Excellent location, convenient access to highways, clean, secure and safe. Staff was very responsive and highly professional from day 1 to end of storage contract. Ms. Gomez went above and beyond and I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for storing their personal items. Been with GoodFriend Storage for years! Always responsive with questions and concerns and they email out alerts about holiday access hours every season. Denise is THE BEST! She helped me figure out the right size unit and even downsized to a cheaper one when she realized I didn’t need all my original space after my first year. Very clean, very safe. Easy access to the facility. I will miss them now that we are moving out of the area. Highly recommended!!!

Hands down the best storage in NY/NJ! I did a ton of research before picking this place to store my things when I moved out of my studio in Manhattan to work from home in DC for half a year given COVID.All the other storage companies I researched had scary reviews about shady management, contracts with loopholes, hidden fees and bug infestations. At Goodfriend, I experienced only the utmost kindness, great service and communication and a top notch facility. I’ve been recommending all my friends to join me and when one of them did, Goodfriend automatically credited my account the $25 referral bonus even though I never reminded them/asked about it.I moved out this past weekend because I decided to live in DC permanently and moving out was a breeze. They don’t try to keep you with crazy notice requirements or anything like that - just a 7 day notice and you’re out.They’re located just across the Hudson river - Manhattan people, don’t pay ridiculous monthly NYC storage fees just to have your stuff sit in a room for months at a time.

Honestly, I am very surprised and pleased with the storage. Had a misunderstanding from the call-center vs the in store information. Call center give me the right info but not specified with a deadline or so. However their district manager (I think) Geo, personally called me, give me the same info but specify it. So call the store for clear everything, even after the call center, all nice people but Geo personalized the customer service I received.I love that the store is always super clean. Storage sometimes have that smell of everything is packed together, and when you take your stuff out, it smells like the storage. Well, I love that this storage smells really nice, breathable nice. Nothing sticky and etc. the storage spaces itself is A++++, and now customer service is beyond A++++ for me.* Their promotion price was awesome, I would recommend it.

I have been with good friend for about a year now, and it is great. The facility is super clean and is very comfortable to unload your stuff. Has sufficient parking to allow many people to come at once. The front desk is very nice, Denise who is always there when I go is a pleasure to see. Dear Sirs:During this Covid-19 crisis our business has been seriously injured and that led to fall behind in our payments for your storage at the North Bergen, NJ location. I was very upset to have been penalized with a $20 late fee considering I have been a costumer since you first opened . I wrote a comment on your payment site complaining about this. Denises called me right away to calm me down and let me know that that fee will not happen again if I called on time to advise her that I was having trouble. She was very polite and explicit about the guidelines.I have to compliment the way she handled my complain and at the same time she was protecting your interest.Denise has proven to be a great human being and the perfect asset for your location and your public relations. They are fine for short term storage but if you are planning to stay more than 6 months, I would not recommend. They raise their rents consistently and not by SMALL amounts.EDIT: After calling and pointing out that I have been a customer for 2 years they kept my rate at the same. I would advise other long term customers to do the same thing.

Poor Costumer service !! Im been almost a week to finally spoke to the manager that even tell to the customer his name !! In the middle of a Pandemic i called to change the amount of insurance and was accepted . After call to make the payment because i was whiteout my card, they refuse the apply the new prices and also refuse to accept the payment for the July !!! The manager is rude and a liar that have the nerve to tell in my face that i didt spoke to him . I work in a Storage and i know the polices and specially about how process payments . I DONT RECOMMEND !! NEVER AGAIN !!!

The people that work there are great but our unit is overrun by field mice. After our 1st year our rent was raised by nearly $23.00.... do not recommend for long term storage

From the moment I entered their office to the day I moved my items out of storage, I felt I had made a real friend with all the staff. I had a good feeling that my property was secure. This storage was well lit and they were sooooo helpful right from the start to finish. I almost wish I could have kept more items in storage just to have a reason to stop in and say hello.They showed concern for my property, they were very professional and this storage company was immaculate. Yet they offered more. A great positive attitude, friendly and courteous and sincere service.If you are looking for a GOOD place to store your personal belongings, this is where to do it. Great facility, friendly and accommodating staff, really the most affordable and highest quality service in the area.For myself, a Manhattan west sider, this location is perfect, 15 minutes from home.The facility is clean, secure (temperature controlled and security cameras everywhere), and access is easy (big parking lot) and also incredibly secure (key codes required at every door and elevator).Would highly recommend this to manhattanites and folks in the area.

Denise was fabulous, like working with your mom. I felt so comfortable from walking in finding out information about the place to moving in with my movers- she did her best to make it as quick and easy as possible for me.

I am relocatingThe due date of my unit was on the 1st of Jan...The space has a few boxes left in it... and I was forced to pay 160.00 for the month..before getting access to my unitI only need 1 week of the month...I was told rudely that there is no pro-rate or refunds...... and wouldn’t give me a number to her corporate officeAfter 2yrs...at 160 per month...customer respect and courtesy are in order...I want a response from a person with the authority to refund me the difference of 3 weeks....or I’ll call Chanel 7 -better get vicaro...That’s illegal...The storage at Zerega Avenue...has my contact infoI’m sure you will correct this injustice...And re-educate your clerks...I await your prompt response... thank youRETRACTIONI’m adding a retraction to this review...My computer knowledge is limited.. so I sent the My retraction under an example name of Emma Rodriguez...Smart guy ... huh?!Well...After this horrible review...
