The best scooter shop in New York City hands down! I went to a bunch of shops and purchased a scooter from another shop on the east side, but within two weeks I was questioning battery life, safety, and efficacy of the scooter. I called this shop and spoke to Max and scheduled a test ride. I came to the shop and spoke with Dina, who was absolutely amazing and informative. The scooter rides so well, absorbs impact from the potholes, is so sturdy, and feels so much safer with dual brakes. The most important thing is knowing that if anything goes wrong you can always stop by the store to get it serviced. They also offer warranties. I first came to Inokim when I was having issues with another brand of scooter in June 2019. After a quick test ride, I was out the door with an OX model, which I have been using ever since; The craftsmanship is top notch on all of their vehicles.On top of that, anytime I ever have any sort of issue with my OX, they are always able to fix it at a fair rate.Whether it be any accidental damage or something as simple as a flat.I highly recommend anyone looking for an electric scooter to take a trip to the team at Inokim. customer service and products are the best around!

I came to the store after having done a lot of online research. The staff were helpful and made points and recommendations that turned my online research upside down. After a few test rides, I walked out with the Light 2 Max which is a perfect fit for my needs (commuting within Manhattan). This scooter, as advertised by the staff in the store, goes up to 21 mph and will take you as far as 25 mi (I weigh approx. 170 lbs); 22 miles in to a full charge it will start slowing down. Its also pretty compact and fits easily in my apartment. I also got a free helmet, phone holder, and scooter bag with the purchase. If youre considering an e-scooter purchase visit this store!

The best inokim store in America!!! They fixed my inokim XO by one day, and it looks and feels like new!! At another inokim store, they fixed not such a great... employers very nice and friendly!

I bought a used Inokim off eBay and thought it would be a good idea to have it checked out. I stupidly showed up without an appointment but Dina was helpful in getting their tech to work on my ride the same day. She even stayed past 7pm to wait for me when I picked it up a few hours later. Their tech, whose name was Alex I think, helpfully explained to me all the work he had done and his general impressions about my used scooters condition. Very happy with the service and would happily trust them to do work again. Thank you!

I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the team over at Inokim. From the first time i entered their store, I was amazed with the level of competence and customer service that was provided. They are dedicated to giving the customer a clear, no b.s. experience when it comes to owning and maintaining an e scooter. I wish more businesses were like this one. Had a problem with my scooter and found these guys online. Really easy to make an appointment, went down and they took care of it, and also helped with extra questions and other things. Will definitely be going there whenever I need anything for the scooter and had I known about them prior to purchasing, would have bought from them in first place.

I had an issue with my scooter, where it wasnt charging properly. They told me to bring in the scooter and recommended replacing my charger with a new one and replaced the plug in on my scooter. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Unfortunately I didnt catch the teams name but they were extremely polite and customer service was great.Tried out my scooter today and its driving like day 1.

I have been searching for inokim light 2. I initially found via FB post some store name fluid... something. They have nice deal and well made video about scooter. I send them message via FB messenger but no reply, then I check some comment on there post in Facebook. I saw lots of complaints about them not answering, replying to there customer neglecting them. Then I found out that theres Inokim shop in NYC, first I send them a message and this guy Max reply to me answering all my queries and he is the owner of this shop. Even though they have higher price on the light 2 for me its not just the product that Im looking for, I dont like a dealer that will sell you item and once your out of the store your nothing to them, your just another buyer. I want a store or shop that you can always come by or ask them about what youve bought to them. I know its quite long now but that Im trying to say is this NYC Inokim shop by Max together with Mika and Aiden is the best shop to deal with.Just a side story.I was so excited in unboxing my light 2 that when I was going to charge it I grab the wrong charger (Onewheel pint). I send a picture to max saying that I received a wrong charger. But upon checking again I found that I took the wrong charger. Max called me and was going to send someone with a new charger via Uber from NYC to NJ, Mind you shop is already close. By this simple gesture you will know that you are with the best Inokim shop, Owner/ team. 10 star for this location.

Came into the store a couple of weeks ago to test drive the Inokim Light 2, and they kindly let me drive one around the block. The scooter was very comfortable but the brakes seemed weak but I imagine its from all the test drives. The showroom was clean and nicely set up. I ended up finding a better deal locally from Philip with a discount of over 300 dollars! This is a great place to come check out the scooters!

Riding a Inokim OX SUPER. If you’re looking for “AAA” standard don’t hesitate to check this Brand. And please do stop by in our Inokim Shop/Dealer. It’s a One stop shop with reliable people and full of knowledge in this electric machine era. Alot of scooters came in the market these days but don’t get blinded with it. This is a real deal quality build with sophisticated and robust machine. Been tested already from flat surface to trails and the recent winter storm. I’m not recommending to ride on wet surface but I’m telling you the machine gives a good balance and control in my experience riding on snowy and slushy surface. I’m still loving the whole unit since day 1. I’m riding 2 scooters but this is my go to performance machine, The Inokim OX. P.S. Prepare your words for your units because you’ll meet alot of people asking about your head turner Inokim and yes it gives boost of confidence riding around the city. Thank you Inokim!

Well they are right here in the city and have a full service center. Aside from that. My experience with my Inokim Ox Super scooter as well as my experience at the Inokim NYC shop have been phenomenal. With respect to my Ox Super, I purchased it way back in the summer of 2019. As of September 2021, I have put approximately 10,000 miles on the scooter! My Super has performed far beyond my expectations. I havent had any major problems or malfunctions at all. The mechanical aspects of my Super have been excellent along with the electronic aspects. It just works. And then works some more. It is astonishing how many miles I have put on my Super without experiencing a single major issue. The durability, reliability, and consistency of my Super are all top level.But my original decision to purchase the Super wasnt driven by those things. I purchased the Super because it is gorgeous. I am into beautiful design and the Ox is in my opinion by far and away the best looking scooter I have ever seen. In my experience, solid, thoroughly thought-out and beautiful design often implies a level of quality that ends up lasting longer than lesser-designed products. Simply put, it is way harder to design something that functions and is beautifully formed than it is to design something that merely functions. From a purely visual/visceral perspective, having an Ox Super is kind of like having a foldable Ferrari. People stare. People ask questions. People take photos. Every single day.With respect to the Inokim NYC shop, I have had excellent experiences with the sales and mechanical staff. They pay attention. They know who you are and which scooter is yours. They know what you need and they take care of business. They respect their product line and they are definitely proud of it. They should be.Over the course of 3 years, I have only visited the shop for normal wear and tear repairs (tires, brakes et cetera) because nothing major has gone wrong with my Super. Good experience. Quick and efficient. They assembled the scooter for me and showed me everything I needed to know. Ready to ride! I had previously owned more of a beginner scooter and bought the OX to take it to another level. It is a beast. The #1 reason I bought it was safety: This thing is weighted low, has a low deck, AND has wide handlebars, none of which my other scooter had. Fast and reliable. All of the accessories are the perfect addition. I love my colorful pouch and the helmet. The scooter itself is great. The battery lasts very long and it recharges super fast. It’s also not too heavy compared to the scooters I’ve tried with the same speed capabilities.

Making a decision about an e-scooter was not simple for me. I researched many makes and models, watched countless videos and read many reviews about them. When I came across Inokim, I knew I had found what I was looking for. It was stylish, durable, portable, and fun! I bought my Inokim Ox Super from their New York City store on Bleecker Street. Micah, the salesman, showed me their different models and let me take them out for a test drive. While the Ox was on the heavier side, the suspension was amazing while riding the bumpy streets and Manhattan. It’s top speed of 28mph allows me to keep up with city traffic. Get the “Super” model with an LG battery, not the less reliable Chinese battery. It gives you more power and more range.The service at Inokim has been excellent. When I needed some minor adjustments, I was in and out of the shop in no time. The mechanic is there during the week and can fix most things on the spot. Buying my Inokim from a brick and mortar store was much better than buying it from an online retailer. Now, I have a person and a place to bring my scooter if it has an issue, rather than dealing with a person out of state and over the phone. Do yourself a favor. Check out and buy an Inokim from the guys on Bleecker. They’ll probably throw in some accessories too! They have made me a very happy customer.

I wasn’t going to leave any review but Max actually called me later on that day to accuse me of writing a negative review about him. I think he’s not the Max he used to be as I read these reviews about him, all I did was inquire about having a tube in stock, something I would consider normal, and the first person he calls about someone else leaving negative review is me and it is at this moment when I decided to write this review, everything that I writing actually occurred which is why I am writing this as a warning for people, I was at work and not even thinking about this at all...I got a flat on the rear tire of an inokim light 2, which I did not buy from him, I mean come on he can’t expect that every inokim scooter on the streets of NY to come from his shop, but the crazy thing is thats exactly what he expects, his buy from us or else policy, really isn’t doing him any favors or at least I hope it’s the case,Max I understand sales have been low lately and there seems to be competition everywhere you turn buying a tube from the inokim store however was a major headache.....I just wanted to support the brand... I was cross shopping higher end scooters across multiple brands, but ultimately I went with the inokim oxo and bought local in the brick and mortar shop on bleeker street - there were cheaper alternatives, but for such a big investment, it was important to have a local shop that could help service and maintain my investment. I bought a Inokim scooter model oxo about a month ago and i got to say that they set the bar extremely high! From performance, built quality and aesthetic this e-scooter it’s on point! The suspension it’s mind blowing too. I did 17 miles of off-road and it handle the trail without any problem. Also, I got to say that the costumer service is crazy good! I shipped the scooter to Puerto Rico and I ask the team to send me a piece of the scooter that I need it and they send it for free! They answered all my questions really fast and were super kind and responsible with me! I’m beyond happy with the scooter and the team that they have! Amazing product with the greatest costumer service!

My husband and I were in search of a scooter to ride to our local downtown and simply use as an easy and fun way to get around. The INOKIM OXI scooter is that and more!!!! Such a sturdy build with an ultra smooth ride and a wide foot platform that makes longer rides extremely comfortable. I love the three speed levels also. The auto cruise control was unexpected but So nice to have. The handles are very comfortable also. I need to adjust the brakes as they are a tad “touchy” but very effective. Just in the week that we have owned them I have been stopped numerous times by people asking about them. Would highly recommend INOKIM and Max, our sales representative from NY. was exceptionally responsive in getting us all set up. We are located in FL and he got everything to us in ONE day!!!! He gave us a follow up call to make sure everything arrived and to make sure we were happy with everything. Best customer service from an online shopping experience ever!

Purchased an inokim ox a few days ago and let me tell you, if you are looking to go from A to B to Z this is the right choice. The speed, range and looks set these scooters into a class of their own. Just purchased an OXO from their showroom in NYC. Dealt with Mika, he was great and threw in some goodies. Scooter was ready for use and I walked right out onto the road! The owner of the store, Max, gave me a call which was unexpected and gave me a rundown on how to use the scooter. Very nice customer service. Amazing solid scooter, worth every penny.Edit 10/02/2020: Had some minor issues with the scooter. Took it to the shop, they tuned and fixed up what was needed. Amazing customer service.Update 06/16/2021: Battery dies on me with 3 bars remaining on screen. Not even a year riding this scooter. I ride it every day and have clocked 1600 miles on the odometer. For that I deduct 2 stars. Other than that the scooter is still solid but Battery life is very bad. Be prepared to shell out $600 for new a battery every 6-8 months if using every day.

After considering bikes, ebikes and electric scooters I chose to go with a scooter for the combination compact size, speed and range. I did lots of research and Inokim stood out as the clear best product. The purchase experience was extremely smooth, the staff was knowledgeable, and the price for the scooter for the quality you’re getting is unbeatable. I have extra peace of mind knowing that the brand stands behind their product and offers repairs and service in-store, something none of these cheapie amazon brands can do. I’m leaving a fantastic review for this placeI’m going to write about the pros and cons I experienced buying a scooter from Inokim, but I want to state that in the end they earned themselves 5-stars and no less!I initially tried deciding between buying an Inokim OXO from the Inokim store in NYC, online, or through Fluidfreeride.com. Fluid offered a great deal! They offered the scooter for $2,700 + $150 off + an extra $100 worth of accessories. I thought that this deal couldn’t get better, but they were sold out of the OXO, and I noticed that the Inokim NYC store still had a few in stock. I inquired about the scooter through customer service chat on Inokim’s website and to my surprise the store’s owner, Max, responded. I told him that fluid had a great deal but that I was interested in buying the scooter straight from Inokim, and he matched Fluid’s deal in accessories for me! He even offered same day delivery, and delivered on that promise. I was very happy with the sweet deal I got.The OXO was delivered to me by Max personally the same day around 9pm. Unfortunately, when the scooter arrived its front tire was flat. I was disappointed, but that didn’t discourage Max. He tried to pump it back up right then and there. He couldn’t because there was a hole in the tube. Max apologized, took it back with him, left me with the accessories he promised, and promised that he’d have the problem resolved and the scooter re-delivered to me the next day between the time that was convenient for me. That’s exactly what he did! Around 1pm I received the scooter all fixed up and ready to go.I enjoyed the hell out of it for 2 weeks until I started noticing some defects. For example, the front brake had inadequate pressure so I was pretty much limited to using the rear brake only; the brake pads on both wheels were rubbing against the rotor and making a scratching noise (the noise was faint on one wheel and louder on the other); the scooter was making a strange, worrying clicking noise around its folding mechanism, and right after the second week or so, the throttle began to occasionally jam (although that might have been my fault because I didn’t receive the scooter with a jammed throttle). Needless to say I was extremely disappointed.I decided to text Max to tell him about the problems I was experiencing. He called me back immediately (great customer service) explained everything that I was experiencing, told me everything with my scooter is easily fixable and that everything was going to be ok. He asked me to bring my scooter into the Inokim store in NYC where I live and that his technician would fix it all for free based on the 1 year manufacturers warranty that came with my scooter.Max did exactly that. He completely came through on his promise and honored the scooters warranty. Once I brought my scooter in his technician fixed every single problem, same day, within about 2 hours. I’m currently sitting on the train on my way back home excited and happy as hell.Max is literally the best, and so is the staff at Inokim.
