Nothing spectacular while shopping here for his and hers wedding bands. The customer service was sub-par, as our experience was with a distracted employee. Nice looking items, but sparse selection and higher than average prices.

Brittany was rude and unhelpful. I went to this location today with my mother in law - I got my wedding ring cleaned and inspected and my mother in law wanted to inquire about upgrading her current diamond. Brittany acted as though our upgrading questions were an annoyance to her and wasn’t worth her time. She was not even going to show us what the next carat size looked like until we had to ask her to see it in person.She treated us as though we did not belong there. We both have been Jared customers for over 5 years, visit their stores every 6 months on the dot for inspections and refer customers to their store. We are normally treated with exception customer service when we visit a store, and today we felt extremely uncomfortable and unwanted. When I mentioned to Brittany that she was being unhelpful, she told me that Jared will not write down any quoting information regarding their current available diamonds and we would have to come back when my father in law was ready to purchase. Will definitely be going to a different location.

Good customer service, but terrible quality in the products.My boyfriend bought me a promise ring here, and luckily paid extra for the insurance, because the stone (just a sapphire) fell out 3 or 4 times (I honestly have lost count now) over 2 years. They even replaced the entire ring once, not just the stone, and it still fell out again. I am a student; I dont use harsh chemicals or do any hard labor that should make it this fragile. It was a huge hassle to have to go in every 6 months-ish to get a new stone.Finally, on the last time the stone fell out, I asked to just exchange the ring for something else, since it clearly was not high enough quality to survive on my finger. I got pearl stud earrings and even paid extra to be able to carry over the insurance from the ring.I wore them perhaps 10 times before one of them fell out WHILE IN MY EAR. I searched everywhere I was that day to no avail, and Jareds (though they did offer me a discount on a new pair) did not honor the insurance, since it does not cover loss. Obviously I did lose one of them, no dispute there, but it was very frustrating that it did not count as defective goods (as it fell out of my ear, not out of a jewelry box or something) and I paid the extra insurance for nothing.Very frustrated to have wasted so much time and extra money here! The staff is mostly sweet and accommodating (though I did get some weirdly huffy/dismissive service once, probably because I am so young and unlikely to spend a lot.) I will never recommend Jareds to anyone else.

Ive been here numerous times to get Pandora for my family and girlfriend. Great service with great knowledge.I just have my girlfriend her engagement ring from here last week. She loved it! When I bought it I gave them my price range and they showed me all options. Helped me understand all aspects of what I was buying. Ill be a customer here permanently!

They make you feel like a criminal to get in. You have to take your mask off and smile for the camera. Then they lock you in. I think that is against fire code! Not worth the trouble to just find out that they dont service Omega anymore. The only reason I went there now and in the past, so no need to go back.

I needed to have an emergency repair done on my engagement ring. The jeweler the ring was purchased from was closed for renovations so we chose to go to Jared in Christiana to see if they could help. I was super stressed and nervous about leaving the ring and needed it repaired quickly. The customer service was excellent. They were very thorough with explaining what needed to be done and how long it would take. They promised a same day fix and they delivered. Then followed up with an email with before and after pics which included my gemscribe number. I can’t thank them enough for taking care of this so close to the wedding. The ring looks gorgeous and like brand new. The staff and manager did everything they could to ease my stress right before my wedding. I am thankful and appreciative. They now have a Jared client going forward. ❤️

Let me first start off with saying 5 stars are simply not enough. From the moment I walked through the door I was greeted with a smile which made me feel welcomed. The staff truly Amazing! The process Painless! Whatever type of jewelry youre looking for, do yourself a favor go to Jareds near the Christiana mall. I also cant leave out my jewelry specialist who deserves a commendation, a bonus raise, promotion. Ms. Elizabeth Anderson. Who went above and beyond to find me exactly what I was looking for . Charged me $250 to set a diamond in a earring. About 7 years ago i went to Jareds at a different location (2002/route 1) and had my diamond set in a Mens stud for around $150 so I decided to try Jareds again. I went to Littman Jewelers at the mall and they charge $129 for the same job. So I went with them.

Excellent customer service. Gabi and Lacey were exceptional, kudos to both of them for helping me with exactly what I needed. What I happened to need was a watch battery replacement, not something for a salesperson to get excited about, but both of these ladies were friendly, helpful, and professional. The fact that I was treated this way for something that made the store literally no money shows a lot of integrity that many salespeople are lacking these days. I will remember this store and their customer service team next time I am in the market for the products they offer (or more likely, I will tell my husband to shop at this store next time he needs to buy me a gift!)

My experience was outstanding. Elizabeth helped us and spent all the time we needed to get the perfect rings, so if you are going in for a purchase ask for her. She took care of all our needs and couldnt be anymore pleasant to work with and was very knowledgeable. All the staff was very nice and helpful and a big selection of rings. Jared jewelry is a great company to begin with and their selection in diamond is beautiful. I never went to any other Jared than the one at Christiana mall. What makes that store special is Lacey Rogers. Very smart, helpful, friendly, caring and most of all VERY PROFESSIONAL. She would never force a sale on you. Very honest with her customers and makes them feel welcomed at all times. She helped my fiancé with my engagement ring and when we went back to buy our wedding rings, she still went above and beyond to make us happy and made sure I have what I was looking for. I highly recommend asking for her if you want to enjoy shopping for what you’re looking for along with honesty.

Great service great experience consultants well lit. I have shopped at this particular Jarrett for Christmas presents, and birthday presents among other things and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly understanding what you want and not trying to guide you to spend more money than you want to spend. The store has merchandise to fit every ones finance. I even took my grandchildren there to purchase a gift for their mother with money that they saved themselves.

We got great service from Carol. She was very knowledgeable and personable. The rest of the staff is not always as competent. When they are busy, it seems to take 2 people to do one job. That said, they were far more attentive than all of the jewellers in the mall, next door, where we were only approached once visiting 5 stores.

So pleasantly surprised with the service! Took my watch in for repair, fully expecting it would just be sent out. I told the salesman I had already taken it somewhere else for a battery replacement and it didn’t fix the problem. He said “ let me just take a look “. He proceeded to take the whole thing apart and clean it out. He spent at least 20 minutes working on it, and lo and behold, he got it working again! When I asked him how much I owed him, he joked about remembering him if I win the Powerball. I didn’t catch his name unfortunately. I don’t know if they get paid commission but everyone was so nice and no one pressured me to buy anything (even though I was looking at other watches), and this repair potentially saved me hundreds of dollars that the manufacturer would have charged me. I will definitely go back when I need something.

This place was great, everyone tried to help me, yes I did show up right at closing so it was very empty. But everyone was nice, I had my pick of anything I wanted to see, they were VERY GREAT with things I had on file and brought them out right away, and the jeweler who fixed my 25 year old engagement ring was wonderful. After calling 4 other places who didnt have their own jeweler this was the place I let fix my ring.

I experienced great customer service. They were helpful and quick. They also have a lounge area to sit in with a TV and cappuccinos while waiting for them to service your jewelry. They can be a little pushy, but thats nothing unusual for a jewelry store.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. My boyfriend and I came to buy an engagement ring he had picked out earlier in the week with a very helpful salesperson, Anika. Unfortunately she was not working. We arrived & sat for 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Someone hurriedly walked by & said someone will be with you. This after several employees walked passed & just acted as if we werent there. Oddly, there were 2 sets of customers & 4 sales people working (maybe 5.) Two salespeople were chatting and then 1 went out front to smoke. What a nice classy jewelry store..not. At this point we left. The customer service here was just a HUGE disappointment on what should be such an exciting night!

We stopped in today to look at jewelry and were ignored for 15-20 minutes. Not one person acknowledged our existence. They were not terribly busy but even if they were a simple hello, someone will be with you shortly would have been nice. I guess being dressed for summer we didnt look classy enough for their store. We are absolutely blown away by the professionalism of the staff and craftsmanship of the wedding/engagement ring set. We had it built from scratch, and we couldn’t be happier. They first start with CAD drawings where you have the ability to make adjustments, next they make molds, and finally they produce the final product if the previous steps are approved by you. We went to the Jared’s galleria in Newark, DE. We had the privileged of working with Alex Krykewycz, and I will make the 3 hour round-trip for every single jewelery purchase! Thank you for everything! We couldn’t be any happier with our purchase!!

DO NOT GO TO JARED IN DELAWARE. I have never had a more disappointing, awful and just outright unacceptable experience. To make too long of a story short, we bought my engagement ring here and not once did they mess up my ring, but TWICE. The day of, they told us it would be ready in 5 hours, and when I came to pick it up, they had placed the center stone on the wrong prongs. When I explained to the jeweler that it was on the wrong prongs, he was just rude. My center stone was also off-center, and when I told him that, he snidely replied I wasnt looking that closely. Well I WAS, and YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN. After it was fixed a week and a half later, one of my prongs broke!!!!!!! I havent even had the ring for THREE WEEKS. When I took it back in AGAIN to to be fixed, the assistant manager was shocked that it had broken and immediately knew which jeweler it was (younger gentleman with long hair). Had it fixed (yet again) by a different jeweler. When I sat down with the general manager the next day to express my concerns, she pretty much laughed in my face and said she couldnt do anything. She never even apologized or took any responsibility for her staff!! Theres so much more to the story, and for that reason I am writing this WARNING to please not go here. Terrible customer service. They just dont care.

Avoid this store at all costs! They have turned what should have been the most exciting and happy time of our lives into the most unpleasant experience, often leaving me in tears. Their customer service is AWFUL. They truly do not care about you or if your rings are actually what you want.We did a custom engagement ring and from the start wanted to make sure a wedding band would sit flush with the ring. We were assured multiple times that this would be accomplished and the drawing alex did looked great, so we went ahead and placed the custom order. They were SO SLOW getting back to us with everything and would promise to call us with updates and then never would. So when we would call a week later asking for updates, they would act like we were bothering them and we were being so unreasonable asking for an update. We dealt with Elizabeth mostly and she made sure to treat us with no respect and always make us feel small.They outsource their CAD work, which they don’t tell you from the start, which is why it takes so long. It took 3 weeks to get a CAD drawing when they told us 3 days, so don’t believe any timeline they give you. They never knew what was going on with the CAD files when we called for updates and didn’t care enough to check up on it.We asked for a refund because we were so unsatisfird with them and they refused. When our contract date passed and we still didn’t have even a mold of the ring, we again asked for a refund, and they refused.Here we are a month later and guess what? A wedding band won’t sit flush with the engagement ring. When we went into the store to talk to elizabeth about it, we were told that we would have to do a custom band, which we were ASSURED in the beginning that we wouldn’t have to do. Or their other option was to cut into my custom engagement ring and undo all the custom work to make a band fit. Like really??I was in tears in the store because they were being so rude. Brittany was especially nasty before Elizabeth came in. Their response when I brought up that this was the whole point of us doing a custom engagement ring was “well what do you want us to do about it now”. How is that an acceptable response?So thanks Jared for turning my engagement into a stressful 3 months spent annoyed, angry, and crying. I wish i never stepped foot into your store.

Tl;dr: buy a rock and a ring off the internet, take it to a local jeweler to do the work.Not bad for a jewelry store? Brittany was nice and helpful, but the 3 other people I interacted with were kind of the worst.First annoyance was that I called to check if Brittany was there, since she had helped me initially find a few options in a catalog. Id picked the one I wanted and was ready to buy, but Brittany wasnt there that day. I asked if I could buy it anyway, since I knew exactly what I wanted, and was told that I could. I drove there only to be told that I couldnt buy it because Brittany wasnt there, they didnt have anything on file, and they didnt want to mess up the order. So I left.Fast forward, ring came in. The jeweler missed a few spots of the brushed finish, so I asked if that could be redone. Had some hot chocolate while I waited, which was tasty. Afterward, on a closer inspection I could see the prongs were sloppily bent and shaped onto the diamond. I could probably do better with one of those foam nail files and tiny pliers.Had to get it resized smaller. The first time someone measured my fiances hand, they did it wrong, so Brittany measured a second time and they resized it again. After that, the bottom of the ring looked bad. It was at least 50% thinner, and the thinned out portion was off center and slightly bent.I didnt realize how bad it was until a friend had their ring resized, and it actually looked good. I took it in to fix the issue, and they said that it was normal for the band to get thinner when resizing due to filing. Her disdain was palpable. They did clean it for me though.It does seem common for jewelry stores to be snootily content with archaic methods and unreasonable prices, so I cant hold it against them too much. Still, its basically $500 down the drain, since Im going to get a new ring once I can afford it.Thankfully I got the diamond online- its lab made, impeccable, and was way cheaper than normal. I only got swindled for the 14k piece of scrap metal that my fiance is wearing.
