Great coffee shop. Every time we come here we are always pleased with the service and food taste! The staff is very friendly and welcoming! We love their outdoor covered patio and the quick and easy walk-up window.We ordered: Pumpkin spice latte and peppermint patty. Both were so delicious, just the right amount of spices and sweetness!Desserts: Lemon bar and pumpkin cheesecake. Both were incredibly delicious! The size of each piece was pretty decent, for the price! This is our favorite coffee shop place now!

Just had the Berry-Godmother Latte...delicious! Large coffee shop with an event space as well. Covered outdoor seating area also. Friendly and smiling staff repair the fast moving long line of customers. Although car show outside while I was there so the long line may have been unusual. Had heard great things about this place and it did not disappoint.

I was so impressed with this place. First of all, it’s huge - there are tons of seating. Perfect for meetups, brunch, college students, business meetings, etc. I tried their London fog and cinnamon roll - DELICIOUS. The cinnamon roll was so light, fluffy, and sweet. Super cozy and cute atmosphere, and the employees were very friendly. Will visit again for sure!

Thank god for this place during the snow storm. They had hot and delicious food. I ordered a muffin, red velvet cake, oatmeal cookie, tomato spinach and feta quiche, and a black coffee. I had the quiche in the restaurant and it was so delicious and filling, I made the mistake of ordering 2. At home I had the cookie which was a bit dry. The muffin was delicious but nothing extraordinary, but the red velvet. Cake was unbelievably different and delicious. It had a chocolate brownie like crust with a nice cream cheese topping. I was so happy with my dining experience and the opportunity to sit in and enjoy somewhere warm to eat. The shop seems to really have some great options and in-store shopping for products. The price for all my food was very modest. All of it was 20 dollars. I will be sure to visit the local business more than Starbucks because of the extent they went to serve their community during this horrific storm. My sincerest and heartfelt thanks for your service and gratitude.

Nice space, but I probably won’t come back.Pros:- the pumpkin spice latte I had was VERY good- the menu had a wide variety of coffee, smoothie, and food items- staff was friendly and made my coffee quickly- roomy seating area, with several tables that have plugs nearby- unisex bathrooms were nice!- Had a water fountain/ water bottle refill station, which I appreciated (I hate bugging the baristas for water refills)Cons:- pretty heavy Christian overtones (see photos). Christian music on repeat. As an exvangelical and lgbt+ person, it made me feel a little uneasy.- No employees were wearing masks, and it didn’t appear that any covid precautions were being taken. As someone who works in healthcare and is aware of how full hospitals are with covid patients currently, this also contributed to my feeling uneasy.- Not the cleanest place. There were crumbs on my table, and trash and dead bugs around the table where I was seated. Walls and light fixtures very dusty. Carpet not in great shape. A periodic deep clean would really help the place feel more inviting, IMO.They’re doing a lot right, but it’s not the place for me.

Nice place to sit and have a coffe, some cake, or even a smoothie(plus more)... You can get work done on a laptop or sit with some friends at tables and play cards. Inside and outside sitting is available and the chocolate cake was super rich and so delicious. Definitely a place to go back to.

Lots of seating! Whats worse than preparing to go read at a coffee shop only to find out there arent any seats? That wont be a problem at Kindred. We are regulars here and have tried lots of menu items including salads, desserts, breakfast, and of course... coffee. Our boys love the chocolate muffins. Coffee is good, however, Im not a coffee connoisseur.

My experience-There were plenty of outlets-A nice place to study but the tables were very cramped together-The coffee was good but take into account that I waited about 10 minutes for my beverage.-The carpet was filthy with stains-The tables weren’t clean at all-The chairs were unstable and wobbly (I actually saw someone switch out their chair three times).-I never saw anyone wearing gloves while dealing with the pastries-There was a blonde lady behind the counter who was really rude while taking my order-I found several bugs around my table-No covid-19 precautions what so ever.Overall I wouldn’t recommend based on my experience

Great food choices and quality. Do not like the high back chairs. Very uncomfortable for you sink in. Crowded at 10am. Will try a later time. You can pick up and go,, or sit outside,,, but It is hot and in the sun most of the day.

We, the whole family and cousins, came for after dinner tea/coffee. It was ok, nothing to write home about... The staff was not exactly friendly. They all seemed like they wanted to be some where else and 10 minutes before closing time they herded everyone out as fast as they could! Its a wonder that they didnt use electric cattle prods. Not exactly a friend atmosphere... We wont be back!

Im an artist, so chain coffee shops are not my cup of tea--literally. I found this place by invitation and I loved it the moment I walked in the door. Good lighting, plenty of S P A C E, wifi, lounge chairs, firm chairs and even stumps to call home. The food is fresh made--I recommend the quiche--and the coffee was perfect. There is outdoor and indoor seating and the staff was great. New work space for me.

Ill admit its been a while since Ive been to Kindred, since Ive moved to Fort Worth and its a bit out of my way these days-- but the coffee and atmosphere are *great*. Great place to grab a cuppa with friends, work on the next great American novel or whatever your creative aspirations are, and did I mention the coffee is really, really good?You may see a couple of photos I took in June of 2018 and just now submitted to Googles photos of the place-- they put *glitter* in it! Thats right! Drinkable glitter! Ive developed a lot of serious dietary restrictions since I started going there (plus the move), but I can almost guarantee wouldnt feel as sad about not being able to have chocolate if I had a cup of their cream-laden coffee in lots of not mocha options.Show up for the coffee. Stay and keep coming back for the amazing atmosphere and endless possibilities Kindreds team brews back behind the counter. The coffee lives up to the expectations youd have of the space-- light, airy, inviting, easy on the eyes, and definitely worth revisiting.Theres not many reasons Id willingly go back over to NRH side of things, but trust me when I say this is one of the few on the list Id consider. Try it out, you wont be disappointed that you did.

This place is interesting.. It wasn’t the easiest place to be productive, because it seemed like a place where everyone came to chat. Which is fine, but the seating was so “cozy” that the chatter was hard to tune out.The coffee was mediocre.The place has a lot of potential, but the entire seating area could use some updating.Bottom line, I think it does well to serve the surrounding public, but probably not a place I would visit again.

Shot was good, but didnt come with the traditional sidecar - minor, but surprising at this price point. Their small cortado was served in a (full) cappuccino cup, so I worry about what a cappuccino there must look like.

This is some excellently sourced, roasted, and brewed coffee right here. The Ethiopia I got tastes so clean and has that slightly fruity acidity without tasting under or over extracted. Ill have to come back and see if the pour overs are this consistently good.

Great coffee and great atmosphere with a great cause. They had many different seating sections so you can have a large group conversation or sit by yourself. It was versatile so you can buckle down and do lots of computer work or have a chat with a friend. The staff were all very nice and helpful when ordering. You should also check out their cause because it’s pretty cool as well.

Great desserts, seriously. If you are a chocolate lover the Chocolate Espresso Mousse is fantastic! Also they do really well with their pour over coffee, best we have discovered in this area so far.

Their cheesecake tart options are fantastic. I like the seasonal change-ups they have. Love their lavender vanilla latte. The Key West chicken wrap is to die for! The environment is very comfortable and welcoming. Nice staff. I often go out of my way to go here for all of the above, as they are quite a distance from where I live. Worth it. Only thing I wish they would offer is a military discount. That is not a deciding factor, but it is a 100% guarantee that military/retired military appreciate and frequent those businesses that show their appreciation.

I was SUPER wowd when I walked into this establishment. It doesnt look like much at all from the outside but when you walk inside... its like walking into Willy Wonkas chocolate factory! Its a very cool vibe and coffee is good... I have only been 2 times and got iced coffee! I will return

We stopped here for take-out recently (we have a dog) and got a delicious turkey and ham club sandwich. The turkey was off the bone and the ham was good and dry. The potato salad was especially good. The staff was very efficient and friendly.

Ive had to pleasure to live and travel across the world from Vancouver to Barbados and have enjoyed espresso in each of the countries. Upon moving to Dallas I discovered Kindred and am now hooked. What a beautiful vibe this place gives off. I highly recommend their Chai Tea or London Fog if you are looking for something without espresso. Their lattes are the best!I feel perfectly safe here during the pandemic ( I should note I noticed two reviews regarding and felt they were completely dishonest )Remember your safety is in your own hands so do not put blame onto others for your own.Thank you Kindred and Ill be in with my family to enjoy a latte!

Everything was wonderful! I visit with my sister every time were in town! Its cozy and inviting. They have Turkish Coffee, which is always a treat to come by. This visit, I got a peppermint mocha. Great ambience, lots of space and room between seating. Sweet and savory things to eat. Many drink choices as well. Also they have multiple calendar events planned such as painting classes you can sign up for, etc..

They have a wonderful catering area. We rented the half room and we selected a few refreshments and the service was amazing.The prices were so very fair and it was a great birthday venue. This will be our first choice for a venue in the future. I highly recommend it for any event you have. Making our reservation was a piece of cake and so easy. I know this place has good options but I tried their Mexican Hot Chocolate and it tasted like someone poured Lucas Chilli Powder in it. It was burning my throat. Mexican hot chocolate at times has Cinnamon, but this was not cinnamon. I called and asked about the ingredients in their Mexican hot chocolate and the girl on the phone said they add CAYENNE PEPPER to it. Unsure what Mexican recipe they are following but this feels a mix poor marketing and a bit of cultural ignorance. I grew up in Mexico and never had or even heard of someone adding peppers to sweet drinks. Opportunity for Kindred here; Please list out your ingredients on these kind of drinks. My throat is still burning as I am typing this. I was not expecting this and its not listed anywhere. My wifes Chai tea latte was good though. Thank you.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. The cookies and blueberry scones are off the hook! Huge seating area. My husband are moving to this area from out of state and this place is one of the reasons, we are choosing it. We have traveled to several countries and all over the U.S and we are foodies and loved baked goods. This place is among the best. We will be regulars once we move.

My one complaint would be that the public internet is really slow even when there are not hardly any other customers inside. Overall, great place to go to meet with a friend or gather a small group.

Kindred by its very name is one of the warmest, most welcoming coffee houses. In actuality, I’ve never seen one with a better atmosphere. I highly recommend the quiche with your latte!!

Wow! I never (and I mean NEVER) write reviews, but this place deserves 10 stars! My husband and I were on a weekend getaway in Fort Worth and wanted to check out a local coffee shop, but it was the Fourth of July weekend and lots of places were closed. I’m grateful that they were, because I may not have found this gem! The iced white mocha latte and vegan blueberry muffin is a combination so perfect it’s award worthy. Cute and clean location with fast and friendly service. Will be returning when we are back in the area!

My favorite new coffee shop. The atmosphere is very cozy with a nice patio area. It is also the first and only place Ive ever seen a Bitcoin ATM. Neat!I had the Smores Latte and my wife had the Love Potion. The Smores Latte was great with hints of chocolate and garnished with charred marshmallows, plus chocolate and crumbled Graham Crackers on the rim. I tried the Love Potion and the Berry flavor was too prominent for my taste, but would be a good choice for someone not wanting a coffee taste.

Liked the outdoor seating, and plenty of tables to social distance, service was prompt. We dont care for fancy, sugary coffee drinks. We like a good cup of drip coffee. Theirs had no flavor, it was like sipping on hot water with lots of half and half because they dont allow for self pouring of cream, milk, etc. they do it for you and even though I said just a little bit all I could taste was the 1/2 and half. Couldnt drink it.

I got the iced mocha with an extra shot. The coffee was strong and tasted good. I did not eat any food but I recommend the coffee.

Im conflicted.On one side: excellent space to meet people and to study.On the other side: it has the worst coffee and service of a coffee shop in the area. Their specialty drinks and lattes are artificial and usually give one a stomach ache afterward. And their service could not care less you are there.Could easily be the best coffeeshop in the area. I truly think it is a management issue, hopefully they realize and make some updates.

I went to Kindred Coffee with my church youth group for a Bible study, and I did enjoy the environment, staff and coffee! Admitidly I dont have too much to say on this little shop yet, but I will certainly come again!

Kindred used to be my favorite coffee shop, but the last year or so the quality and service have really gone downhill. Every single time I’ve been there in the last year, they’ve gotten my order wrong. This is 6+ times they’ve forgotten my drink, made the drink wrong (which is potentially dangerous because I can’t have any dairy), or made my mom’s drink wrong when we go together.It’s just very disappointing because we spend the first 25 mins of our time there trying to get our drink fixed instead of enjoying our visit. Consistently making drinks incorrectly or forgetting them signals great disorganization and lack of care for customers. I genuinely hope they can improve, because I used to really like it here!

Done wrong but tastes good

It was expensive and the coffee was mediocre and the quiche was so salty we couldnt eat it and the ham and cheese was to bland. The bill was almost 20.00 I expected it to be better.

Excellent customer service and fantastic coffee, food and bakery items! A room can be reserved for a more private meeting, and the open atmosphere reminds me of a Mediterranean coffee shop...atmosphere with elegance. Will be returning often!

I got the Ethiopian single origin slow bar pour over coffee... man that was epic. Just as described fruity complex and sweet. Was a fun date with my girlfriend. Spent two hours there and could have spent more.

The cold brew was well done, as was the maple pecan latte. Fast and friendly service all around, and a clean, well kept space great for small groups. I might be upgrading this to a 5 star review once I come back and try the slow bar!

Carmel Frappuccino was good.I ordered Soy in mine and watched the girl put regular milk in it.I asked her if she put soy and she told me yes. I called her out on her lie and told her I seen her put regular milk in my drink so then she took it back and remade it.Thats a pretty big thing to lie about. Ill find another shop to stop by unless I have all eyes on their staff.

Ive been to this restaurant several times and I always enjoy it. I cannot really say Ive eaten here before. Usually, I come have a drink (tea or coffee) and maybe a dessert or pastry. I use the place mainly to study. There are others with a laptop out, but its not like at some places with someone at every single table. So its always easy to find a place to sit, and no one bothers you. The restroom is down the hall, but its very clean. Also the chairs are padded and comfortable, and its bright and cheerful inside.ONE YEAR LATERToday, August 19, 2018, I went in for the first time in several months. Wow, theyve added on a HUGE room! This was a Sunday afternoon and it became very busy. There was a group of about 40 people, I am guessing PTA parents, addressing envelopes. It became a bit noisy and active. I did have a nice Chai Tea Latte before everyone arrived. Really aromatic and delicious.

The coffee was strong and tasted good. I didnt eat any food.

Love this place! I go to study here all the time and order the same thing: a medium cubana and it is absolutely delicious!!! My only complaint and reason it isnt 5 stars is that it is super loud and very busy but that just shows that most people love going here.

Found this coffee shop recently, go here every week to meet with a group of guys to talk life. Staff is great. You do have to wait for your coffee a while as they are usually very busy, but the coffee is worth the wait and consistent every time I go.

I’m obsessed with their chocolate banana smoothie w/ almond milk! This is such a cool place with a nice vibe, and I love meeting up with friends at this spot.
