I had a ton of work done on my aging automobile. I picked it up completely repaired and clean which I didnt expect. Communication is also excellent and their method of using technology to communicate what the issues are with the automobile and they perform their inspection is amazing. BIG thumbs up.

They were professional and honest about what needed to be fixed and how much it would cost. The final cost was higher than quoted because the repair required additional work that was not visible in the initial inspection. But the total cost was still a fair price, based on my previous experience with my truck.

I’m new to Texas and needed a good, honest mechanic. A person I met recommended Parra and I’m so glad they did. I thought it was an alternator problem but turned out to be just loose connectors. They fixed it immediately. They could have told me any lies and charged me for it but they were honest and good. They have a customer for life now!

I visited for two vehicles inspection: Courteous and very fast. They were done in 15 minutes., both times.I also visited the shop near me last week, to check out if there were any damages to the car after getting stuck in a deep pothole. Went in for an inspection and was in and out in about 30 minutes. Polite, professional, and fast! Great first time experience with this business.

Love that they provide a link for all services asked for, but also for inspections. That means if they see something, they will either recommend repair/replace or advise you to keep an eye on it. For instance, they recommended I change my rear brakes at 2mm left in pads, but to wait a bit on front brakes with 5mm left. Open and transparent and easy to grab a PDF for my files.

They had my car for three weeks and could not even diagnose the exact problem. (The car won’t start) They had a guess but could not repair. They had it towed to a BMW specific shop that they recommended and after two weeks they still have not looked at it. They blame a worker shortage but as the customer that is not my problem. Will they let me slide when it is time to pay because of a money shortage on my part. I know Parra tried, but I am still without my car. I hesitate to recommend them at this time. They did not charge me for what they did.

Ryan and the guys fixed my car so I could drive to Iowa for a nursing assignment. They did an awesome job and I will definitely bring my vehicles to them in the future.

I had a AAA battery with warranty and my car died. However when AAA came they said the problem was not with the battery but with something else. I ended up towing the car to Parra. After a few hours they determined that the problem was actually the battery. When I called AAA again they helped explain to the AAA guy why the battery is dead and AAA replaced the battery free of charge. The guys at Parra were honest and did not charge me for electrical work I didnt need. Ended up paying them only a little amount for doing the test. Also the receptionist Mary-Beth is helpful and courteous. Recommended!

Had rack and pinion worked on. Service was fast and friendly. The car drives well again and I feel safe putting kids behind the wheel. The price for repair was uncomfortable but no shop works for free- comes with the territory of owning a car. I would use them again for the tasks I can’t do at home in a heartbeat.

I have used other car repair shops in the area, but I keep coming back to Parra Car Care NRH because they understand my vehicles and my budget. I gladly drive old cars (1997 sedan and 2002 minivan) without car payments. Parra prudently insists that I need to keep them running safely. However, they are also honest enough to tell me that I dont really need to spend a lot on optional fixes. It is so refreshing to have an honest mechanic shop tell you about optional repairs. (P.S. I usually get around to spending the money at Parra on the optional repairs when the budget allows.)

Great experience - they promptly fixed a problem I had with my A/C. I had also asked them to look at the brakes and they said the pads were fine and did not need to be changed, so they did not try and upsell me unnecessarily.

A hidden gem in North Tarrant. Ive not encountered a more polite and attentive staff at an auto maintenance facility. These folks are honest and their prices are extremely fair, and youll get better service compared to the bigger names and the franchise dealerships. On a recent routine service visit, a problem with an axle was identified on my car, and Ryan discussed with me a more cost efficient way to repair it rather than replace the entire part. I couldnt be more pleased with the service and professionalism. Dont let the modest facade of their repair shop fool you; these guys are trustworthy and knowledgeable.

My 2009 Corolla had a specific problem that four other repair shops had not been able to diagnose. Parras found the problem and fixed my car!

Took our Dodge Sprinter to Goodyear in Hurst because weve been going there for years. It was running sluggish. Their diagnosis - whole turbo had to be replaced $5307. We declined the repair because we werent sure we wanted to put that much money into a 12 year old van.Decided to take it to Parra. Their diagnostic was a single hose losing vacuum to turbo. Turbo checked out good. $537.This will be our go to shop from now on.

The folks at Parra Car Care are great! My cars check engine light was on. They checked it out and explained the problem. My exhaust wasnt exhausting properly. It is either a relay or a part. Since it was not a scheduled appointment, and was, of course, on a Monday, we decided it was best to bring the car back on Wednesday. (This repair is not a life threatening issue.) Shortly thereafter, the light went out! While other repair shops would have fixed the problem anyway, the professionals at Parra Car Care simple explained the relay was probably stuck and seems to be working. Wait until the light comes back on and well look at it again.Once again, they refused to do unnecessary repairs. High integrity!

I had my oil changed at the dealership and woke up the next morning to a large puddle of oil underneath my truck. I didnt have time to go sit at the dealership for hours so I took my truck to Parra. They had the problem fixed in minutes (dealership didnt tighten the oil filter) topped off the oil and sent me on my way. They charged me next to nothing since it was a quick fix. I highly recommend these guys. I wont be taking my truck to the dealership for oil changes again.9/24/21 - I bought a 1980 Toyota pickup to use for the hunting lease. These guys did a thorough inspection of the vehicle and made sure I would be good for the season. They can handle everything I need. I am a loyal customer.
