I went to choose a deck stain/paint for a project I was doing and Wes was a huge help. He knew exactly what product I needed to use for my project. Wes was friendly, helpful, professional and has a great personality. I will definitely go back when I need painting supplies because he was so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. To the owner, you certainly have a phenomenal employee on your hands with this guy. Make sure youre paying that man what hes worth! Deck turned out amazing with the SuperDeck solid stain Wes recommended to me.

After the incredible customer service I received today, led by employee of the century John, I will never get paint anywhere else! He made sure the paint matched the samples I brought in, and helped me avoid buying the wrong painting supplies for my project. If every company treated customers like this, the world would be a better place!

Great customer service. Rachel and Zach are just super. Rachel has a wonderful way about helping you pick the color. She asks questions about the room and what you wish for the room to feel like. I knew very little about what I wanted when I came in other than I need to paint and the professional working there named Wes who happened to be the only employee who showed up today took care of me above the Call of Duty and gave me more information than I could have ever hoped for. he was busy doing something else and took the time without an attitude to educate me for that I am highly thankful and I will continue to do business with Sherwin Williams for life because of Wes. Great service from the older gentleman in the store. Fantastic advice. And fantastic paint choice and coverage. This is the first time i have bought paint outside of Behr from Home Depot, i am amazed by the difference and am actually looking forward to painting others rooms in my home.

Walked up to a locked door and was turned away by an employee Due to their system being down We are in town doing work at ODU and issues like this cost us time and money.

Ive been using SW paints forever, but recently theyve changed formulas an the paint doesnt cover anything.

They are great and always try to sell you the best product for the job!

Customer service at its worst! There was one customer in the store and two employees. I came in and stood at the counter for 30 minutes without anyone greeting me or asking me if they could help. When I finally, frustratedly asked if anyone was going to be able to help they said I should go somewhere else. I asked if there was a manager and the employee said he was the boss. I doubt that, but if its true S.W. needs to fire this guy. Shockingly poor treatment. From other reviews of this location, poor customer service seems to be a common trend.

This store gets it! Their customer service is impeccable. I came in here, trying to find a Tiffany Blue color that matched the new colors Im putting in my office, but I did not have a sample with me. Domonique took the time to go through color swatches with me and helped me find the closest color. She even helped me save money while doing so, figuring that since Im only painting one object, to get me the smallest size possible. I bought a brush, some blue painters tape, and the paint and only paid $15. You cant beat it! I quickly figured out that I got the wrong color, so I came back the next day (this time with a sample), and Amy helped me adjust the color to my desired color FREE of charge. I love this place, and will continue to go here for my future DIY projects (I anticipate a few more).

Great place to buy paint if you have a coupon. Staff is very helpful but you might have to wait depending on the time of day and how busy they are.
