Didnt listen to the problem I had and said the car was making noise and shaking that I never noticed, still dont. Would not recommend since they didnt take the time to listen to my concerns and what I wanted the to look at. They might be a great shop but not this time. Sorry. Addition on 8/6/2021 in response to owners comment. We did stop by, who ever did the inspection said the car was vibrating so bad when stepping on brakes and that all the brakes and rotors needed replaced. The car was on the rack with the tires off. It would cost over $600 for them to do it. Pepboys couldnt find anything wrong with it and finally the last place we took it too said it just needed the brakes bleed after finding a leak and fixing it. Brake pads and rotors were fine. No problems since. Positive point was Joes Garage did not charge for the inspection. We did stop by without a appointment. Like I said, Joes Garage might be a good repair shop. Just not this time for us. And we saved from spending $600 dollars and not fixing the problem. Agree to disagree

Just moved to Arkansas a few months ago. And my manager gave me his machanic number in which is Joes Garage about issues concerning my alternator. Set an appointment and a next couple of days later, Im around professional and honest people who has great quality experience and customer service. They checked into it and come to find out it wasnt my alternator but I needed new battery cables. Todays time its hard to find honest people who do quality work. If I had to live back in New York again, I would literally pay to ship my vehicle back-and- forth to Arkansas to Joes Garage every time I have a vehicle problem. They are that Great!!!! Spend your hard earned money with quality and honest and 15+ years of experience friendly people at Joes Garage. Quality work at its Best!!!

Fixed my car.Alternator went out, Devin (maybe Dennis lol) was the mechanic I had the pleasure of doing business with, he fixed the alternator and also brought up the fact that my radiator was cracked which I knew but Im impressed he brought it up, he fixed the radiator as well as fixed my air conditioning fan relay which I believe went out due to the alternator.It was all at a very reasonable price however I do not like the fact that my car sat there for 10 days before they even looked at it. However once they begin working on it they got it completed very quickly and I have not had any issues so far.I know stuff happens but if Joes garage can figure out a way to get my car in quicker it would raise my four star to a five star.Got recommended to them by the mechanic I use, and the poor dude help me find my new mechanic lol! You guys just got a new customer.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Joes Garage! We were traveling through the area and started having trouble with our car in route. They diagnosed the problem quickly and hustled to get us back on the road fast. It was a bad wheel bearing and would have been really bad if it had given out on the road. But thanks to Joes we made it home safe and only a few hours late!

They did an engine rebuild on my H2 Hummer. It was a 6.0 Vortec gas engine.. This thing runs like a dream. I will always use them for every vehicle I own.. The price was Very Good!!! They kept in contact with me the entire time.. LOVE THIS PLACE>> THANKS JOE!!!!

Joe and his daughter Stephanie could not have been nicer! I was travelling through Arkansas from out of state and my vehicle broke down. I consider myself so lucky to have found them. They both did everything in their power to get me back on the road. As soon as the tow truck dropped off my vehicle at their shop, Joe was outside checking for error codes. It turned out my transmission was shot, so they were unable to provide a fix. Yet, they promptly put me in touch with a local transmission shop and told them of my situation. They even offered to take me to the airport to catch a flight home while my transmission was being replaced if I was unable to find a ride! I will remember the kindness they showed me for the rest of my days.

I was there to schedule an appointment to fix the headlights on my car. I had been asking around for an honest mechanic that wouldnt overcharge me. Someone from my church mentioned Joes Garage. He said they service vehicles from my church. So, if my church trusts them, then I do too. Also, there was a beautiful Viper car sitting in Joes parking lot waiting to be serviced. So, if the owner of that beautiful Viper trusts these people, then so do I.

Joe’s Garage is hard to top. I have travelled many miles and used numerous mechanic services, but their quality, professionalism, and speed, are unequaled.

Horrible place. Terrible people. Took vehicle in and we agreed on a price to fix intake gasket. Which was a 4 hour labor listed job. A WEEK LATER! They call me and say that the price is double. When asked why they said oh we replaced the timing cover gasket because we wanted to make sure the leak was gone. So they decided to just do that without calling me and asking me if it’s ok and that is unacceptable. The lady at the actually tried to argue this with me and doesn’t understand what malpractice is when it comes to doing things when they are not told. Kind of like a toddler. If there were less than zero stars I would give them that. Bottom line is if you need auto work done on a vehicle, you would be better off driving your car off a cliff or lighting it on fire than to trust these thieves.

Fixed a transaxle leak for me. Got my car in and out in half a day compared to my old mechanic which wouldve typically taken atleast 1 day (next day) before I could pick it up. Also, reasonably priced!

The Joes Garage team also serviced all fluids, checked brake pads, tire depth.Great service from a knowledgeable and friendly staff. In and Out under an hour om a very busy Tuesday . These guys are great....I’m from the Indianapolis, Indiana area. I dropped a trailer off at the Camping World in North Little Rock and as a pulled away from the dealership my truck broke in a bad way. I had it towed to Joe’s Garage on a recommendation from the local Dodge dealership. I was very leery being 600 miles from home and having someone I didn’t know at all working on my vehicle. I even gave them a bit of a hard time initially and was going to have my truck hauled back to Indiana for repairs. I’m glad I left it with them. They were able to diagnose the issue and give me an estimate and when it was all finished it came in a touch under. I flew in to North Little Rock this morning and picked up my truck and just got home from the 600 mile drive. It ran great. If I was a resident near that area they would be the mechanic shop of my choice. Thank you guys for your hard work getting me going.

My cars under flap had been damaged on a tow truck and I didnt notice until I was on the freeway. It was dragging on the freeway while the wind was catching the front-end of my car. I saw Joes Garage right off the freeway which was the next exit over from where I just came from. I pulled in and Mr. Joe himself saw me on the ground trying to fix the flap by tucking in the bumper and maybe I could get home until I got it fixed. Mr. Joe approached me and just said stop, lol, Ill fix it. I told him if he could just help me do it this way it will be fine, he insisted and said stop we will fix it. I was like ok, thinking 😬 I only have a few bucks in cash but Ill pay whatever to fix this. He had a young man come get my car and lifted to fix it, took less than 10 minutes. The young man once finished handed me my keys and said have a great day. Mr. Joe is approaching me and I immediately asked what I owe? He simply handed me his business card and asked for a review. Everything i just went through with my car and getting it back from a repossession due to losing my job because of covid and filing bankruptcy to get it back in that condition it was upsetting 😔 and another worry that Mr. Joe took off of my back FOR FREE. Thank you Mr. Joe, you gained my review and my future business. Your extended hospitality is just what we need in todays world.

There is no such thing as cheap car repair. This place is no different, but, I would say that I have gotten my moneys worth each time I have been there. Ive probably made 20 visits with 6 or 8 different vehicles. Expensive each time, but by golly, it was fixed, which is what I wanted. Ill give them 4 stars and recommend them to my friends.

Joes Garage is one of those mechanics that once you have dealt with them on a regular basis you find they always find the lowest cost fix for your car. They give you all the straight facts and have never tried to milk an extra job. They are very knowledgeable and can replace an entire engine. Stephenie is also very adept at her job. I have used Joes a number of times over the last 8 years. I first heard of them on the Dave Elswick show back then. As a skilled trade professional, i well understand you get what you pay for. While they arent the cheapest, when it comes to todays highly technological vehicles, you really cant afford to rely on the old shade tree guys. The technicians at Joes are constantly putting in classroom time to stay up to date on what it takes to accurately service modern vehicles. You can compare these professionals to nurses who have to take continuing education courses in order to offer the best care. Joes does just the same except they are offering the best care for the investment we rely on on a daily basis to get from point A to point B. Again today, I had to call on their services. I want to give a big shout out to Mike who accurately diagnosed my problem in a short amount of time and had me back on the road quickly. My busy schedule only afforded a small window of opportunity to correct the problem. With proper planning, this shop was able to schedule an appointment and get me taken care in a very timely manner. Do not waste your time!!This guy was an absolute jerk. No customer service skills at all.Let me give you the scoop.First I am an accomplished mechanic.I have a 2009 Honda Fit, the last owner had put new tires on and the shop that did thework ( not Joes) cross threaded the lugs. as I drove the car the wheel started to make noise.I jacked up the car and the wheel was loose so i tried to tighten it up and all four studs broke.The only option I had at this point is to replace the studs, to do that I have to press the wheel bearing out. I do not have a 6 ton press to do this.So i called Joes Garage to see if they can press the wheel bearing out and replace the studs.He jumps my case and said I will not touch anything that you have taken apartwith some other words that are not nice and not welcoming.I understand that for insurance reasons some will not do work of this nature.The way he handled the situation was uncalled for and out right wrong!I being in a customer service type job, can not possibly talk to a person ( let alone a customer) in that manner.So if you want to be talked to like something he just stepped in, go ahead and give him a call.

This is a family owned business based on honesty and family values. They can fix almost anything on a car. The prices are fair and when they give you an estimate for the potential cost they will be scary close to what the repair bill comes out to. They have always been the shop to fix my vehicles and my family wont take our cars anywhere else.

I have used joes garage in the past for my wifes vehicle and was pleased with the service we received. However, I did not have to deal with Joe himself. I called this morning to see if they would work on my vehicle that has an extended warranty. I was directed to Joe who would have to figure out if they would work on it or not. I have never been spoken to so rudely or condescendingly in my life. If I could give zero stars I would. That was absolutely ridiculous for someone that runs a service business.

Wouldnt trust anyone else with my vehicle! They really go the extra mile to help you. They are honest about repair costs and will let you know exactly what you need to get your vehicle back on the road. Repairs are never cheap but it sure beats tens of thousands on a new vehicle.

I took my car in because I had steam coming out of the vents and defroster. A friend told me it was probably the heater core leaking which is what I told the lady at the desk when I dropped it off. But Joe checked it out and told me I didnt have a problem. He could have replaced it and charged me an arm and a leg and i would have been none to wiser. He was honest and didnt charge me a dime to evaluate it. We need more Honest businesses like this.

The first time I took my Jeep to Joe’s Garage, I was impressed. Joe found out what was wrong with my Jeep after spending over $700 at another place on a part that never needed replacing. He fixed it for about $76 and I got my money back from that other place. Grateful to Joe, and feeling like I had finally found an honest, hard-working mechanic’s shop that didn’t treat customers badly like those other high profile places *coughFirestonecough* I was ready and willing to take my Jeep (and my husbands car) to Joe’s again for future repairs. Well, you know that saying about something being too good to be true? This is one of those cases. Took my husband’s Mustang to find out what a hard knocking noise was when braking, but Joe could only come up with that it was “probably” a water bottle in the back floorboard hitting a baseball bat (??). Obviously, that was not the issue. We knew that before we took the bat and bottle out, but Joe could never figure out what it was. We had some other work done on the car that required the tires be taken off, found out some time later that they didn’t even tighten the lug nuts back after putting the tires on. Not to mention, they never fixed the knocking problem when braking. Also, he spoke to my husband condescendingly when my husband tried to explain about the noise. Still not ready to give up on Joe’s Garage, I recently took my Jeep in to find out why it was having such a tough time going uphill and why it wouldn’t “kick in” even on level roads. They kept my Jeep over 24 hours and I had to call to find out what was going on (they like to keep your car for days without telling you anything or asking if it’s ok they do), only for them to tell me they couldn’t find anything wrong with it, said the diagnostic didn’t yield any results. They even went so far as to tell me they drove it and couldn’t duplicate the problem. So, basically, because the diagnostic didn’t tell them there was something wrong, they gave up and said “there’s nothing wrong with it; it has good power”, etc. WRONG. I took the jeep to 3 other places after that (only to run into more lazy mechanics that only rely on diagnostics anymore) until finally, after 2 weeks, found out my throttle body was bad. Replaced it (at another shop, of course) and the problem is gone. I’d like to mention too that the last few times I’ve spoken to Joe on the phone, he just acts like he doesn’t have time to talk to me. Subtly rude. I will not be going back there.

Joes Garage is the most knowledgeable, honest, and fair auto service business I have ever dealt with. I have used their services several times in the last few years, and Im always glad I know who they are after the job is done. I couldnt be happier with how they treated me and the quality of work.

I was told elsewhere that my Escalade needed thousands of dollars in repairs but Joe listened to my description of the problem and told me about a technical service bulletin that detailed an inexpensive fix. I dropped my vehicle after hours and it was ready the next afternoon. I could not be more pleased.

Several years ago we were having a problem with one of our cars. We didnt know about Joes so we took it some where else. They told us it was going to cost 1600.00 to repair it. My husband is military and he asked some of the people he works with for recommendations. Joes Gargage came up. We took him the car. All it needed was a new back tire. Since then he has worked on all of our cars. Recently he even told my husband what was wrong with our trucks air conditioner and he didnt even charge us for it. If you need an honest mechanic who will not rip you off then go to Joes! We have reccommended them several times and now our whole family uses them.

Absolutely horrible. They have had my car for 10 days so far and havent even looked at it yet. When I called to follow up Joe came up with bizarre excuses that were clearly lies. He had simply forgotten about my car. And when I asked when I could expect them to look at it Joe was very rude about committing to a day or time.**Update** Joe called me and instead of giving me any update on my car, he began verbally berating me over the phone. He said good luck finding someone to fix your car which was odd since I fix my own car often, but I guess he assumes women dont know anything about cars. When I went to pick it up it was filthy, I have never picked up a car in worse condition than when I dropped it off, I dont know what he did to get it so dirty. I have since taken it to Volo Automotive and they have been wonderful, communicative and sympathetic to the type of treatment I received.

This is absolutely the worst place I have ever done business with. Everyone was cranky and on a short fuse. After I told them the patch they put on my tire didnt last an hour they made an excuse about how it wasnt their fault. They sure didnt have a problem taking my money though. Completely unsatisfactory. Do not go here.

Poor customer service from the owner! Do not ask him a question...he will get defensive and chew you smooth out. He will not put forth any effort to try and help you resolve an issue. Unprofessional. Will not be going back, EVER!

I will never, ever, EVER use this company again and I highly recommend you dont either. Zero communication, zero promises kept, and zero sincere apologies. I was told my car would be done the same day (despite dropping it off at 1 pm and despite telling them nobody had the parts in stock), in fact Joe was adament that he could find the parts the same day. I did not get a call with an estimate until the following day at 8:30 am. I gave them the go-ahead at that point. Nobody called me for the next two days. When I called to inquire, I was told they were waiting on additional parts that werent originally quoted and nobody ever called to tell me about. I was told said parts would be in at noon that day. At 2 pm the next day I called to inquire of status AGAIN, and I was told that the parts wouldnt be in until noon the following day. At this point Im so completely frustrated that I lose my cool. I was told the parts were in St. Louis, however when I checked my OWN account on each of the parts sites, I saw that they were in stock in Memphis, which is an overnight (with early a.m. delivery) process. Joe treats customers with so much disrespect and flippancy that its a wonder he has any to begin with. I shouldve listened to my gut when he was less than professional from the very beginning. Will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

I had a horrible experience at Joes Garage and I will never bring my business there again. The mechanic did $300 worth of work on my vehicle without letting me know first. When I went in to speak with Joe he became defensive immediately; yelling and accusing me of wanting free work. The man wouldnt let me get in a word and treated me with disrespect the entire time. Ive never seen such bad customer service. He finally apologized for making me cry in the store, but never for buying parts and doing work on my vehicle without my consent.

Thank you so much joes garage, I hit something on freeway n didnt realize the damage it had caused to one of my tires. And still 30-35 miles to get home w my toddler in the back seat n the warning light saying I had only 15lbs of pressure in the tire, I felt it would be too dangerous to try and make it back home without stopping. I was at Crystalhill exit and had no idea where to start or which way to go to get help. When I stopped to ask someone where I should go to get a tire fixed I was directed to Joes garage . I showed up at the garage after hours while they were trying to leave to get to A funeral service. Which I had no idea that they were leaving to go to, cause they didnt mention this apon my arrival, to try to rush me away like the majority of companies would do instead of locking the doors and sending me on my way, Joe invited me inside and asked what the problem was he pulled my car around found the issue seen that it could not be fixed and we decided the best thing to do at that moment was to put the spare on. Because of the brand of tire that I have on the car and it being after 6 oclock theres nowhere I could have gotten an identical tire. So after all of this trouble and time this was taking away from him getting to The service that they were headed to I asked him how much he needed for the work and he refused to take payment, i insisted that he charge me for his time and work and he simply would not take my money. Joe thank you so much for your help n sorry for any inconvenience, n thank you for not locking me out and telling me that yall were closed because really thats what I was expecting yall to come out and tell me . Yall r awesome, if Im ever up this way and need assistance again I wont have to ask anyone where to go. This will be the only place that I will go.

Spoke with Joe regarding my vehicles A/C on the phone & decided to swing by and let him take a look after having received a quote from the local dealerships service dept., Steve Landers Toyota. I even showed their quote to Joe. The dealership recommended having $600 worth of parts replaced & wanted $1200 for labor costs... had 2 other jobs just like mine being repaired that day. I feel bad for them, because Joe & staff found a tiny valve stem (my own terms) that was causing the freon to leak. No need to replace O Rings, the Dryer, Evap Assembly or Condenser.All told, Joes Garage charged me $140.61 to fix my vehicles air conditioner. Goes without saying, but the $1,860.84 that Steve Landers Toyota wanted to bill me is insulting and Ill gladly give Joes Garage my business and refer him to anyone and everyone that will listen.
