Excellent service and repair work! They explained the issue I was having fully to me and gave me options on how it could be repaired. They did a great job replacing my alternator and got my car back quicker than expected. I will be using them again, if needed.

I contacted R&J during the Christmas holidays (23 December 2020) because of a noise under my car hood. The mechanic that l had used for over 20 years had to closed permanently, due to virus 19. I wanted to find a new mechanic near my home so l started looking in the Norman area. I called a couple of shops before reaching Jeff at R&J. Jeff was so pleasant and kind on the phone l had to give him a chance and lm so happy I did!!! I had the car towed to R&J and they immediately checked it and notified me of the findings with a cost estimate, had the work done. R&J did the repairs in a very timely manner. When picking up the vehicle l found they took extremely good care of my vehicle. As a female, l must say l left with my car very happy and not feeling like l had been ripped off. I plan to continue to go to R&J for all my future car needs and HIGHLYRECOMMEND R&J for your car repairs. THANK YOU VERY MUCH JEFF, you are top notch guy. Jeff and Bruce provided awesome service! Diagnosed the problem in the morning and fixed in the afternoon. I drive an old Toyota that has seen many years, and I have taken her to R &J twice over the last four years. They have always provided good service at reasonable rates. Just today, my alternator needed to be replaced (reasonable after 21 years) and R &J had it completed in less than 3 hours. I would highly recommend this place for your automotive repair needs.

This is our mechanic now and forever. I can do most common stuff but when I need something more intricate done this guy is my go to!!! He took care of my wifes and my AC and even helped is get some damage taken care of that wasnt fixed by the insurance people. Great place!!!

I love this shop! I moved back to Norman 4 years ago and was very excited and relieved that this shop was still here and with solid clientele. They have serviced every single car that I have driven in the last 10 years and I have yet to be in any way disappointed. Everything is fair here; you will never feel like you are being taken advantage of or mistreated. I am treated with respect and often am educated on what is going on, specifically, which is SUPER cool! I really love that the answer is always spot on and I get to have a well serviced car each time I drive away. My children are treated like family; they are allowed to play the slot machine that has so many years on it and we have nothing but laughs! Took my son’s 79 f150 truck in for front end work and possibly alignment. After a diagnosis and a list of parts needed an an option to buy myself or have him order was given, I felt very comfortable moving forward with the repair, all that went well! I picked truck up and drove it home and decided before I let my son drive it and it sitting for awhile I would drive it for a few days and make sure everything was good. Glad I did! Hit a bump in the road on Robinson and the truck went into what I refer as “the death wobble “ we have owned this truck for over 6 years and have never had this problem. My logic was had to be related to front end work and glad my son wasn’t driving. Called and explained what took place and got an unexpected response, started telling me about bushings that could be worn or steering stabilizer that probably has failed, all of these may be true but not the time to tell me this over the phone. One I just told you I was glad my son wasn’t driving and 2nd I just spent over $2000 with you. Your 1st response should be bring it back in here ASAP and let us look at it and see what’s going on. Not the time to defend your work, time to show you care. Dropped truck off and same again bushings, stabilizer....... dropped off late in afternoon and truck was ready early next morning. Got a text by the way very nice feature, your truck is ready. This conversation started off with I can not confirm or deny we left or they came loose the bolts on the arms. Just not my way of handling things. If you messed up just look me in the eye and tell me sorry about that, glad everyone is good? And we have you all taken care of and I would respect that vs what I got! I kinda understand the logic with this sue everyone for every damn thing world we live in! CYA world! I waited a week to write this as I was more upset at the time and had time to think about it. To sum it up the work was great, the communication about the progress was great. The handling of the mess up is my only issue with this garage.

The mechanic Rick was really helpful. He was respectful of my time and of my situation. After he diagnosed my car problem he called to let me know exactly what was wrong with it and how much is was going to cost, without the forcefull and frightening experience that other mechanics use to scare you to fix your car. I recommend that you give them a try, and also they have the lowest diagnostic fee and thats always a plus especially when you are on a shoestring budget. I will go back to them for my future car mechanical issues.

Was suggested this place by a friend who has been in Norman his whole life. Said they are honest and fair. He was right. He took care of my wifes car and did it as cost efficient as he could.

I wouldnt recommend anybody to go there. these people who run this shop r thiefs.I installed new radio to my car n misplug some cable cuz of tht my cars tail light stop working. So, I took my car there n they said it will $140 to fix it I knew what the problem was. So i took my car to some other place i think its called k&s auto shop its on north flood ave the owner of the place knew what was wrong with my car it took him less then a minute to fix it n he didnt even charge me anything.This people from R&J were trying to pull money out of my pocket for no reason.
