched the leak on the road with a good tape. The owner told me that they would be delivered from out of state(More wait time, labor, possible holding fee). After deciding to get it repaired elsewhere, the parts my car needed magically appear. The owner wants to charge an hour labor for a 15 minute job. DO NOT GIVE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THEM!! You are better off taking your car to a large chain.

Although this company appears to being growing rapidly (and good for them), the quality of service has remained excellent- trustworthy, efficient and fairly priced. This is my second or third visit and i have been accommodated even without an appointment. After rotating my tires elsewhere i started hearing a loud noise everytime i stepped on my brakes, i took it to New Era and Fadel drove it and was able to tell me i needed brake work critically. Didnt feel pressure he just made me aware of the extent and seriousness of getting this done right away, why did the other company not notice this after they rotated the tires? Awesome service, going back for my brake job

The folks at New Era were very professional and their honesty about their work was self-evident. I’ve gotten my car serviced there many times, they’ve fixed my AC and my starter. I usually deal directly with the owner Fidel who is an incredibly pleasant and honest man. I have had nothing but good experiences there and would not take my Honda anywhere else. Highly recommended!

I was able to make an appointment for an oil change the same day and was in and out in less than an hour. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. The lobby has free coffee and a tv that you can watch while you wait.

New Era is the most amazing body shop I have ever been to, I’m in my mid 20’s and haven’t always been that great at taking care of my car (you live and you learn) I’ve been to a fair amount of body shops and this is by far the most reliable one I’ve come across yet. Although I had some issues with original alignment work done on my car, Fadel was more then fair in regards to his answer to solve my problem. The service done both times was quick. Price the first time was fair. The second time to correct the problem was done without charge. So in conclusion, I would say these guys are as they state: Professional / Fast / Affordable. They came highly recommended by AAA and they didn’t disappoint. They fixed my starter, changed my slave cylinder, and have done many other repairs to my car. I must say that my husband and I were pleasantly surprised with the service and professionalism displayed at this auto shop. We had broken down and our usual mechanics shop was closed on the weekend. The tow truck driver suggested New Era, and needless to say we were a little nervous because we have never utilized this shop. Fidel did not hover over us or push us to purchase items not needed (as others have). He allowed us time to make a decision on our own. Great service for warranty from the online booking and timely response to accurate quote. No suggestions for additional work or replacement parts! Its great to have an independent alternative to the dealerships and their high prices.

I was traveling for work from North Carolina and my van broke down... NOT GOOD!!... I’m at the mercy of strangers! AAA membership helps but Fadel and his team at New Era Automotive, a AAA approved establishment, really took care of me and my van. Went above and beyond by... topping off fluids!!!... adding extra gas!!!... With a new fuel pump and a few hours later I was back on the road. I’m forever grateful. My faith in humanity strengthens because of these good and professional people. It’s been over a month since Fadel and his team worked on my van and I still think about them because I guess they made such a great impression on me.

The cost for parts and labor are consistent and sometimes lower with what I am able to verify with my friends and online sources, and the turnaround has always been either one business day or the same business day.Most recently, my car had to be towed from my place of employment to New Era due to a bad alternator. Fadel and his staff were able to look at my car, order a part, and fix the problem all in the same day. I would highly recommended New Era Automotive to anyone who is looking for a AAA-approved shop that is honest and effective.

Very fast and friendly. A friend recommended them to me and I see why! I was in and out in 30 minutes. Toyota dealership told me my whole tire needed to be replaced because of a nail, but New Era fixed it for me (very very affordably) and didnt try to sell me anything even though I went in thinking Id need a used tire.

I towed my car into this place because the transmission was fried. After calling me to tell me the obvious and quoting me a price over 2 times anybody else for the same job, I had to pay $90 for a diagnostic. The owners were nice enough to deal with and I cant speak for the quality of their work as I didnt do anything there.

Took car in for a brake job and door lock repair. Dropped car off in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. This is the only auto repair shop I would use,. I trust these guys to do a great job at a fair price.

This garage is excellent, Fadel is the owner very honest and knows what he is doing. Ignore the 1 and 3 star reviews. The 1 star had a crappy reason for giving them that, and the 3 star didnt have a reason at all. When the front side of my car literally fell and sat right on my tires, Fadel had my car ready the next day.
