My neighborhood favorite! The staff is so wonderful, fun and knowledgeable-and remember what I like and suggest other things. Plus a huge selection of bubbly and some special whiskeys and great specials on a case of wine. Plus Stuyvesant town residents get 10% off And they deliver.

Love Rouge & Blanc! Everyone who works there is extremely nice and helpful. They know what my husband and I like, and they make recommendations whenever we come in. Great deals too! When we were considering moving from the neighborhood, we were most sad to lose Rouge & Blanc. Lucky for us, we decided to stay!

Every encounter he greets me with a smile and positive energy, if I’m having a rough shift when I leave the store I feel much better.

Excellent wine recommendations! I came to ask for a nice bubbly similar to one of my favorites -- Roederer Estate -- and he suggested a delicious Louis Pommery from California that was even yummier than the Roederer. He also suggested a really lovely SauVignon Vin de Pays du Val de Loire that we will buy again. All fairly priced.

This is my go to spot. Staff/owners are very knowledgeable and always steer me in the right direction. Great variety and selection of wine. The multiple bottle discounts are also a nice touch.

If ever there were a time for community, this would be that time. If ever there were a time for conversation, for sharing the challenges and sometimes even the joys with a friendly neighbor, a friend - then this would be that time. And THAT is what one finds at Rouge et Blanc. Its beyond the bottle well chosen, the expert guidance. Its the caring that counts - the concern for the reason behind the purchase - the what of celebration, the why of a misplaced frown that somehow walks out of the store as a grin. And so, this is family. This is home. And I am grateful for this special little community that can turn a bottle of wine into a glorious moment well shared! Heres to the Rouge et Blanc team - and the joy they bring!

This place was great! We especially liked the superb sales help! It was not pushy and he didnt hover, but asked us what we wanted and needed and made a recommendation. He made shopping there easier and fast. We also loved the tasting. Despite not living near here we will be coming back at some point.

This is a great liquor store. Staff is very nice and helpful. Jason is a great resource. He picked out wines for me for a large crowd and every one was a hit. If I order and they don’t have something I leave it up to Jason.

I’ve never tried this place but since I am living near, I will do very near future.Last Tuesday May 5, I was on a bicycle and dropped my Iphone11 with credit cards, a driver’s license, and all important things in a phone cover. I searched many times around the area, reported to police and checked “Find IPhone” system which designated my phone was in the store. I was desperate and asked an Asian man at cashier if they found my phone (my iPhone was Indicated as iphone 6s in the system but it’s was in fact 11), he said no. I was setting an alarm and heard the alarm in store front. I asked a staff/delivery man whose name was Juan if he knew my phone, he said he knew it and picked up my phone from his delivery container, I was delighted.Although he removed my SIM card and kept in a cover (don’t know why), everything, card, drivers license, metro card were there. I thanked him and he said he was busy thus could not pass my phone to police or anyone, I understood. Losing phone was my fault and I was glad my phone was back. Thanks Juan, I will be back to buy wines and to say thank iii again.

This was my favorite wine store and I shopped here twice a week and often had wine delivered. Really friendly staff except for the manager, Ken, who was very rude to me. Sad to say that as a result, I wont be patronizing Rouge & Blanc any longer. There are several other wine stores in the neighborhood that value their customers and treat them with courtesy.

It is a clean and esthetic pleasing store. Which is pretty well stocked for being in a small space. The gentleman at the cash register was very nice and helpful. The lady doing the wine tasting was extremely great at promoting and explaining the wines; although this isnt her typical store. The problem was the owner/manager. I am not sure why, but he interacted with me in a very negative fashion. Maybe he was having a bad day, although he seemed fine to others...What happened?Well, I live in PCVST and I wanted to inquire about the discount I had remembered seeing in an email, or a newsletter or our Facebook page-- plus it was mentioned on a display on a table-- but didnt state what the discount was.I asked the lady, but see didnt know as it wasnt her store, so she referred me to the manager/owner.After waiting for him to finish with another customer, I asked him. He seemed to became agitated with me and evasive started to answer and walked away- he didnt seem to want to answer. Then he came back and began talking to me in an accusatory fashion and he took on condescending tone. Being talked down to, frustrates me a lot, as it would most people.I thought it was a very rude and an offensive way to respond to my simple question. Especially since I already had 2 bottles in my hand for purchase.Being very agitated (dare I say pissed), I held bad my anger and decided to keep a calm tone while dragging out this awkward situation. I began apologizing for asking my question. And stating I was very sorry for trying to inquire about a discount that was being advertised. He finally calmed down, and after several minutes partially explained the discount to me. I guess he realized he was in the wrong--BUT NEVER did he apologize.Yea, so I dont plan on going back there. Why would I?There are several other places in our neighborhood that would happily take my money in exchange for wine and a pleasant experience in the process-- OH and they are happy to give me my NYU discount.Well that was my experience.

Meh. The staff are friendly, but a bit condescending. Like to think of themselves as connoisseur’s but they don’t really value quality, just seem to have a desire to sale a lesser known product.Their stocks are a bit poorly maintained, more often they do not have what I would like.More of a wine place than a hard liquor place.
