Good store to find anything you want at a discount price...African fish, i was surprised to see them here...Haitians mangoes... I got 6....A lot of Caribbean food products...The cashiers are really nice...The staffs speak creole spanish

Fresh fruits and vegetables. I gave it 4 stars because sometimes the mangoes are not good

Everything you need at a reasonable price

It’s not bad for the essentials, but as far as better poultry and fish selections, you can be better served elsewhere. I have found a lot of items I needed to be expired or need to be found in other markets, so I only come for very basic needs.

The place itself its too expensive.

The store is pretty big on the inside and carries a lot of groceries you would see inside a major supermarket. They have a Deli department and a Seafood area. They also have a lot of parking which is a major plus! The staff is friendly but English is a bit limited.

You have to no the prices of the items you are buying on the shelf they give you one price but when you go to the reregister it ring up a higher price so you have to be mindful and keep your eye on this situation iam a value shopping live deals and I make sure Im getting my money worth

The reason I gave this supermarket three stars was because the staff wasnt very educated on their products nor were there any Spanish speaking managerial on duty and delivery was not offered

I like the extra on Avon more. The place has gotten better in time, but on my last visit a few items I really needed werent in stock. Its weird because the extra on Avon Avenue also has lower prices. Good if your around there

Thats of market has been this is before I could think I dont know about all their perishables but I do know that a large quad of people in my city go to extra for meets the always known for their meats and keep a kosher Sometimes Im mad though because I can never find parking and the front this on the front of the street across the street from the school sometimes little kids be all in the store running around in stony ship but other than that everything is good as is another note store

Prices do not match food items. My husband and I have complained for months. We have to request a price correction EVERY SINGLE TIME we shop there. Please make sure the price you see is the actual price that rings up. I am in the process of rectifying this issue with the state. This is a travesty, and I will not stand for it.

I only go there to get a few items. The prices on some things are great.

They are well stocked on cleaning supplies and all the fruit is fresh...I was even able to pick up a few Haitian mangos....so that a plus for me the fish department was a lil smelly but very clean all employees had on PPE so no covic case at extra happy to be able to shop and not be over crowded or in a long line in the sun...

I feel harassed by the cashiers because they want customers to tip them, this is very bad, you as owners should remove those cans where they ask for money and if you dont give them money they get upset and pack your food super slowly ... they supposedly have a salary ???

A couple of weeks ago, I purchased Kraft’s Chipotle Mayo. I realized after getting home that it expired LAST YEAR!!! May 2016. I next day, I went to look for a fresh one and they all expired last year. I let the cashier know but no response. Went in yesterday and they’re all still there. If you shop here and you can handle the snobbish attitudes of some of the cashiers, check the expiration dates. And the packaged produce. Many of them has fresh produce on the top but old on the bottom. You will come across a few moldy pieces. Prices are good and the guys that stock has better attitudes than the cashiers.

Not bad, but the prices have increased drastically since the Maplewood Extra management took over. The only reason I gave them a 3 is because they have great variety of international and specialty foods. However, most of the cashiers speak very little English and lack good customer service. Also, the parking lot is terrible and could use a makeover...its very tight with too many potholes.

Nice place to shop. If you are looking for groceries, this is a nice and quiet place to shop. Price of certain things are little higher than that of Wal-Mart and Shoprite. Otherwise cant complain.

Some of the cashiers there are nice some dont care and as far as the actual store some if the items are a bit pricey unless theres a sale...seem like they have sales on the same items.

Extra super market is where you get what ever you want, you get it Cheap and good services.
