I just took over as the business manager of Safeside Treatments LLC, and this particular Staples (their staff) goes above and beyond. They’re friendly, patient, efficient, and affordable. Worst Staples in Connecticut. Staff does not greet you nor do they offer any help. I was in print center for over 30 minutes waiting for help because there was only 1 girl who was clearly distressed with the situation working and NO coworkers responding to the girls request for help. Copy center has never failed to disappoint me with the quality of their “work” and their rude staff. Was trying to make small talk with the chubby tall guy with glasses who works there and he walked away in the middle of me talking. When I asked him for help he said he needed a minute and proceeded to go on their computer for a good 10 minutes before helping me. Then when I was looking for ink, an overly excited male employee followed me around and would not let me shop in peace. When I finally do shop in peace, I hear two teenage staff members complaining about their jobs and saying they want to quit. THEN QUIT. I usually don’t post reviews but this place needs to be shut down or they need to fire everyone who works there and find a better less annoying and clueless staff. Manager was also no where to be found. They said he was out for vacation. You leave staff alone who don’t know anything ? I wish there was a 0 star option.

Terrible print center. Submitted three film posters online and it took them twice as long as they said it would, only to find out that they refused to print my posters because of their “copyright” policies. I own all the rights to the artwork, and film titles, being singular creative works, cannot be trademarked. I tried to tell Manager Ryan that (I even showed him the federal law saying that my posters were public domain), but he was not having it and completely wasted my time, asking me to drive 15 minutes out to the store only to tell me there’s nothing he could do.

The fact the printer section is understaffed is no one’s issue but Staples. If someone generally doesn’t not know what their doing and expresses such means a representative should assist. The Manager on duty, sucks. Customer service and common sense lacks entirely she for sure should not be in a role as such. Hire people, is the easy solution but teaching those working at the location customer service that’s a task that’ll take time. Don’t even waste your time at this sad excuse for a staples location.

Received a good service after contacted Stapless Customer Service. The Manager called and offered to show me the desk, which I ended up buying for my home office. Thank you for listening!

Went in on a Wednesday afternoon to get a standing desk and the entire store staff helped me pick the right item for the right price and assisted me on finding a way to get it home. This is a great staff. Thank you Staples family.

I went here two days ago, 11/3/2021 and I will not be recommending anyone to go here. The staff is not friendly and are very snippy when you ask questions. I was looking for packaging as I was sending multiple items for my online business. I asked to see a sample if they had any as I didn’t want to open the packaging to see the size. Getting the wrong item just wastes my time as a customer and for the employees as I’ll just return it if it doesn’t fit my items. The lady that was working on shelves that day was not interested in helping and proceeded to tell me that my items wouldn’t fit in the packaging that I wanted to see a sample for (they actually did) and quite rude to me about it. I thought I was going to be a regular here but that will not be happening. Take your money elsewhere especially if you are a business owner.

Print center is awful, second time using them to print labels because I didn’t have time to print my own was in a bit of a rush! They couldn’t find the stickers then they checked off that the order was checked and confirmed for quality such bull** one out the 4 sheets was missing and they didn’t even offer to reimburse me or reprint the stickers!! The girl behind the counter was lost didn’t know where labels were located in her work area or even the sizing!! The store manager came over to help and was like it didn’t matter so useless. Never again!!

Awful customer service, just awful. Some heavyset lady that works in back almost toppled me over with her cart of shipping boxes. God forbid if I had a question for her. Unbelievable

Copy center is the slowest place on earth. Better off saving yourself the time and drive 2 towns over for faster service

Tall older male salesman needs to back off and understand that someone’s all set when they say they’re all set and not follow them around the store trying to get them to drop another $100 on something they’ve repeatedly said they don’t need. This is why I buy online.

I went in to have prints made from a painting I had made. I had gone to a Fedex print center first and didnt get the quality I needed. Molly was amazing! I told her my struggle and she immediately knew what options to present to me so that I would get a better quality of print. She went above and beyond for me. Thank You Molly!

I have gone here for various items over the years and it has not been hard at all. I have found the employees here to be helpful. The store has had the items I was searching for and the prices were o.k. too. As a matter-of-fact...That was easy...

Have had to go to Staples a couple of times to print several things,various sizes,colors,etc.The staff in the print center were very knowledgeable and helpful,especially the young lady who took the time and had the patience to make sure we walked out with everything just the way we wanted.I wish I knew her name and I hope she knows just how much we appreciate all her help.She deserves the five stars!

Jess at the printing area is an Angel! I spent days looking for a theme my son wanted for his birthday and lost hope after not finding a thing! Jess helped me with printables and choosing the right paper for different decorations same day ( the day before my son’s birthday party)! Without her my son’s birthday wouldn’t be possible. Extremely unhelpful copy center. Two girls who seemed more interested in talking about there plans then helping people. I was having trouble sending over a email to get printed out. I said to the girl I need help she shrugged and walked away. When I emailed them the file they still said they didn’t get and and just stared at me. Please get some people with some knowledge and stop hiring lazy dumb kids

This location is clean and well organized. Staff is attentive and friendly. The printing center is amazing!

While shopping for the usual office supplies I fell in love with a desk chair- unfortunately it was out of stock and the floor model was slightly dingy as I imagine it had been tested by many customers. A gentleman offered to have one shipped to the store for no extra cost, AND they honored the lower online sale price. Extremely friendly staff.

I used to be a fan of Staples, but theyve become an irrelevant store as Ive gotten older. I used to come here when I was younger for notebooks and other school supplies (which they still have), but they dont really offer anything valuable for adults. They have a fair amount of electronics (laptops, phones, etc.), but I never think to purchase those items in person. Theyre also more expensive than typical online retailers. If you need something then Amazon may be a better alternative.

The complete staff there was so professional and well knowledged about their products and Arthur the store manager was incredible too! I recommend anybody to go buy whatever they need computer, printer orpaper whatever it is, there is only one place to go!! Staples

The famous office store has almost everything from office stationary to school stationary, from tablets to laptops, from movie DVDs/Blu rays to Printers. There are sometimes good deals on stationary items. The staff is very cooperative to answer your questions related to any item in their store.

Everytime I go here the staff is helpful and polite. I am a huge fan of the 1 hour pickup. Has saved me so much time.

I had a very good shopping experience this time. The young lady was pleasant and helpful. So as not to leave her register area, she called for a floor assistant. He took me over to the area and stayed to help me select the right item that I was looking for. Then asked if i needed any other assistance.This is not always the case. Quite a few times, Ive actually left the store due to a very abrupt salesperson, whom Ive felt as though I interrupted, from walking around.Although the store is neat in appearance and clean, the logic of the layout sometimes mystifies me.This is the only office supply store in our area, which makes us sort of a captive customer.We use to have an Office Depot and an Office Max, but they are no longer in Ct. Office Depot was an excellent store to do business.This Staples offers all services, from cleaning materials, office equipment and supplies, Xerox and color copies, computers and their accessories, school supplies and FedEx.Although they do carry many different items, some areas could use improvement. eg: ink cartridges. They either dont have it in stock, you can special order, or they no longer inventory it, as I was once told. So I went to Amazon.They also offer, shop on line and pickup at the store. I have done this and that worked out very well.I know its not easy to provide for everybodys needs, and some customers can be difficult, or not have the technical knowledge to explain their needs, BUT, thats where excellent customer service plays a big roll in future business.
