Very reputable jeweler. My husband purchased an engagement ring from MDC Diamonds 17 years ago (this was the largest online purchase he had ever made) with fingers crossed that it was everything it was advertised. He had it appraised at two different high-end jewelers in Boca Raton, FL. Both jewelers stated he received exactly what was advertised, and thought the price he paid was superb. We upgraded my wedding band 7 years ago and shipped my engagement ring to NY to ensure a good fit. The rings came back looking as if they were a set, just perfect. This year, I lost a diamond in one of my rings, so I contacted MDC Diamonds and they came to the rescue, AGAIN. In the middle of the Christmas rush, they took great care of us again. My rings still look absolutely fabulous and look brand new. I contacted MDC just five days ago because my wedding is tomorrow and in the past two months we have received/returned two crooked and damaged custom claddagh rings from two different local jewelers near us. The website says to contact for rush orders and my wedding was only six days away so I decided I had nothing to lose to at least inquire. We purchased my engagement ring from MDC Diamonds in 2004 and had a wedding ring made to match. Sadly the center stone fell out. (Lesson learned: get those prongs checked regularly!). Moishy was so helpful in selecting a replacement stone and making sure the ring (which has side diamonds) was made perfectly to match with my wedding band. I found MDC Diamonds on Etsy when looking for wedding ring sets, I liked what I saw but they werent what I was looking for, so I went to the website. I ordered a setting online with the wrong sized diamond. Moishy called me later the next day to discuss the purchase slightly upsold me on a larger diamond, but nothing obscene or costing much more. During the pandemic all businesses are taking a bit longer, but he made sure I had the ring on time. Ive never seen something more sparkling... except my fiancees eyes when she said yes.

I can not say enough great things about MDC. A few months ago, I lost my wedding ring and I was heart broken. I absolutely loved it and would never have had it upgraded or changed in any way. After searching for the exact same setting and not finding it, I settled for something close to it from another jeweler. When I received the ring, it just didnt wow me. I was looking for an engagement ring and saw someone was selling one they bought from MDC Diamond. I decided to go to the source and was impressed with how much information they provided on the website. I never fully realized how much went into choosing a diamond and ring. I was in constant contact with Moishy and there were so many quick responses. Hi Rosa,I received the ring and it is absolutely stunning! It is exactly what I wanted and well worth the wait! The channel cut sapphires surrounding the diamond flower crown is gorgeous and really allows the center diamond to standout. The shade of blue in the sapphires is exactly what I wanted and is beautiful in any lighting. The team did such beautiful work from designing the CAD, to cutting the sapphires, setting the stones, as well as executing all the fine detail in engraving the milgrain. I can only begin to understand how hard it must have been to work with such small spaces, with all the curves to cut the stones to fit so perfectly. I bought directly from their location. It is not a typical store (which is a good thing since they can offer very competitive prices). Very happy with my purchase. If you live in another state then you can have shipped to you (FedEx insured) and save a ton on taxes. One of the side diamonds (called friends) had fallen off after a few months but I returned the ring and they put a new one in for free. Great customer service. Rosa is great.

Very Easy to work with and not pushy at all, they have tons and tons of blanks and rings to look at and you arent in a showroom with people crowded around. You can sit down at a desk and they will go through what you are looking for. I went in basically knowing the ring and stone I wanted but I still took some time to look at similar styles and they were very accommodating. I went to them because they were the only jeweler I found with unique 3 stone designs, all the others seemed to be basic 3 stones on a band.

I was skeptical at first dealing with an online vendor. The online service was fantastic, but I was still reluctant to send my wifes diamond to be placed in a new setting. Great Experience.Let me help fellow shoppers on why this store is not a scam (which was my main concern when I first bumped into their web page).There is only around 100 reviews on google, which is not that much, however, it is a jewelry shop which means they do not have that much flow of customers.Furthermore, the reviews go back as far as 8 years (which is the biggest sign). Usually scammer reviews are very close in date. If you really search into the web, you will not be able to find any reviews saying that the web page is a scam (another big sign).Now, as for my experience buying an engagement ring:Moishy was very helpful answering all my questions since the very beginning. Specially helping me find the right diamond for my engagement ring (they do have very competitive prices). When I got the engagement ring and the wedding band (I ordered the full package), it did not fit all that great on my fiance, so we had to send it back for resizing. Moshy went above and beyond to help me with the resizing of the rings. After the first resizing the engagement ring and the wedding band both fitted perfectly on my fiance.I feel at one point Moishy got tired of how many questions I was making and was not answering all of them, but at the very end he went above and beyond so I give 5 stars to the whole experience. I would give more if I could.

I cant say enough about Moishy and MDC Diamonds. They made my engagement ring and my wedding band, which I love, and when I wanted another diamond band there is no one else I would go to. As always, Moishy was extremely helpful and courteous, since I dont know anything about diamonds, and he was extremely patient with me while we determined the size and quality of the stones we would use. The ring I received was exactly what I wanted, and is more beautiful than I could have imagined. They also cleaned and checked the stones on my other 2 rings, and then mailed all 3 of them to my home since it was more convenient for me! They are the best!!

Rosa was a consummate professional throughout the entire process of designing and crafting a custom engagement ring. Despite several potential roadblocks (shifting deadlines and preferences), Rosa and the MDC team were able to deliver on time. Purchasing any overseas product can make you nervous with the result you are going to get. Buying from MDC is not the case. Designed my engagement ring via email and the service was FANTASTIC. when the ring arrived the quatliy was even better. I am currently getting my wedding band made.

Moishy is wonderful to work with! The service I received was wonderful and I love the diamond pendant necklace and diamond and sapphire ring he made for me. I went there after a colleague recommended him and I have to say, this was the best experience Ive ever had in the Diamond District. I got a great deal and he gave great advice on what would look nice, where I could save money, etc. He definitely cares about the quality of his work and care about making sure his customers are happy. Excellent selection, pricing and service. I purchased a loose stone from MDC via their website - the price for this stone was almost half off the prices for equivalent stones found in local shops. I got a phone call the next day confirming the details of the diamond I had requested and the order was completed immediately. There was an issue with my payment - MDC offered an alternative payment option which worked flawlessly. The stone I ordered arrived via FedEx 2-day, exceptionally well packed, with the GIA report on the stone included in the package. My local jeweler confirmed that the stone shipped was (as expected) the stone represented in the report. Altogether an excellent experience - Id do business with Moishy and MDC again and would recommend them to anyone looking to buy stones and/or jewelry.

We recently contacted MDC Diamonds with a view to designing our own engagement ring. Moishy Goldberg was so helpful, going through various different ideas that we had and offering sound advice on the design. We already had a central diamond and wanted to create a really special setting for it. As soon as we had decided on a final design Moishy set to work getting the ring made up and when we arrived in NYC less than 2 weeks later, the ring was ready for our approval. We left the central diamond with him that day and 24hrs later we collected the finished ring. It is absolutely stunning and we really couldnt be happier.

I would definitely recommend MDC Diamonds to anyone in the market for an engagement ring. The whole process was quick and painless. I designed the ring I wanted on the website but my soon to be fiancé and I decided to go to the office so we could actually see the different carats and colors side by side. Moishy was super helpful extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. He helped me find a really beautiful diamond (1.5 carat D color marquise SO PRETTY) that was within our price range. We needed the ring within a two week time frame (which I was in a bit of a panic over) we ordered the ring June 28th and got it July 9th which was earlier than I expected! I was able to text Moishy to stay updated throughout the entire process he was very responsive, so nice and really just great to work with. The ring arrived today and it is just beyond stunning it took my breath away even the ring box itself is beautiful (it has a light!) they absolutely exceeded my expectations!*Note: For the inexperienced engagement ring buyer take the extra time to get sized and go look at the actual diamonds. I would have ordered a ring a full size too big in the wrong color left to my own devices! I had no idea what the difference is between an M color diamond and a D I just saw that you could get a bigger diamond for the same price the further you went. The M i saw was actually a very pretty yellow hue but I had no clue there was such a big difference in color! I also thought I wore a size 7 or 7.5 and I needed a 6.25 so definitely work with a human if you’re new to this!

Overall, very very good. Moishy was extremely helpful and answered all of the questions I had. Great variety of rings and Ive just received it and am happy with it.The only two things that would have made the experience better (and 5*) would be if there was more information forthcoming without me having to ask about details. For example, the diamond GIA certificate didnt come with the ring, so I contacted MDC and only then was told that they send the certificate separately to avoid issues at customs.The second thing was that many diamonds that I wanted were listed on the website, but not actually available because they were sent abroad somewhere for an exhibition. So I ended up paying a higher price for a lower quality diamond than I wanted.Overall, a great experience and an awesome ring!

I cant give MDC Diamonds a high enough rating! If i were told to give it 5 stars i couldnt give it any less than 6/5, if i was told to rate it out of 10 then at least 12/10 would be required.I live in the UK so the normally tricky business of finding your lady her ideal ring was further complicated by the fact that i couldnt find anything to suit in the UK and had to look overseas. MDC Diamonds turned this from a horribly complex process into something disturbingly easy. The ring they produced was unique, beautiful and exactly what i wanted for her (and she loves it by the way!!) They took care of the delivery, and it was in the UK and in my house about... 3 days after they posted it from their end.Theyve been amazing for communication and quality of work, there really isnt a single fault i could pick with them and if youre ever looking for a good quality, reliable and trustworthy jeweller to help you out then MDC Diamonds is the shop for you!

I went to MDC for diamond studs because my friend’s fiancé had just gotten her ring there and insisted it was the only place where I would get the most for my money. After some intense comparison shopping, I knew I was getting a great deal, but felt like I was getting the same kind of service as I would in those flashy boutiques where everything is ready made and sold at full retail value. For starters they offered coffee and chocolate as soon as I came in then Moishy asked me about my budget, ideal size, etc. and patiently explained all of the diamond language so I would be able to make a more educated decision without feeling overwhelmed. Rosa helped out with settings, and again - was very honest about what was necessary and what would look good on me. When I wanted to make a slight adjustment, they were really nice and took care of it right away. All in all…great shopping experience!
