This was one of the best riesling we have ever tried. The staff was friendly and helpful. The experience was far better than your big box stores. It’s a great tucked into a tiny spot. It’s a must visit!

Great selection, very welcoming and friendly staff, even welcomes my Pit Bull with treats. Sometimes walk out of my way just to patronize this establishment because of the atmosphere. Reaaonable prices especially for lower Manhattan. PS: I wasnt sure if it was appropriate to mention names but after reading other reviews I agree Heather is the greatest.

The best wine store South of Canal Street.The Corkery Is an unusual NYC wine store. It’s not the only store with a well curated,interesting list of wines from smaller growers. It’s not the only store with informed staff, and original staff descriptions offices. But in the downtown neighborhood, where many stores charge substantial, even egregious margins, it’s rare to find a store that combines excellent stock with excellent prices.I have been to at least 24 wine stores South of Canal, most of them many times. There are a couple of jewels. This is the store that I keep returning to most of all because it gets everything right.

I order from them daily through the drizzly app but I had to place a large order so I figured I would go into the store and meet the people that are kind enough to deliver my medicine everyday lol what a good group of people. Very knowledgeable about their product. They gave me suggestions on scotch’s I haven’t tried yet and your recommendations were spot on!

Great store...I used to go there when they were California Wine Merchants. Now, under new management they are even better. There are a lot of changes but all for good. The selection is bigger, the prices are lower and ambience is nicer. And the employees/owners are as nice as previous one. Cheers!

Awesome local wine/spirit store. Great selection of wine and the staff know the right pairings for the food you are preparing, amazing what white wines go with a Big Mac meal. Excellent neighborhood booze emporium. Well conserved selection and they do their best on price. For a small place in FiDi, its the best in the immediate area. The customer service is attentive, if occasionally less knowledgeable than ideal.

A very large selection of both red and white wine under $20 with a wide variety of types. Helpful staff, clean and well organized. A true gem for grabbing wine on the way home from work!

This place may look like the type of high end place you avoid because there are cobwebs in your wallet. Dont! I work down in the area and discovered it walking to the train one day. They had a wine tasting so I went in. Taylor and Jen were there and they welcomed as if I was coming into their home. We talked about the wine being tasted and about other wines and spirits, the neighborhood.Since that first day, I have come back on many occasions. I will travel into the city to buy wine or spirits from parties or friends than use the one down the block from my house. They have your high end wines, along with wines that taste high end for $9.99 to $13. They taste everything in the store. And, it all tastes wonderful.

The staff is knowledgable and is super helpful with recommendations! The wine tastings they offer on Fridays is also a great way to know what youre buying.
