Ive been using this shop for almost 10 years. I have found them to be fairly priced and honest.Ive switched cars while using this shop, have ended up having a/c fail in both cars--one was the dreaded a/c black death! Have also had engine mounts replaced, sway bar links, bunch of other stuff. The owner was good about communication and was very transparent about costs and time estimates. It stinks to need expensive repairs on your car, but I havent ever felt taken advantage of or gouged. I have compared prices, this shop is fair. The location is tricky to access during busy times of day. The shop is popular, so it can be quite busy in the parking lot. To me, its worth it for the location and having trust.

This has been my neighborhood shop for as long as Ive been able to drive, almost 10 years, they are speedy and will do everything in their power to get you the best price. They also have two dogs who always greet you.

Professional service! It may not come off as the warmest welcome at first, but this team is direct and wont BS you. I prefer THAT over a smooth talker who tries to overcharge me outrageously.

Very reliable shop. Most services get done pretty fast if theyre not busy. My state inspection took about 2 hours or so or less. Highly recommend this place. Better than the big name places by far. 100% neighborhood mechanics that you can trust.

Very friendly, clean and crew was great. Normally go to Pep Boys but very glad I changed it up.

Solid place to get work done. I will say that if you can get here early, they get busy. I have done a bunch of business with this place and the wheels have not fallen of and the cars are still running so they are doing something right.

I have been taking my vehicles to Willowwood Service Center since I moved here in 2006. For years, they provided excellent service. I also highly recommended Willowwood Service Center to my friends and family. A few years ago, however, their service began to decline. I have often had to take my car to the shop for rework. This morning was one such occasion.When I arrived, the shop was closed, so I waited at the door. Another guy came up and said he was there first. I said thats fine and when the shop opened up I let him go in. When he left, another guy went in in front of me saying he was there first, I said, Okay, and let him go in. This was when the problem started.As the second gentleman went in, the guy behind the desk waved me in and said, I hear youre trying to cut in line and get service before anyone else. I tried to explain that not only was that not the case as I had let two people who claimed they were there before me go in before me without argument, but I could not get a word in. I had been accused and in the eyes of the man behind the counter, I was guilty and that was enough for him. Since he didnt like me even trying to defend myself, he added, and if you keep it up, I will send your a** down the street.Now, look. I think Im a pretty reasonable guy, but why curse at me? Just say, take your business elsewhere. That made me pretty upset and I responded with something that I knew I wouldnt be able to follow through with. I said, You want me to take it down the street? Okay, I will. I was bringing my car in to fix something you guys did, but Ill happily take it somewhere else and Ill send you the bill. His response to that was even more excellent customer service when he said, You can kiss my motherf***ing a**, which set me off even more and I threatened to get a lawyer.Obviously, thats an empty threat. I just took my car somewhere else where Ill probably pay more, but I will only have to have it in the shop one time. What isnt an empty threat is that I will never take my car to Willowwood Service Center ever again. I will also not get a lawyer, but I will use the power of capitalism to tell all my friends and family that have used Willowwood Service Center in the past never to go there again. I will also share this review everywhere I can to hopefully warn people away from the zero-star service offered by this once great Service Station.Update: Since I cannot reply directly to Willowwood Service Center, I have to update my review. I got into two verbal altercations. The first was with the owner who used profanity laced customer service language. My anger was in response to him. When I left, I told everyone standing there that I would have been happy to let them all go ahead of me when the guy who complained about me got out of his car and started cursing me out. He told me he was there first and I let him go ahead without argument. I honestly thought I was next in line and when he left I tried to go in but another guy said he was first and I let him go without argument. I did not raise my voice or use profanity until your owner cursed me out. I would have gotten in my car and left, but the customer decided he had to curse me out too. And yes, I am fully aware of when my car was last seen and when, and I can give other examples of having to return cars for rework, but that is totally beside the point. I was not out of control and I wasnt even angry until YOUR owner decided he needed to use profanity in his talking to me and call me a motherf***er. You can defend your mechanical ability all you want, but there is no defense for how I was treated this morning. None and if you dont understand that, then you have no business being in business. You also wont be missing just my business. In addition to the loss if my business, and my familys business, Ive already had word from three of my friends who have been customers of yours that they wont be doing business with you either. Thats eleven vehicles that wont be visiting your shop anymore, and thats just to start.

Been going here for a while, and they never fail to impress. I don’t usually write reviews, but Barry here really helped out, got my brake pads done plus a new rotor for about 100 dollars less than anywhere else would’ve done just the pads. 10/10 would recommend!

We have used this place for several years now. We have always found them to be honest and reasonably priced. They also back up their work by fixing a part that failed after a repair for free.

I have been here a few times now and they are best and most trustworthy care shop Ive seen in Norfolk. Way better than any tread quarters. The staff is friendly and ultra helpful. The prices are way fair and even under valued in some stuff. So I can highly recommend. Also they are a accredited business with the Better Business Bureau.

Great shop. Honest and accurate quotes and work. Weve been happy with everything weve had done here, including state inspections.There is also a public library and park within walking distance on a sidewalk if youre waiting for work with kids.

Weve been taking our cars here for 12 years. Couldnt be happier with the services weve received. The prices are always reasonable and the work done has always been good. Theyve worked on a 29 year old Toyota 4-Runner, a 10+ year old Lexus SC300, (gone but not forgotten), a 10 year old Lexus RX350, and a 10 year old AcuraTL.

Willowood has serviced my fleet for 5years. They have always been fair and done what they said. I will continue to bring my vehicles to Willowood.

I have been using Willow Wood Service since 2001 when our family moved to the neighborhood. They have fair prices, excellent service and stand behind their work. We have taken domestic cars, trucks, imports, trailers, and even boats there for repair. I only go somewhere else in the rare event they cant help.

Maybe some people had bad luck, but I have had nothing but excellent service at very reasonable prices. They were very friendly, and thoroughly explained the problem. Ignore the people saying women run away because they spoke to me with respect and acknowledged my competence with vehicles.

I only give this place 1 star cause, I cant give a comment without it. My experience with this place was not desirable at all. They salesman tried to over sell service after a Va. State inspection. The parts they failed were above the failing limits. The salesman refused to prove in front of us the true measurement of the rotor, that he failed. My experience operating Va. and Md. Inspection stations gave me the insight to know when Im being taken for a ride. My other issue with this place, suppose the customer doesnt have the experience in the business I do . I would not trust this place to do any vehicle maintenance or service for me.

Ive taken my care here a couple times. Friendly service and reasonable-ish prices (never thought I was being milked/scammed at any point at least). It should be noted that they have long wait times to get work done on the weekend.

Have used them for last 5 years for inspections, oil changes and such on my wife’s 03 Highlander (75k) and had been very pleased with their service until yesterday. Dropped off for inspection, oil change and to have 6 spark plugs installed since they had never been replaced. No drivability problems mind you. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle about 30 minutes before closing it shut down on my wife three times before she could put it in gear. Informed the owner who appeared to be the only one there at the time and he raised the hood for a look. Upon seeing nothing obvious he informed me that he had to remove the plenum during spark plug replacement and used some fuel system cleaner in the process and that that may need to be burned out. To shorten the story, it finally stayed running but the transmission shifted badly from first to second and second to third. Decided since they were closing I’d take it back this morning. So I made my way there hucking and bucking as it were and the check engine light comes on before I can get there. After some time they pulled it in and later came out and told me there was a ground wire that had been knocked off and that it had been reinstalled and it should be good to go. After a road test by a mechanic I asked if it was now shifting properly. His response was yes “BUT “ I think you have a bad torque mount because I can feel the engine move when I step on the gas. So that’s where I now stand. Vehicle has a noticeable bump when shifting from first to second gear. (WAS ABSOLUTELY NOT LIKE THIS WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF YESTERDAY MORNING)

They would find a way to always fail inspections!! Discolored working lighbulb.. $90 for 3 working lightbulbs!! I paid it bc I wanted to get the inspection done but is the 3rd time the fail me with 3 different cars, never again!! They force u to spend money or walk out with rejection sticker!!!!

Go see Bob. Very honest business, and some of the most skilled mechanics. I have several vehicles and i only trust willowood to service them. In fact i have to see Bob this a.m.

The are the WORST shop ever. The owner Barry is a liar. The shop mgr. Bob hides when he doesnt want to answer questions. My wife says If your a female, RUN away!. If I could rate them 0, I would.
