I love this place. The owner is a little weird. ;)
Stopped in quickly on Saturday afternoon for a cold 4 loco and a booster. Its a little pricey because of the area and the tourist.
Dont go here! Take the ferry to the liquor store across the back bay. They should absolutely be shut down for price gouging. This seedy place is only in business because it scams gullible tourists (and locals). I have been a local for 3 years and have given them multiple second chances only to be disappointed over and over again. They mark up prices by 1.5x-2x of market value on everything in the store. On multiple occasions we have taken a bottle with a price listed on the tag only to have the shady guys at the register ring it up for 8-15 dollars more than what was listed.
Best craft beer selection around.
Its a HAPPY PLACE
Happys House
Good people and service.
Price is reasonable do to it being a tourist destination, the Deli definitely worth it.. Order anything on the surf board and youll see!!Visit this place, I highly recommend it..👍👍👍👌👌👌
Way overpriced frozen bait run by distracted persians that love American money
Needed relish, dude went into the back to find said relish that was not on the shelves. Excellent customer service right there.
They have a lot to offer, but the prices are on the high side. You can save yourself a lot of money by going to the supermarket, but if you need something now and dont want to drive. They have you covered
The food is good. The people are very nice. Its a keeper.
Love this place. Right accross the street from Palms Eatery and Pub.
Great selection of firewood, charcoal, beer, liquor and amazing sub sandwiches! Great people!
Stay away from this place!!! I traveled to LA from Oklahoma with my niece for her 13th birthday and, on the recommendation of a colleague, we checked out Balboa Island for the 4th of July. It was so crowded we knew immediately that we wouldnt stay long. I pulled into an empty parking space in the lot of this establishment and observed the sign that the parking was only for Bal Harbour. There were no other posting regarding time limits or other requirements. So, I went in and made a purchase in their store; I paid cash and they did not give me a receipt. My niece and I then strolled to a few shops, looked out off the pier, grabbed a couple of slices of pizza and came back to find our car had been towed. The store owners couldnt even be bothered to talk to me more than to advise that I call the local police. The local police directed me to take it up with the wrecker service. Southside Towing (keep your distance from these crooks, too) advised me that a Bal Harbour employee called them to tow my car (a rental, for which I thankfully had the papers) after it was there for an hour unattended. I had to call a $330 souvenir, I hightailed it out of there. What a scam!!
Great people
Horrible staff. Bad experience! Not helpful at all!
People are friendly and they make a good sandwich
Do not buy LOTTERY TICKETS THERE
$1.25 for a single lime. Complete but pricy liquor selection.
