The wine and beers I ordered from this shop were outstanding and tasted great. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was also spotless, shiny, and fashionable. Its a wine shop with a lot of bottles, but the owner is the heart of the place. He is a wonderful, easygoing, and gracious guy who allows you to sample a variety of wines while entertaining you with poetry and philosophy. Hes also a very artistic guy, so if you come in, hell show you some cool stuff. I will most certainly return!

The wine selection is great here. The gentleman that helped me was extremely friendly and offered many suggestions. They take measures to ensure safety during Covid19 which is always appreciated. They also have a nice selection of hard booze. Great neighborhood shop!

One of the best neighborhood wine stores Ive seen in NYC. Carry a solid assortment of spirits too at sharp pricing. It wont beat Astor but it beats most other liquor stores you might go to

September Wines & Spirits it being very busy during the valentines weekend, Ray made sure to give us his undivided attention when he had the chance. We saw him juggling parties with their tasting and he treated them all the same. Hes very knowledgable in September Wines & Spirits.

Offers a small but unique selection of wines across the globe. Was offered a glass on the way in to try. Spoke to the staff to get some recommendations and I ended up with the perfect choice. Do speak to them - they seem to enjoy giving you recommendations!

Been going for about a decade now! This is a place that feels like home. Wines are on point, price is good, staff is always helpful and the playlist is pretty good too. It’s got the range.

Selection was curated perfectly to find what you were looking for and the knowledgeable staff was extremely helpful as well as made excellent recommendations. A lot of things you’ll find here, you won’t find elsewhere, which is a a nice treat. Definitely my go to spot in my neighborhood.

The prices on their own app are higher than in store. they dismiss this as a service charge but actually its not transparent in the app - the listed price is just higher.

I live near this shop and Ive finally had enough. Its a shame the staff here is so condescending and rude because they actually have a decent wine selection. Never again though - Id rather walk a block or two than deal with the pretentious staff again.

Doesn’t stand behind wine they sell. Bought an expensive vintage champagne because they were out of cold bottles of Krug. Was recommended something else, and it tasted corked. Brought it back, first person to try was unsure, second insisted it was not corked. Would not offer to take it back. I bought a different ($90) bottle of wine but will discontinue going here when I have a choice. They literally and figuratively left a bad taste in my mouth.
