Today is Sunday. I’m attempting to call in a prescription for a patient. It’s Sunday, which means clinics are closed and MAs are not working. I, the provider, am personally calling in the prescription. I’ve been on hold for more than 37 minutes at this point. The phone has rung 16 times in between hold music, and each time except for once, the answerer put me back on hold without making any inquiries. At about 24 minutes, a pharmacy tech said the pharmacist was administering vaccines and asked whether I wanted to continue to hold or leave a message; she also clarified that she cannot take the prescription. At this point, I do not want to leave a message because I need to make sure the patient receives what she needs in a timely manner. As one who also administered vaccines, I know that it does not take 35 minutes to administer a vaccine. If pharmacists are the only one administering vaccines and able to take prescriptions over the phone and verify press prescriptions, then there should be more than one pharmacist on at a time. To have a provider wait almost 45 minutes to prescribe antibiotics is beyond absurd. If providers wait this long to receive service, I can only imagine what the patients have to go through.
Horrible staffing specifically the pharmacist. They don’t care they’re careless. I came to pick up my medicine no one even ask me how they can help me. Bad service.
GO TAKE YOU COVID TEST SOMEWHERE ELSE ! With an appointment, I still had to wait all most an hour to actually get the vaccine. Im almost certain this is why as many people haven’t gone in to obtain the vaccine. The workers are clearly overwhelmed and the pharmacist moves very slow.
Pt. has pneumonia. The rx was faxed over yesterday ( pharmacy tech confirmed receipt on phone call). No text or other update received, since yesterday, to say rx is ready for pick-up. When you call they deliberately hang up the phone on you. No one acknowledges you on the line. This location is waiting for a lawsuit should anything happen to patients based on other reviews.
I showed up 5 minutes early for my scheduled covid testing appointment and after a 25 minute wait without having been acknowledged someone finally came to the window and asked if I was picking up or dropping off. When I advised I was there for covid testing the woman I was speaking with told me their system was down and I can try coming back in an hour or two. Their system seemed to be working fine when she was under the assumption that I was there for something prescription related. I ask if I can be called back when their system is working and after a short pause she says to be honest we’re just really busy which is basically telling me I wasted my time coming here for what was a scheduled appointment and she’s trying to avoid doing it. Who deals with a customer like that.
DONT USE THEIR PHARMACY!!!!!Three strikes: 1st, after discharge from hospital, the tech wouldnt refill ALL my Rx (some had bad interactions), so she told ME to choose which two I wanted, and gave no advice/feedback, so I had to use google & WebMD. 2nd, I went 3 times to pick up an emergency Rx; first time, they didnt have it, told me it would be in tomorrow morning (spoiler alert, it wasnt)... had to go back 3 times for my meds. 3rd, my Dr called in another emergency Rx, and this time they claim not to have even gotten the call. I AM DONE.
I take my husband to have Covid vaccine. His app was at 11:20, at 12:25 He still having 3 people in front. My advice is Chose another location or go to another place.I take my shot at Walgreens located 5361 Nw 22nd ave and was great! No waiting time to get the shot. After get the shot I wait for 15 minutes and done! The staff there is so kind!

If I can put no star I will my medicine is never ever ready the staff of rude in the pharmacy and don’t even get me started on the phones situation sad they actually put you on hold for hours and then pick up and hangs up idk if it’s a lack of staff not but they have to do better and be better
It seems that this pharmacy is never staffed well unless waiting in the drive through for 20 min is the new norm! Whether you walk in or choose the drive through there is always a wait of 10 min minimum and this is if your medicine is ready :-) Seriously thinking of changing location although this is close and convenient to my house

Does anyone answers/work in this Walgreens location?. The phone rings constantly or when someone picks up they put the phone on hold automatically and dont say plz hold. Im calling for the pharmacy dept. No answer been on hold for 5 hrs,
I agree with most of the reviewers here...this place is horrible. Tried calling to see if my prescriptions were ready....on hold for 1hour and 29 minutes! Then someone picked up the phone and just hung up. Im sure the pharmacy is poorly staffed, and i would NEVER go to walgreens except my insurance dictates it. Never had a problem with CVS. One star is WAY too high.
Pleasant workers throughout the entire store... Mostly. The cosmetic associate was a little impatient but as for the rest they were all happy and polite, often times whistling, and just being overall pleasant. Store had everything needed and seemed to be very well stocked.
They just pissed me off so bad first I’m just trying to pick up money through western union someone had sent me, Walgreens was myb3rd location because everything else is closed. . The cashier tells me the machine is broken and to download the app after complications w the app finally get it to work and when I try to get the 200$ the manager tells me he doesn’t have enough money in the register to give me because they don’t use that register . ? How does a huge cooperation like Walgreens not have enough money does not make sense to me. This location does not care about their customers
Poor customer service. I waited in line for nearly 7 minutes while a employee returned then purchased an item. She asked Jessica the Manager to add points from the purchase to her account. Jessica proceeded.. Are you serious? There were 3 customers waiting behind me? When I informed them that we are waiting Jessica just starred at me. Didnt even apologize. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. She needs to be retrained ASAP! Long story short, I am NEVER shopping at this Walgreens because of how POORLY Jessica handled the situation.
Im paralyzed from the wast down and I cant go to the pharmacy I have to call for scrips I have to wait on the phone for twenty minutes while I hear one of the phamasices pick up the phone and put me on hold for the hold twenty minutes then eventually I get huge up on I tell the manager about it and they get vary rud this store should be checked into by administration
This is the worst pharmacy I have had to deal with. I have picked up prescriptions here for a few years. They are usually understaffed and have never once answered the phone. Not once that phone had been answered when I have called (at least 20 times within a year) which means when I need to do something I can do over the phone (ie:update insurance or ask why a prescription is delayed) I have to go wait a long time in person. Moving my business elsewhere.
This place is absolutely the worst ever i dont even know why it still open walgreens should just take a lost a close this location. Just flattened it down matter fact

Today I was about to buy candy for the children in walgreens when I park and I remember that I had to take cash at the bank in front when I am ready to go. But on the way back I realize that I had towed the car thanks to the manager of this walgreens my kids ran out of candy because the crane cost me $ 100 ... Thanks Walgreens Happy Hallowen

Tonight, I went to pick up a prescription, when I get there I was told that they dont take Humana. Ok, I understand... not to mention before I get there I was trying to reach the pharmacy for 30 mns. They didnt pick up the phone, I had to ask to speak to a manager to actually see when the prescription was ready. Then, they sent me to CVS accros the street for transfer, when I get there, they told me that it will take up to 48hrs. I explained to them that, my mom needed the medication its an emergency. They told me, Im sorry, but they dont really pick up the phone. We have to speak to someone. Weve been calling for other patient... I couldnt believe it, after they sent me to do a transfer they wont even pick up the phone. So I called asking for the manager (she was very helpful), explained to her the situation, she said, Ill transfer you and make sure they pick up. They still didnt, so I had to go back there to ask why would you make me go there and you know you werent going to pick up... The tech told me they are very busy, no help... No excuses for not picking up your phone, specially when I told her I was going to do the transfer. And I found out, they couldve just pick up the phone and call to make the process faster. VERY BAD SERVICE, dont go there.

Been having the worst experience on Store #3527 (125th st. 5th Av). Refill posted on 3/28 to get it by the ..30th. Getting just partials.. Supposed to get the difference today on 4/04 and just get another partial for only one day. Supposedly getting the rest tomorrow (4/05) Let see..

Terrible place all the time I call the pharmacy I have to way a long time some time I dont get to speak with nobody, I call today again for a question on a prescription and after 28 minutes on hold she answer and when I asked her the question her answer was I have a line right now call back in 30 minutes😣 I tell her what I being on hold for almost 30 minutes and you are telling me that I cant be help because am not present, her answer was I am by my self I can only do so much...Terrible place the drive thru is slow also they dont even said one second please is like they ignore you👎
