I purchased two belts, men’s black with a grey etching of the NYC skyline, the other, a woman’s grey belt with a gold buckle. These are luxurious and stylish belts, comparable to the top brands of the world. I was told the leather was Spanish, my buckle is solid brass gold plated. As a jeweler myself, I look for quality and detail, custom fit and creative design. Five stars to Badichi for executing all of the above!

I received my belt in the mail yesterday. To begin, my order arrived beautifully and thoughtfully packaged. The quality and the craftsmanship of this belt is amazing. The leather is buttery soft and each minute detail pertinent to the overall design. First attracted by photogenic windows, we got inside and bought a custom-tailored belt for our teenage daughter. Its very difficult to find something for a smaller waist in a regular supermarket, so this was a fantastic solution for us and also a beautiful souvenir from NYC. I went in 2 years ago and it was fun figuring out your perfect combination of belt style and buckle. Bought 2 belts here. Definitely enjoyed the experience. While i cant speak for the metal buckles, where i had problems was with longevity of the color coated buckles. The coating on the black buckle started chipping off first since I was using it daily. My second belt was a white belt with blue accents and a red buckle that i bought for golfing. The red buckle started chipping off as well though i didnt use that belt as often. Had to stop wearing the black belt a few months after purchase. I still wear white belt once in a while. I feel that you pay for the experience and customization but the color coated buckles dont last. The belts themselves did not show much wear so they were good.

They were the only ones I could find that had a good looking yellow suede belt, something I have been looking for.Here is a quick criteria of things I was impressed with:1. We arrived near closing time, but the store manager still helped us find exactly what we were looking for. They sell custom belts. There are about three thicknesses and many dozens of styles, colors and embossing. You can select the buckle, the rivets and the leather. Then the store manager will size, cut and assemble the belt for you while you are there in the store. If you want to ensure the right fit, I recommend that you bring the clothes youll wear with you to this place. That way you will be certain that it fits perfectly for the pants or skirt that you will wear with this belt

I really love the belt I bought at badichi . first of all it is very unique and stylish before I bought it I look at many other belt option but a I didnt find anything that was like that contrast tip design elsewhere.The quiltey was great too its soft Italian leather and the service was nice and helpful Im sure to come back again

Not really a fashionista, but I do have to admit that they have nice looking belts. Its a simple concept: choose the belt strap that you like, then the belt buckle of your choice, and then one of the associates assembles it for you (attaching both parts together). The downside...the prices are extremely high for my liking, close to $200 with the strap and buckle combined; however, its good to get ideas of what type of belts you like so that you can find alternatives for less.

This specific store location gives great service. Buckles are sold from $30 and up, but they have plenty for sale ($15 - $19). Better rush there before sales are over !!

My wife and I were out exploring SOHO and had no plans to go into a belt store and did not have a belt on my mind list of wants or needs. IF you are lucky enough, Yinon (the stockboy AKA owner) will be in and able to help you. What a standup guy and a fast friend. He takes a tremendous about of pride in his work and product. If you need a belt (like I didnt), this is your place! They make it in your presence and you get to make it yours.... choose the letter, choose, the buckle, get waisted (sized), and have a belt that is truly yours. The quality of the leather products here is very good, so I can use it for a long time.

I bought two belts and buckles identical except for size. After 6 months of both getting the same amount of use the finish on one of the buckles chipped away. I tried to return it to the store and after trying to say it was tarnish (its not, the finish its actually flaking off) told me I could still wear it like that.

That is only one place in NYC where you can order belt, what you want and make you in the minute. I highly recommend.

My folks were in town and my father wanted to find the belt store he went to a few years ago because the belt he bought broke (the buckle, not the strap). We walked in and Eitan greeted us and immediately began talking to us. We were about to walk out but I suggested to my father he get another belt.Eitan kept the conversation flowing, he was both a great conversationalist and a jokster. Really made the whole experience (yes, Im calling buying a belt here, an experience) worth it. Before I knew it, I was looking at a belt and ended up getting one made. Eaitan went through everything with my father and I from the leather to the buckles to the subtle accents you could choose.Sure its a $100+ belt, and you could easily go to Macys or any other store around to get a belt for far less, but the whole customer experience here was simply incredible, and quality of the product is fantastic. I will gladly go back to get a belt here soon, just to buy from eitan again!
