This place has a lot of parts in stock one of the few larger stocking warehouses and the Charleston area.. Also a range of high performance parts, exhaust, fuels, however I think this place could benefit from more dedicated telephone operators...

Best part store Ive had the pleasure of shopping at. 1 employee named Rusty.went above and beyond normal service when I orders a coolant tank for my car I gave the wrong engine size so my part was wrong he got up early and called another store and they couldnt locate the one they thought they had so he called myrtle beach found my part and I got it so thank you all at parks parts.

By far the best parts house in Charleston. Huge warehouse on Rivers has almost everything Ive ever needed to repair my vehicles. Knowledgeable staff can actually cross reference and look things up in physical book if needed. Open until 11pm because they are awesome and on top of all that, the prices are right.

I love how they stay open late and always have what youre looking for and usually for the best price in comparison to other auto part retailers.

I guess Ill be nice and give 2 stars. The Summerville store sent me 25 minutes down the road to the North Charleston location. After waiting in line for 17 minutes, the guy at the counter told me that he didnt have the part that the person at the Summerville location said they had. Im over this place.

Went here late in the evening. I like that they’re open late but won’t be going back. They seem to have great knowledge about the parts, but when I have to repeat everything to you 3 or 4 times because you’re more focused on your personal conversations and you talk to me like an idiot from the time I walk in, we have a serious problem.

I was able to get a replacement part for my vehicle and some cleaning supplies for little or nothing.

They have lots of stuff for old cars as well as new. I love that you can find stuff here that other part stores have to order. The downfall is that if you need to return a part, they charge you a restocking fee. I try to avoid if I can since I sometimes do need to return parts and refuse to pay for someone to walk 2 feet and put something back on the shelf.

So I bought a radiator in March for my 01 Jeep Cherokee and the side take blew out Friday when I got home, so I took the radiator back to parks where Michael the manager told me that the radiator on file that I bought was for an 01 Jeep Grand Cherokee now I told him that someone must have rang it up wrong but instead of fixing the stores mistake he told me they dont make mistakes and that its been 9 months they dont know what WE did but it looks like we are trying to scam them? So my point is its kinda funny that in the system the radiator they sold me was for a grand Cherokee and I own a normal Cherokee? Still waiting for the district manager to contact me but at this point the way they treated my father in law and i, I wouldnt buy an air freshener from them, if the DM reads this please look up my account and contact me I would love to go into detail on more what your store manager said to Me THANK

I was very pleased with the customer service at parks I received some very good service from them. I was very pleased with the service that he can gave me Michael and also Tim. I came in with the needs of a parts of transmission and also what would be the best resources for oil changes in my car which is over 20 years old. I hope to continue with parts for they have been at leader in most of my needs and my car and upkeep of my vehicles. I have been going to Parks for 18 years. Back then everything was old school they used catalogs to look up parts, and the staff was very knowledgeable. Now in the past couple of years they have modernized everything, and the old staff has been replaced with clueless idiots. This is the exact reason I avoid auto zone and oreillys, but Parks seem to be turning into them. I will still always go to them cause there prices are reasonable, and I like supporting a local business.

Rude customer service on the night of 3/72020. i went into the store to buy and started for my vehicle and they sold me a alternator. both me and my friend said what i needed. come home and open the box to find the wrong part and called to explain. the guy who answered was rude and said i needed to go to the store and fix it because it was my fault. no apology for the inconvenience they caused.

This is probably where your mechanic shops when he fixes your car. Yes, the guys looking up and pulling your parts are probably not going to win any personality contests. If you want that go elsewhere. These guys use a combination of computer and book to find the proper part, assuming that they are given the correct information to begin with. Ive had MUCH better luck getting the right part for my vehicles here than elsewhere.

If the right part is important to you, use Parks first. Me I learned the hard way. But thankfully Parks professionals helped me find the right part for my 1976 Cadillac. Not only that they delivered to to the shop that was working on my car. Honestly without the Pros at Parks, I dont know what I would have done. I tried the local Cadillac Dealer they were no help however, the knew enough to recommend I call Parks.

I think they should be more careful about putting their fingers inside the cups while moving them around. They touch money and credit cards and the current conditions should be more deligent in keeping the spread of viruses to a minimum.

I called to inquire about ordering a part, was on hold 20 mins. Hung up and decided to go to the store. Guy was friendly and helped with ordering my part. Picked up part and realized once home that it was not the correct part for my model car. Took part back and was shorted 77 dollars from what I originally paid. I was not told I dont get my shipping back and that they charge an additional 10 handling fee for returned ordered items. Guy tried to argue that it was correct part, even though I pulled up the correct part on the dealers website. Very rude and unprofessional. You ordered the wrong part and I had to pay for your mistake! I WILL NOT order from there again and DO NOT recommend using them to order parts.

Bough a part from them that sum one else already opend and found out the part the part was bad and cause it was bought last month and it was plugged in they will not return the part and when it was bough they told me any problems just bring it back now they dont want it back cause its been plugged in. I love how they sale junk better off at a junk yard I threw it away i will go other place that stand behind there word. I was told by the guy that sold it to me if i had a problem. Bring it back. I would get my money back

You will not receive passable, timely service unless you are a long standing customer, which I am not. There is no greeting at the door, the parts pullers act like pulling parts is huge hassle, and dont expect any courtesy when you pay either. If you want friendly service, go see the Assistant Manager down the road at OReillys. Sure you may pay a little more, but you will at least get treated like a person.
