Nice place in a good spot close to the water and the pier.The Hand Dipped Balboa bars are one of the specialties.I’ve tried the affogato Sunday 😋it was so good.They decorate it with a cow shape chocolate 🐮

Great flavors and texture. Service was friendly and accommodating, my group was sharing a single scoop and without asking they gave us extra bowls and spoons. Consistency of ice cream was smooth. Definitely worth walking the extra half block, instead of Summerland

Great ice cream joint with many many flavors. Service is fast even though there was a long line, the line went by so fast. Prices are great but most importantly, the flavors are amazing and they have a huge variety.This place is always spotless and clean and everything looks so presentable and neat. The location is great with some indoor and outdoor seats.I loved the green tea and pineapple coconut, but there are so many flavors to go back and try ;)

The selection of desserts here was to die for, and the customer service was top notch. The chocolate dipped Balboa bar and frozen banana were both delicious. The chocolate was just the right thickness: thick enough to add a lot of chocolatey goodness without being so thick it was hard to crunch through. I got toasted coconut on my bar and it added a lot of flavor. My caramel macchiato was also great for a place that specializes more in desserts, and my wife was happy with her affogato sundae. Were not in Newport Beach often, but the next time we are Im sure well be back to Cowafornia to give some other menu items a try!

Lots of flavors. Good ice cream.

The horchata ice cream was ok, but the espresso ice cream was very weakly flavored. Nothing special and I had a lot of much better ice cream. Definitely overpriced for the product.

At least one employee needs a lesson in customer service. Ordered a vanilla latte, got a half cup of foam! When I asked him to correct the issue by adding a little bit more milk he decided to educate me on the fact that that was how he was taught to make them and I was wrong! This is a latte, should be about 10 to 15% foam but more importantly the customer should’ve been taken care of and not had some idiot 20-year-old trying to teach them how they were taught wrong. Oh, he also forgot to put the vanilla in it!!

Best ice cream shop Ive ever been to! The flavors will get you whether you want them to or not! The owner is friendly, and loves to bring in new flavors and ideas often. Ice cream and espresso - whats not to love here?

I always wondered why people waited in line here. I think I found the answer! We were en route to a friends house for dinner and we decided to stop and take some goodies as a gift to our host. The line was short and we took advantage of it. WOW the cookies were amazing. My husband ordered and assortment of cookies and they were VERY good. The hype stands up to the quality. If you are up to waiting in line, check it out!

Handmade ice creams? Macarons? Give me something not to love! There were so many creative flavors to choose from, but we settled on two. The pumpkin ice cream was incredible - tasted just homemade pumpkin pie. And the Fruity Pebble ice cream macaron sandwich was a blast from the past. It was my favorite contraband cereal that my loving mother hardly let me eat, and I felt the thrill of rebellion with every bite. The macarons were perfectly done - nice and chewy giving them great texture. Some have said the sandwich is too sweet, but I think thats the territory youre getting into when you order a Fruity Pebble anything. Cant wait to come back and flirt with a diabetic coma.
