This store was in walking distance to our hotel right next door. The gentleman running this store was the most sweetest man. His store had everything you could need, if you forgot anything at home this store will have it! Everything was fairly priced.

Tony is the nicest man you will ever meet. I love seeing him every time I stop in the Outpost. I feel blessed to live in a neighborhood with a business that is so convenient and pleasant.

I came in after hanging out with my siblings and to be honest I had been there before and the owner had been the most nicest person I know. But this time he was very awkward, I was deciding on a beverage choice(and to be honest it was an alcoholic beverage[Beer] but who doesnt want to try something new) once I came to the counter the owner gets my ID which I gladly provided, and looks at it for at least 3 minutes. Then he tells me that he cant sell me anything because he saw me come in with children, and he says Im not buying the beer for me but for the kids I came in with. I tried to tell him that it was for me but he was adamant about his reasoning so I left because I was embarrassed(Im 26 why do I need to buy underage kids alcohol). I understand him being a business man and wanting to be safe but the way he went about the whole thing made me not want to ever go there again even if its by myself.

Tony and family are a fixture in Newport Beach! We love Outpst and stop in all the time!

Love this place. They have a little bit of everything in this store, beer, liquor, wine, toys, automotive supplies, ice cream in a freezer, cigarettes, they have two freezer chests in the back, they carry food you can buy and bring home and cook. I stop by here on my way home from work and grab food for dinner.

Great neighborhood feel.

Just a little mom and pop store. The old gentleman there was so nice that when we saw a man shoplifting beer we confronted and recovered the beer and the old man was very grateful.

Friendly older gentleman running the place. They have a small freezer with bait for $5/6. Small place but they have a little of everything.

My family vacations in the Newport Beach area almost every summer. We always make it a point to stop in and make a few purchases at the Outpost. If, for no other reason, to talk briefly with Tony (the store owner) who is always extra pleasant.

Interesting but a bit lukewarm the beers. But in the end the Models are good.
