Outstanding Company. This review needs more then just 5 stars! I made an Appointment for Tuesday at 1130am for a wheel alignment. I arrived at 1120am and they took me in right at 1130am. So nice to go to a place where appointments are made and you know you will get in on time. Customer Service was above and beyond so friendly. I was greeted and welcomed - nice family owned business. Justin explained everything he did to my car (Buick Enclave) when he was finished. I felt like I was in great hands while there. Thank you - I appreciate the great work - WOW my car drives wonderful now. Our family will be back for future needs.

Justin made quick work in getting my lowered Optima back in to alignment. The flush alignment rack makes it easy for lowered vehicles to drive on to. Car drives straight now without any pull and the steering wheel is level.

Excellent work. Justin was able to squeeze me in for an appointment and was very cooperative and friendly even though I was being a difficult customer throughout the week trying to get my car fixed before getting it aligned. Definitely recommend this shop. If youre far out, its definitely worth the drive to get it done properly.

Phone answering girl is more of a nuisance and needs customer service training. Answering machine is more than sufficient to replace her job. Also, the owner has trouble telling time and has an attitude problem. I was 19 minutes late to alignment appointment for an old Lexus and the owner got angry and told me i cant take you, i waited for you for 30 minutes and your late, YOUR COSTING ME MONEY. (It has been 19 minutes).I remember before this place was busy, they were nice and friendly people. NOW they are too busy and make too much money, so theyre too good for everyone and very angry people. Negative and unfriendly environment.

The best of the best....I drove 40 Miles to give this place a chance for a Scion FR-S ...and I couldnt be any happier. They are exceptional and truelly take passion for what they do. I cant recommend this place enough for alignment, whether or not its a track toy or daily driver, they know what they are doing . This is the place to go and come back to and never have any doubts. Beyond courtesy customer service, even friendly and communicative with their customers. This place offers the most bang for buck out of any place I have been to for my needs, with trust and fine work. Best shop for specialty alignment by far. Had done suspension work and wheels to my vehicle took it to my local dealer to have the alignment done biggest mistake on my part the alignment came out very bad and said nothing can be done. Took my car to Justin and he got it all dialed in to perfect specs! Feels like a new car thanks again thailmans alignment for the amazing work!

Thalmann Alignment is really the best alignment shop in the Chicagoland area! I had new tires put on my Audi and needed to get an alignment done. The dealer quoted $500 for an alignment. My Audi salesman actually recommended Thalmann. First of all, they took my car in early. When I came inside, i was impressed by the cars in the shop and how professionally it was ran. The staff is extremely friendly, and when all was said and done, only my rear wheels needed to be adjusted and I ended up paying $80 vs. their $100 quote. Stop getting alignments done at your dealer! Take it to Thalmann!

Thalmanns is absolutely stellar! I was going to different shops with the same issue. Gave it to these guys and its solved in a few hours. Great shop to deal with, very fair prices. They are very out of my way but from now on, Thalmanns is the only place Ill use. Worth the drive 100%!!

My car was getting an alignment and was quite complex due to an accident. Justin did an excellent job of explaining everything he did and had to do to align my car. He put my car on the platform and pointed out the potential problems in the future. He was quick while being thorough. Will definitely recommend to everyone!

Excellent job aligning my lifted truck. My only complaint is theyre always so busy I need to plan a week or two in advance to get an appointment.

Fast easy quality alignment fair price .

This shop did outstanding work on my stock 4x4, which was pulling and juddering at speed. They resolved issues related to tire inflation, balancing, and alignment within an hour. I also apprciated the thorough overview of the what and why after they were done. Pricing is very fair and Ill be bringing my other cars here in the future. One request to the tech/owner though: please wear a mask when driving customer cars.

I’ve been going to this place for years with various lowered vehicles and always an excellent job by the owner there. Today I was suppose to be a drop off but he was able to squeeze me in between appointments and I was in and out within the hour. Hard to find quality shops like this these days.

I should have written a review years ago, but better later than never. Todd and Justin have been taking care of my cars and trucks for a long time. They can handle any and all suspension work not just alignment. They have lifted and lowered a number of vehicles and each time car comes out just like I asked and no issues whatsoever. I recommend them to people all over and there is a reason why others will drive over an hour for Justin and Todd to work on their car.

Typically, this is the best alignment shop around. Truly alignment specialists, they know things that tire store employees simply do not. Sometimes the place gets a little bit too busy for its own good.

Was recommended I bring my vehicles here by a number of friends and coworkers. Was kinda weary how close the alignment specs would end up; a unique car and lowered at that but, they knocked it out no problem. The guys here do great work and it shows. Their attention to detail and customer service are top notch and you can’t find a service now-a-days that provides both in such an efficient and wholesome way that they do. After looking up some places to get my alignment done I came across this place on local mustang forums. It seemed like a lot of people had gone here and had a great experience. I got my alignment done from here because of that and agree that its a great place with great people and service as well. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a professional job done.

I have nothing but great things to say about these guys. I brought my BMW 335i in for an alignment after installing aftermarket adjustable coilover suspension. Dropped my car off first thing in the morning & the alignment was done very soon after. Justin is very informative & took the time to explain all of the alignment specs to me when I came to pick the car up, which I appreciated. The car now drives & handles great with the properly setup suspension. Theres a reason all their reviews are 5-stars!

Even though its a 45-minute drive for me, Ive been going to Thalmanns for my alignments for 5 years. Todd and Justin are fantastic at what they do, and it really makes a difference. Ive taken my cars to the dealerships or tire shops, other independents, and theres always some issue with getting it right. When I take the car to Thalmanns, they always set it up right, and the car drives well. Its worth the trip to get it done right.

Excellent and quick service. Courteous staff. I arrived a few minutes before my scheduled appointment for an alignment. They took my car in right away and finished in less than twenty minutes. If you need an alignment, dont take your car anywhere else - especially a dealer where youll pay twice as much. I will be returning here for future alignments.

Great service, timely, professional, honest and incredibly courteous! They charged me less than what they had originally quoted because my rear alignment was fine. They also fixed a screw that had come loose. Im so glad I came here and couldnt recommend them highly enough!

Wonderful experience. I was ready to spend $$$$ to replace all the tires. I took it here as a last resort/opinion. He took his time and made small adjustments that made a huge difference. Charged me half of what even a simple alignment would cost. The dealer took 2 tries at fixing the alignment and couldnt get it right. The experience and honesty of these guys really shows. Thanks again.

Quoted me $75 with an appointment at 3pm. Walked in, dropped off the car, and before I could get my wallet out of my pocket they had the car up on the rack checking things out. I asked him how long he was thinking until I should return when Justin goes you can take a walk for 20 mins, or you could just wait. I waited, and it was done in 15, and he only billed me $50! My car drives straighter than a laser and they did a better job more timely than somewhere I paid $150 to have do it.

I have always been completely satisfied with this shop. Hands down the best around if you value your car.

Amazing service. Took my Miata here for the first time after NTB messed up my alignment twice. This place is perfect for anyone, regular drivers all the way up to track drivers. I had my alignment bolts replaced and had the alignment dialed in to a custom 949 Racing Alignment specification and they did an amazing job getting it down to the T. I highly recommend this to anyone within a 100 mile radius as this really is one of, if not the best alignment shops in Illinois.

Fantastic shop! Was referred to them by Touge Factory as TF is backed up pretty far for alignments. Called and got an appointment for a few days later. Alignment was fairly quick and specd perfectly to what I requested. Car drives brilliantly now! Its always refreshing to get great service from real car enthusiasts! Great guys, great work, great prices. While they have cutting-edge equipment and the experience to use it, the way they conduct business is unparalleled; HONEST, straightforward, no nonsense. Theys performed three alignments for me, including a 1965 Mercury. When we had to replace tires in a pinch on a Sunday afternoon and couldnt use them, the alignment check at the other tire shop showed that it was spot on. And when I say spot on, I mean right on the spec. The other shop commented that they almost never see it that close and that we mustve gotten lucky. Not luck, just experience and dedication to a job well done. Ive recommneded Thalmanns to everyone I know and will be going back!!!
