I was looking forward to being a frequent and loyal customer however my experience was less than satisfactory!! I was told that the glitch on the website to change shipping address was “no big deal just email or text me your order # and the correct address.” I was still skeptical and voiced my concern. I made it abundantly clear I did not want to purchase the hat unless it could be shipped to the proper address. I was assured it would be no problem just go ahead and order it right now then text me the address. Of course when I got the confirmation email that it was on the way the address was still incorrect. I reached out with no luck!! Mind u when he was trying to make the sale he had no problem answering the phone three separate time that day and as soon as I made the purchase…nothing no answer no response to texts. You lost a great potential customer I buy 5 to 10 $60 hats every 3 months for my son and he always wants the latest special edition. I will not be purchasing from this website or store ever again. Even an apology for dropping the ball would have maybe changed my view however they don’t care only thinking about that one sale not the future! There loss I would have been supporting their business for years to come instead they made $79 off me when it could have been thousands.

I’m incredibly impressed with this company, its product, and how it is run. The hats are beautiful, original, well-made, and collectors items. But more than that, Diallo knows how to run a business. He knows how to keep his customers happy. He is an honorable and compassionate businessman who operates with integrity and humanity. I will shop for hats nowhere else!

Huge selection of caps is good. Prices are high though. New Era caps have the black lining on the inside. The hat I bought had the white lining. Authenticity is questionable for the price. Ijs.

Maybe thousands.I remember the way hats used to be — 6 panel wool, sewn crown eyelets, leather or pure cotton sweat bands, and a felt logo stitched on.Now, they come with a big gold sticker on the top side of the peak proclaiming something or other and a square tag dangling from somewhere around the backside.Do not remove these labels — they are part of the style.What to do when you really need a St Louis Cardinal bright red wool cap and this is your last trip to the USA? Go the land of a thousand caps up on 125th Street.It is not a chain.

Nice selection on hats and color ways. Love supporting local black businesses but they getting greedy with it now. They were selling New Era hats at a reasonable 45 dollar price point back in March and they are now charging 60 dollars for them now (slowly increasing 5 dollars in price with each online drop). That’s also without including shipping and their customer service isn’t the best. No hate, but hopefully when the hat hype dies out they’ll stop charging resell prices on their hats. Till then, I will be supporting other local hat businesses that have the same hats at a much reasonable price.

I’ve ordered about 10 amazing hats from this place with tracking provided and no longer than a week wait. and only once have i received a wrong hat but when i did, the same day i received it i was able to contact them and get a return label and they sent out my correct hat quick. this place is a 5 star hat store with quality service!

This is one of the most unprofessional businesses I have ever purchased anything from. They sent me the wrong size hat and then did not respond to emails at all. Finally, I called the store and they told me to pay for my own shipping label which they would refund later. They also said they would exchange for the right size but ended up refunding me entirely. There’s so many better places to buy fitteds. They have NO customer support. You can tell by the 50 typos on their site they’re lazy and don’t take their business seriously.

I was a regular customer since 2003 when they were up the block on 125th until today all of male workers are great but the lady i believe is the owner is really rude and is cheating the customers she tried to charge me an extra 30 bucks for a jacket which had the price of 150 she told me 180 and she said if you dont like the price buy it from mitchell and ness and put the jacket behind the counter with an attitude... she lost a good faithful customer in me.. me and my peoples will not shop there ever again shout out to the men that who work there they are dope and the security at the door is also a good brother peace to them but I will not spend my money there again .

Great hats but do NOT order if you’re not sure what you want or you accidentally order. People aren’t lying when they say they have horrible customer service. Not only did they send me a wrong hat, but they also didn’t communicate through phone, email, or dm to correct that and another order. Terrible customer service and I refuse to buy from them again.

The door man is way too aggressive and blocks the path to the merchandise but once you get past Shrek, all is amazing and original. If you cant find your head gear here you need to just hang it up and just do rainbow hair
