Really like the diagnostic report they provide - with pictures and thorough descriptions of issues and the reason for addressing them. All employees are professional and trustworthy. They work with you to prioritize work to address critical issues and determine what you can address down the road (I have an older car and I’m not trying to invest a ton, but want to keep in good running shape to last a few more years).

Frankie kept it honest and real with me. Giving me multiple options on what was going on with my vehicle. Came in for a CAT check and possible 02 sensor replace but after a diagnosis was able to give me tips for long run but showed me something more important Which was Trans fluid change. Came in thinking to spend a couple thousand but leaving happy and spending 200$ and some change. While waiting for service also was kind enough to answer my random vehicle questions. So again Id recommend coming here as well as let everyone else who needs service done.

I had been taking my car here for years. I brought my car into the shop in December for my inspection. Said the car was perfect just needed a brake fluid flush. I took it in again in January for the brake fluid flush. They said my car was running perfectly. When I took it in for an oil change in March, there was a new Store Manager. They sent me a text saying I needed new brake pads, tires, transmission, and everything else that could possibly be wrong with a car. The strangest thing was they mentioned I needed a brake fluid flush. I knew that was wrong. I took my car to a different shop today. They said my brake pads and transmission were perfect. The other shop has no reason to lie to me and lose my money. The new manager saw that I’m a woman and tried to take advantage of me. I will never step foot in this shop again. I won’t even get started on the fact that my oil change took 7 hours to complete.

Elective upgrade to a flowmaster exhaust system, supplied my own parts. Keegan and Frankie took care of me! Got me in the same afternoon, my Chrysler 300 needed some custom piping to make it fit and they took care of everything. Ended up higher than expected due to customization but easy financing options took care of everything! Definitely recommend. Be advised they stay busy, so I would recommend dropping your car off.

Appointment was at 2 and I called saying I was running late and they reassured me it was fine. I showed up at 2:15 and it then took an hour and a half for them to even move my car from the parking spot into the garage to work on the oil change. No one updated me on how long I was going to be waiting with my child in the waiting area. An hour in they offered kiddo a popsicle so that was nice. Frankie was professional but would have been nice to know I was going to be sitting there for almost 2 hours for a simple oil change.

The staff is nice, but they charge $200 an hour for labor! They price their equipment with a outrageous up charge. The told me to put a air compressor in would take 3 hours of labor and would cost almost $800 in labor alone. Definitely not going back there…

The associate was helpful and knowledgeable. My son used a Groupon for the first time and the experience was easy. Everything that needed to be taken care of with his car was done. I recommend calling to get information if you are using a Groupon beforehand.

Dont like to be blowed off. Made an app to bring my car in dropped it off monday nite for my 730am app. They didnt look at it at all. I called no one picked up i had to get up there. Just to be told they have not looked at it yet u can take it becouse the lot is full and u can bring it back. Make an app. I told them my app was tus at 730 am

My husband prefers this place, I dont. Previous experiences were OK. Made an appointment online 2wks ago & shortly after they called to cancel it cause they were too busy. Made another appointment via phone for this past wknd. Dropped car off before the 1p appointment, within an hour we got a notification the car was checked in for diagnostics and then received a call around 4p that we could come get the car before they close but they didnt have time to work on it... but we could bring it back on Monday & they could try to get it done. Seriously!? But my husband called anyway & was told they could try to fit us in on Thursday. Nope! My preferred shop told my husband they had a few cars ahead of ours but they could get it done that day. And they did!I understand Meineke being busy, especially at the end of the month... but maybe telling us they were behind schedule when we dropped the car off would have been nice. Cant say we wont use them again but they are not my 1st choice.

I used a Groupon to get an oil change! They were very nice and helpful! Trish was helping me a lot about recommending a few things about my car and teaching me how everything worked with their online receipt. I absolutely love how everything is so organized and professional! Most importantly they made me feel comfortable coming into their shop. The staff their are just so silly, fun, and honest. Very friendly and upfront staff. Professional and not pushy at all but firm when an important repair is warranted. No feeling that unwanted or unnecessary repairs were being tacked on. On time and flexible when I needed to drop my car off before appt and pick it up several hours after the repair was completed. Overall a great experience and would recommend.

When I arrived to pick up my car the rear door window was broken. That was yesterday around 430. They said they were waiting on video footage to see what happened and no one has contacted me in over 24 hours. Whats going on ? Is the service you provide to everyone or just women? Ive brought my SUV here twice, once for an oil change and the other for my water pump. Both times Ive come everyone has been so nice and everything was done pretty quickly. And I am so proud to say that as a female, its about time I walked into a mechanic shop and didnt feel talked down to or talked to like I knew nothing. Ill definitely keep coming here.

The service was excellent the work was done in a timely fashion they even help me Finance the work they were very professional and very courteous and very accommodating they even gave me a loaner since my work wasnt going to be done until the next day. Not to leave out they have the cleanest bathroom I have ever seen and in order repair center I will definitely recommend them to everyone I know and I cannot see me taking my car anywhere else.

I came to Meineke for my first state Inspection, in preparation to sell my car. All of the staff I spoke with were nice and professional. Jason was so helpful and explained the process to me clearly and kindly. He made sure I understood the results of the inspection and quickly fixed the few minor repairs that it needed. I walked out with a passed inspection and a bill that didn’t break the bank. I would definitely recommend this shop for any auto needs!

I went to Meineke on Oriana in Newport News and the experience was terrible. I was greeted when I walked in and felt good about going there. I was there early so my car was taken in quickly. A little over a hr later I received a e-mail detailing things that need to be done. I was asked what I thought and it all went downhill from there. I was telling the front desk I didn’t want to get anything done, I’ve had the car over 5 yrs and about to have twins and won’t be driving it too much longer. I was given payment options and I kindly declined. After a couple more attempts to get me to get work done the guy says well I’m going to refer you to our oil change place near the university. He says you’ve been coming here getting 30 dollar oil changes and won’t get any work done we tell you needs to be done. So I look at him and say, are you telling me not to come here if I’m just getting a oil change and he says yes. I don’t want to waste your time or mine just for a oil change. Say no more. Then to top it off the two of them went to the garage and starts talking down on people that come in and refuse services they say they need. Also while sitting there, they are talking about people they are talking on the phone to each other. It’s natural but you don’t do these things in front of customers. To top it all off they took 1hr and 45 min to do my oil change. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had and it was just for a oil change. They were rude, the customer service was awful and disrespectful. The bad thing is I liked the idea of a payment plan to get what I needed done and I considered it but just not at that moment for personal reasons. Safe to say I’ll never go here again and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else too either. If I could I wouldn’t give them 1 star.

Perfect place to take your car to. I went in for an inspection, but found out I needed more work to be done.. they took pictures and explained everything that needed to be done thoroughly. This is the WORST place to bring your car for any service. April 6th I had an appointment for an oil change at 10am, my car wasn’t brought to the back until noon. After the work had been done and leaving I noticed my car smelled like fuel but I just thought it was the new fluids running through the engine to subside and eventually go away. A couple days later I gave birth and had no time to follow up. Three weeks later the smell was still there driving around with a NEWBORN BABY in the car so I called only to be dismissed and said it was other issues that were in the report yet the associate did not even mention to bring the car back to get looked at or anything. I did not receive this report April 6. I received this report the day I called 3 weeks later. Today I finally brought my car to a professional mechanic to find that the unreliable person I trusted caring for my car to have left the oil cap off of the engine and on the vent that brings air into the car. After sending these pictures to Meineke they discredited it and said “they don’t put the oil caps up there.” No sorry or offer to redo any work (because more than half of the oil is gone) Therefore, DO NOT bring your car here for service. Their work is negligent and the workers are unprofessional.

Jason and his Team are honest, friendly, informative, efficient yes, all of these!!!I had an oil change 7 months ago and they did a vehicle inspection. They pointed out some recommended future front end repairs that were not needed immediately.So today I had a scheduled oil change and in the back of my mind I was hoping to get the front end repairs scheduled while I was there. They had all of the parts in stock to do the repairs and were able to complete them as well as the oil change in about 4 hours. GREAT SERVICE!!! and I didnt have to take anther day off for the other repairs.

I called Meineke Car Care and they were able to see the same day and even get the work done. Even though the day was busy, I never felt as an inconvenience to them. They were very professional and I didn’t feel like they were taking advantage of the fact that I was in need or that I was a woman there alone. Especially the day before Christmas Eve! Everything was explained to me to the simplest level and every question was answered. I dealt with two gentlemen and I received the same service and professionalism from both. We even laughed and joked. So they didn’t make it seem like they were just here to take my money and move me out lol. My service was quick and so far I am satisfied with the work done. Thank you!

I have used Meineke twice now for my car needs, and both times Ive been satisfied with my service all around. I have worked in vehicle repair myself, and Meineke meets all of my expectations of the business. Jason has been incredibly nice to us and understanding of our needs. Originally we visited for a State Inspection, in which they replaced 2 tires for us and our windshield. They were very flexible with their schedule and up front about costs and repair times. After they did such a great job with the first visit, I went back for my regular oil change. My car had been stalling so they did a premium oil change, and found out my battery was bad and replaced it all within a day. Very appreciative of their customer service and their openess and honesty, its hard to find vehicle repair that doesnt take advantage of their customers wallets. Would recommend to anyone!

Went in for semi synthetic oil change found out my car was designed for full synthetic so glad Jason was able to take care of that for me.

Took a little longer than I expected for a safety inspection. To be fair they were booked through for the day at 2pm and they were swamped. Even so, everybody was friendly and professional and they were all hustling to try to knock out the work load. They were able to get me in that day( even if it was at 4 instead of 2) unlike pep boys, who let me schedule an appointment, but when my husband got there the tech was at lunch, and whoever waited on him, said they werent sure if they could see him because it was on a first come first served basis. Will never go to pep boys again. Frankie and his crew took care of me and were honest and trustworthy. They were thorough in their inspection and I am now able to confidently drive my vehicle. 100% would go back.

Meineke Car Center saved my family vacation and got us back on the road when other garages would not. They took us in without hesitation at 1.5 hours before close, diagnosed the problem, ordered parts, and made the repair, with the upmost professionalism, courtesy, and humor. They took the time to explain the problem, cost breakdown, and payment options (knowing we were going on vacation and may not want a unexpected repair costs). Frankie and Keegan know how to take care of customers, which is the way to repeat business and customer loyalty. I had not been there before but will return for regular service. I highly recommend Meineke Car Care Center.We were 20 minutes into a 5-hour drive when the brake calipers began to stick, smell, and smoke. It was 2:00 on a Saturday, we couldnt continue, we couldnt go back home. We called around to find a nearby garage to help us. Most garages closed at 5:00 and couldnt do it today. Firestone said they could get the parts, but after we limped to the location by 3:10 and got checked in, they decided they wouldnt be able to finish by close at 7:00; mechanic leaving and 8 cars ahead of us (we lost an hour but glad they admitted it early so we still had a chance). Seeing that Meineke was nearby, we limped to the location at about 4:30. Frankie greated me with a smile and said, without hesitation,no problem, we can do it. They finished at 6pm and refused to take a sincere gratuity tip. Our worries were over and we were back on the road for a week at the beach.Thank you Frankie and Keegan.

I got there 1/2 hour before my appointment, I waited over an hour before they put my car up. I was there for an alignment.I was told thst I needed 2tires before they could do the alignment.I said ok...how much I was told 400.00,and that I had an electrical problem cause two bulbs were out over my license plate. I was in Va.going back to Pa.PA. My son is a mechanic, I dont have an electrical problem. (Bulbs were changed.)I generally trust Meineke and search for them when it and about and need serviceSo I was very disappointed.

I Set up an appointment on a Wednesday for a simple oil change for Monday at 4:30. 5 days later I show up for the oil change and the same guy that made the appointment for me tells me its gonna be 2 hours 🤣. I left and got my oil changed at take 5 very fast with excellent service. GO to take 5!

I went in to get one tire replaced and a state inspection with the understanding that with current pandemic times, it may take a little longer than anticipated. That being said, I showed up for my 10am appointment 15 minutes early, and was told by the man at the counter that they were a little behind and that it may take an hour to hour and a half for them to get my car back to service. Then the service could take up to another hour and a half. As I write this review it has now been FOUR HOURS and they are just now taking my car into the actual shop from the parking lot. Would NOT recommend. This is the second time Ive been here. Once, pre pandemic, and last time they were a little behind on appointments, but not bad enough for me to not give them another try, or to leave a poor review. This time however, has been a nightmare. After giving them my correct tire size at 945 this morning, they are just now trying to get a tire from their warehouse

They definitely Fixed the main problem my car had and I’m thankful for that. They did forget to put my left hubcap back on haha when they were done but that’s not a big deal to me. Took a while for my car to get fixed but Mr Keegan made sure I was taken care of.

The place was EXCELLENT! I live in Williamsburg and they beat the local Firestone by several hundred dollars. The work was EXCELLENT. The experience was EXCELLENT. We would not take our vehicles ANYWHERE else.I felt like I was the only customer in the whole world when I got there. They helped us get through a rough spot financially with excellent access to financing AND in the event my car was past repair, I have NO DOUBT Jason and his team would be the first to tell me to get a new (to me) vehicle rather than sinking more cash into this one. The team at this facility is great! I have never had a mechanic I enjoyed going to until I came here. I love that they are so friendly and provide you with photos and videos of exactly what is wrong. They worked with me on pay for unexpected repairs and have always done an excellent job on the extensive repairs my car has needed. If they felt like a job was more than they could handle they would refer me to someone else and never made me feel bad when I refused certain services to tackle myself. Great team that really cares about their customers and produces quality work! I will say the wait time can be long because they are often busy. If you can be sure to drop of the car not wait in their lobby. If you have to wait they do everything they can to get you out quickly but it’s not uncommon to be there for 3-4 hours.

Really nice people. Been there plenty of times for oil changes. Today not sure what happened went there for an oil change and to find out why my car shakes when i brake. They did a state inspection which i did NOT ask for and tried to put a rejection sticker in the window for a parking light and reverse light. Not sure i will be going back there after today.

Great team of workers! I have been going to them for a while now and they are always friendly and professional. Haven’t had a problem with their work. If you can don’t wait there have someone drop off your car and pick it up at the end of the day because they are very busy and it’s not uncommon for me to spend over 2 hours there even for just an oil change. Still I love going to them and I love that they give you pictures for everything to show you why they recommend fixing certain things. Helps a lot when making decisions. Check Groupon for deals and other places and it makes this shop amazing value for money!

This is my second time going through this Meineke shop and I cannot begin to express just how great all the people that work there are. I came in with a rattling noise in my left front wheel assembly and within an hour they reach back out to me. The rattling problem soon became 3 different car parts that needed to be fixed. But that wasn’t a problem due to the great financing options they have at Meineke. Keegan called and said he would try to get the vehicle done by the end of the day. An hour and a half later, Frankie called me to let me know my car almost completely and to start to head back to the shop. Finishing up the financing paperwork at the shop was a breeze and the guys there are just stellar and couldn’t ask for any better. Thank you very much Keegan and Frankie!

Keegan and Jason were very professional and courteous towards our needs. They took care of my sons care for him and were very helpful with regards to identifying and repairing the issues that caused the car to fail the state inspection.
