We were looking for to buy GIA diamond stud earrings for a while. After seeing reviews from ultimate diamond, we called the agent. First we spoke with Moshe on the phone. Then we made appointment. He was very friendly, kind and honest. They have so many inventories available. Moshe showed me all different sizes and clarity. He is very patient and not pushy. The prices are reasonable and I would say the best price in the diamond district. The owner lady set the earrings for me in half hour. We could check the laser inscription at the store too. My girlfriend and I decided we would walk into a random diamond district store one Saturday afternoon and we happened to (and luckily) find Ultimate Diamond Co. We met with Diana, who from the start was so personable and easy to work with. For context, I am a young dentist working in NYC as a resident in a hospital setting, and my girlfriend and I were looking for engagement rings. We didnt have much experience with diamonds other than knowing the basics about the 4 Cs and an idea of the type of ring my girlfriend wanted. So Diana spent a substantial amount of time with us explaining any and everything that should be considered. We had been to another dealer before Ultimate Diamond Co that utilized the classic butter-her-up type of sales tactic, and after showing us rings I couldnt afford, they said, Youre a dentist. You make plenty, not recognizing my position as a resident in a hospital. In contrast, Dianas communication style matched what I look for perfectly. She gave us absolutely no pressure, was transparent, respectful, and clear in her explanations. As you can see from the photo attached, I can be incredibly thorough, using 3.75x magnification loupes that I use for dentistry and my macro photography set-up. To my surprise, Diana welcomed it. Her expertise in the field and years of experience were apparent, and she recognized that all clients should feel confident in their decision about a diamond. My favorite thing about her communication style was that she offered perspectives that we had never considered, even if those perspectives wouldnt lead to the biggest most expensive ring purchase. It was clear that she wanted us to make the most well-informed and educated decision we could possibly make. After two days spent back-to-back with her, my girlfriend and I decided on a ring that we liked and received a price quote. We left the store saying, We loved Diana, she was so transparent, honest, and helpful. I mentioned to my girlfriend that Diana had said all the right things to earn our trust, and we loved her professionalism and communication style. But the reality was, we didnt know her, and we didnt know if the price was as fair as she made it seem. A couple of days later, we met with a friend of a friend who works in the diamond industry. We showed her all of the price breakdowns, specs, dimensions of the stone, etc that we received from Ultimate Diamond Co. Our friend was honest with us and confirmed that the prices were extremely competitive, since Ultimate Diamond Co is not only a retailer but also a wholesaler and is therefore able to offer clients more competitive prices. They also confirmed that, as Diana had told us, the stone we selected was a unicorn, and that because of the dimensions, the stone appeared far larger than its actual carat size. Because of our friends expertise, it validated our trust in Diana, and that evening I put a deposit down on the stone. When we went, we had just missed Diana before she left, so we met with Ronny, Bill, and Danielle. I have to say that I did not expect to feel so familial with the staff when 4 days prior, they were all strangers. They were all so personable and easy-going as well. A week later, I came back to Ultimate and we finalized the setting and the ring. My soon to be fiancee and I cannot recommend Diana and the staff at Ultimate Diamond Co enough - they will show you the attention, the clarity, the honesty, and the pricing you need to make what normally would be a very stressful purchase one of the most enjoyable and confident purchases youll ever make.

Navigating the whole process of engagement ring shopping was a little overwhelming and uncomfortable; we looked at some reputable retailers, both in and out of the diamond district, and on a whim went into Ultimate Diamond Co. after coming out of another appointment. It was a total breath of fresh air. Billy was really genuine in listening to what we wanted, and explaining how we could get what we wanted while staying in budget. Then, we came back to engrave our names and wedding date for which there were a few problems but they strived to fix and make it up for us with all their efforts. My Fiancee has a very particular style of decision making. Before purchasing anything she needs to see every possible alternative. Since she might like the unknown even better. Abe & Jane where phenomenal in this regard. After trying on every single setting in their (quite large) inventory over the course of a couple weekends Abe offered to help us design a completely custom setting for the engagement ring. Several CAD drawings later and a wax mock up we knew we had the perfect ring. We even got to hang around with the jewelers as they set the diamond and polished up the final product (probably my favorite part of the whole ordeal). Abe & Jane clearly know that the best sale isnt about netting the most $, its about earning a life-long customer. We have already been back to buy our wedding bands (hers is custom yet again) and a couple pairs of pearl earrings. We will definitely be returning to Ultimate Diamond in the future and strongly recommend them.

I worked with John Kirali. He is the best. Professional, first and foremost, but also very personable and friendly, unassuming. I knew very little about rings and he patiently walked me through everything I needed to know. I never once felt pressured or nudged to go for the bigger stone or more elaborate and expensive option. After shopping all day at various jewelry stores for an engagement ring we were frustrated that the experience was just not what we had imagined (some shooed us away, others quality seemed low, some stores prices crazy high, many didnt seem to care about earning our business or lacked inventory) Ultimate Diamond Co was the last place we went, towards the end of the evening. My fiance and I have become quite familiar with Ultimate Diamond over the past few month leading up to our wedding. Abe and Jane helped us designed a beautiful custom engagement ring setting on which I havent stopped getting compliments since. Weve recently purchased our wedding bands, which true to my form, I couldnt find a band that I liked 100% and Jane again helped me come up with a custom design that Im incredibly excited about (it took a few visits but Jane and Abe were so patient that we finally got there). When picking out a diamond I didn’t have much knowledge at all. Billy was able to educate me and help me pick out a great diamond for my fiancé. When it came to picking out a setting for the diamond, I knew the very specific type I was looking for, an Irish Celtic knot. I was able to give Billy pictures off of Pintrest and he was able to custom make a Celtic Knot solitaire setting that was a perfect fit for the diamond. Super friendly and efficient staff, great experience overall.Ill be honest, Im not one to write many review online, but these guys were so great that they really deserve to be praised. When my fiance and I first started shopping for a ring I had literally no idea what I wanted, or where to get it. Eventually I found two rings that I loved, one from Cartier and another from Graff, but we wanted to replicate a combination of these rings in yellow gold (and without the price that comes along with the brand name). My fiance resorted to the internet and almost purchased a ring online, and were both so happy he didnt. It makes all the difference to see rings in person, and to work with someone directly.So to find the perfect ring, I joined my fiance in the diamond district. We must have checked out at least 10 shops that day until we stumbled into Ultimate. Some of the other shop owners were horrible with us, saying come back to us when you know what you want. These guys werent like that at all. Why did we end up moving forward with Ultimate? Not only did we like their rings, but we had a good feeling about the place. The employees were so nice to us, and patiently put up with me trying on every combination of rings possible. It was the only shop that let me try on a mix of platinum and gold, engagement rings and wedding bands, etc. I was sold.My fiance designed my engagement ring entirely with Choi, and from what he told me it was a great experience from start to finish. She paid attention to every little detail that he wanted. Best of all, my ring turned out perfect (and I believe nothing is perfect)! After a very thorough explanation of how sizes vary depending on the width of the ring youre looking at, we ended up spending a long time looking at their rings - there is a good chance we will be back, the quality of their work is high and the attitude of the staff is just right - I would trust this business to make something for us and to have excellent communication and honesty about every detail.
