In this trip we went to best buy to pick up an online order. The parking lot is confusing and has several one way signs and we nearly turned the wrong way down a one way lane. It was not very convenient and very tight fit for our car, which is admittedly on the larger side but average for an SUV.Once inside they had some people sitting at the door. I found it a bit odd but nevertheless they directed us to the desk yo pick up our purchase. Im not really sure what their purpose is if you are just there to browse. The clerk at the desk was carrying on a conversation with another employee and did not acknowledge we were there and just processed the order. Not a huge deal but mildly rude in my opinion. They were quick at processing the receipt for pickup. Most stores seem to want to encourage you to browse. The close proximity to the door did not, which was okay for us but others might want to walk around a bit more. We were in and out in under 5 minutes and got exactly what we ordered and did not see much besides the service desk. So overall it was good, just a bit different than what I expect from going to a store. I had wished the parking were more obvious or better signed again on the way out. I suppose if one were a regular this would be less of an issue but first time, be careful and pay attention to where the exits are located.

Very helpful staff clean and consistent service. Popped in to look at the new laptops mine had a major meltdown before the company meeting this morning. Spoke to Brett over in geek squad and went through some pretty good options between repair and new purchase. Definitely going to stay with HP I drifted on the last purchase and it didnt work out so well. I definitely would say hps been a very consistent brand literally the laptop I used in replacement this morning was a 10 year old HP that havent been turned on in at least a year and fired up like an old Buick.Regards,

Tried buying a USB-c adapter for my MacBook. Everything is mislabeled. Got to desk to pay and the price was incorrect. Went to find another similar item, also incorrect price at register. Not trying to spend $100 for an adapter labeled as $30. Cashier told me to go to Walmart or Amazon for cheaper product.

I went to Best Buy for a repair and was met at the front door by a representative named Devin. He was extremely rude, had no customer skills and provided no solution to my problem. Maybe he was having a hard day or something was bothering him, but that does not excuse his behavior. He had no desire to help me and I will not be returning to this store.

I went to a Best Buy in Meridian, brought a car radio and set up an appointment on another best buy at Berlin for installing the car radio, however, when I made the scheduled appointment for 3:45 pm with a person working at Meridian that sent an appointment to the workers in Berlin to notify that I was coming to install the car radio I’ve purchased, they then told me short, that he had no time today, and cannot install the car radio today, and so, I only had time for today, wasting at this point at least an hour and a half, I made an attempt to rectify this to one of the workers in the front door, the person did not respect my situation that I have went to three Best Buys, all for a refund, on top of all this, the man at the front door catalyzed my frustration to the situation, by being disrespectful, rude, and wanted me out, although he was saying what should be said to the customers respectfully I was not seeing that in his behavior, by respectfully handling my situation and he did not bear any patients with me after less than a minute has pass when addressing what has happened to him. The man in the front door is named Devin Corbet, he wears glasses, his skin color is white, the last thing he state “at this point I cannot help you, so leave”, I told him that I’m here now for the refund. Additionally, there was an customer who had the same case, however DID NOT booked an appointment, and yet was able to have no issues all before my eyes.This is not a lie, I have proof of the refund.

Most of shelf had wrong prices, manager did not fix the issue, or even honor the price of the 1 item the cashier pulled from the cage... Only a $30 difference but since our company spends over 9k per year at bestbuy, you would think they would at least fix the problem instead of saying its not their fault but a technical issue with the signage.

I was upset because the game I purchased was advertised the previous day on their website ad as being $36.99 & I ran out of time to get there so I went the next day and they charged me $44.99. When I argued about the online price we went online and they had changed it there. It was supposed to be on sale till Christmas Eve or the day after Christmas. I believe they were price matching other stores & they went up on their prices so Best Buy did as well which really bothered me but I really needed that video game for my daughter & was having trouble finding it & it was later on Christmas Eve so I bought it but under protest. I love Best Buy because you can usually get great deals on gaming stuff & movies also I earn reward points as well which get me $5.00 of certificates every so often depending on how much I spend so thats a bonus & I just love their movie selection as Im a movie & TV show buff.

Friendly staff who greet and ask you if you need any help. I also love the curbside pickup. I have a 1 year old and 5 year old and with everything going on it makes it easier to not have to go inside stores. They just bring it right out to you and are super nice when they do.

The staff used to be very helpful and friendly. I had the worse experience in Best Buy Newington CT. They enforce you to purchase something and there is no service on the back. How come I know what I will buy if I dont know the quality and the price? Someone has to help with this. But there is no one. Four associates including the manager seating on the front door asking for names and what exactly you need. No assistance, no explanations. Bad behavior. They explain that with Covid-19. But this bad service was not like this last year.

Terrible store terrible customer service. Nobody answers the phone. They send you main automated bull. Short story. I bought a $1000 TV they delivered a $400 TV. 2 weeks later and its still not straighten out. Store manager sold me the TV. If I bought this as gift for my parents they wouldnt have known the difference and I would have gotten taken for $600. Stay away say far away. To many places to shop to deal with these people. Absolutely will never walk into a Best Buy again ever.

Went to the store in Newington for some info regarding auto stereos. 6 associates walked by me no one offered any help. I walked back to the front and asked for assistance from the first associate I saw. Told me to go to the check in ..what? 10 min later still no help but plenty of employees walked by me. There was maybe 10 customers in the whole store. Come to find out they have almost no radios in stock. The displays dont work the whole store is looking bad. As a former big box manager myself I would be ashamed if my store looked and operated like best buy recently. Dont even get me started about the Meriden Best Buy. What a joke that place is. Best Buy you better shape up or you can follow circuit city and Comp USA into oblivion.

Went to order a fridge that we have researched up and down. We had a very specific measurement to work with. Got there and the wait was very long for some reason- didn’t even look like there were many people in the store. Finally a young man came to talk to us and quickly told us it wouldn’t fit and wasn’t even available when he looked online. And he said it could be months until it was back in stock. Then began trying to talk us into this one other fridge that was a style we didn’t want. He wasn’t really listening to us. So days later we went online, found the fridge we originally wanted, bought it, had it installed three days later with no issues. It was a very frustrating experience given the amount of time we have taken to look into our kitchen appliances.

Best Buy has the worst possible customer service I’ve ever ever encountered in any company. They don’t allow you to talk to the right people via phone, have employees in geek squad that are condescending and lie to people to get people to buy more stuff and then when you catch them in a lie, they just refund your money and tell you nothing else they will do. Can’t wait to see on the news that they filed for bankruptcy protection. My guess is this will happen soon. They wasted hours of my time not including gas to go to their store multiple times after verifying stuff with employee (whose employee ID numbers I had) just to be told that they didn’t talk to anyone and can’t do anything to help after being told the opposite on the phone. I like to shop local but in this case I will never spend another dollar at any of their locations

Tried to call the store only to sit on hold for over 10 min with no on answering. We go to the store anyway and find plenty of employees standing around. The employee at geek squad was very quick and unhelpful. After calling corporate because no manager would answer the phone (again) at the Newington location, corporate apologized and made us a new appointment since the employee there couldnt be bothered to even look at our laptop which they should have at least done to diagnose it. Went back today only to be lied to that best buy never honored manufacturers warranties. Its one thing if it is no long the policy, it is another to rudely, and arrogantly, lie about it. We were told the only help would be through the manufacturer directly and take weeks. The manager then told us this is why they suggest owning two laptops. Yup, the manager told me just own two laptops. That is the most privileged, spoiled, tone deaf thing to say to a customer. Just buy two expensive items here like people can just do that.. Thats not even including how lazy it is for the company as a whole to not honor the warranty anymore. Just shop on Amazon. Customer service doesnt exist here anymore.

Went to west Hartford store three times for a new tv. That was on sale. The first sales guy did not much for me. Second time the guy who was working in the front because of Covid-19 was rude and a bully. Same day I finally got a sales person to get me the tv I wonted. Other then that store is clean and there are good and helpful people that work there like John who was so helpful and listens to my needs for modem and other things.

Best buy is ok. Geek Squad was my meh. On the website, at least from what I read, fix consoles. So I made an appointment to bring it in. When i get there, i was asked if the ps4 was in warranty. It wasnt. Then they tell me that if the ps4 wasnt with warranty from best buy, they could not fix it. So, that was the let down.Dont get me wrong. Everyone there was very friendly, very accommodating and helpful. Until this point where i couldnt get it fixed. Now i know.

Slow service, nonexistent communicatio skills and poor manners. Never returning here again.I walked in to an almost empty store at 2:30pm to make a quick return on an item. There was 1 attendant dealing with a single customer. Otherwise atleast 5 visible staff members who were sitting idle, manning the entrance none of whom offered to help deal with my return for which I waited behind the single customer for 15 minutes. after which I verbally requested someone else to help me out as I didnt know how long the wait would be, they just shrugged their shoulders and asked to continue waiting until the first customer finished. The rest of the staff were chatting amongst themselves with no regard for clients time.I announced that I could not wait any longer and left without so much as an apology.
