Great experience selling (and not selling) my diamonds to Abe Mor online! I was hesitant at first to send my diamond in via the mail but they make the process so easy and timely. (Elliot was especially great to work with!) The FedEx shipping was secure and at no cost to me. I got an offer within a few days of the package arriving at their location and a check made out to me a couple of days later. I decided to try again with another diamond and also had a great experience! -- even though I didnt accept the final offer. They shipped my ring back to me at no cost so quickly and efficiently. I will definitely use Abe Mor again if I have another diamond Im looking to sell! It doesnt hurt to just send it in to see what you can get for it.

01/26/2021 update. I should not have waited to post this update but I inspected the ring after I received it back from Abe Mor and I noticed scratches on the ring and also noticed the stone is crooked. It is clear that they removed the stone from the setting when I specifically told them not to do it. There is a reason I sent the GIA certificate with the ring. I sent the ring to them in perfect condition as I had just taken it to where it was purchased from to be polished and this is how it was returned to me? do not do business with these people. They dont care if you dont give them permission to remove the stone as they will anyway and cant even put it back correctly. Very unprofessional.Not impressed at all. I contacted this place because I wanted to sell my diamond and was assisted by Elliot Jacobs who gave me some basic information on how the process works. Communication from the beginning was not the best. Response time was slow and never showed any interest or asked any questions about the product. I sent it in on Wednesday December 16th. On Friday December 18th I received a call from Elliot who confirmed they had received the ring and wanted permission to take it off the mounting because they did not have the GIA certificate. I then told him I had emailed the GIA certificate which was at the very bottom of all the chain of emails we had exchange to what he replied: We never scroll down. Fine not really a big deal. I am glad he made that call because I did not want the diamond to be taken off the mounting unless they were going to buy it so that phone call was the right thing to do. On Monday December 21st I got an email stating: We received your ring and have inspected it.Unfortunately, it is not for us and we would like to return it to you.. I emailed back that same day asking what the reason was as to why it is not for them to what I never got an answer. I totally understand that they are in no obligation to purchase every diamond that is sent to them but it is also extremely unprofessional to just simply say it is not for us and not really give a better reason. I had never done this before so let me add that shipping to them is very safe. I am waiting to see what condition my ring arrives in today and will be updating this review based on that. I am also not mad that they didnt buy it. Just think the customer service is very poor and maybe you should still give more information when deciding not to purchase. It is unprofessional and disrespectful to just say it is not for us. That is not how you treat people regardless of buying or not their product.

This is a phenomenal company to use when buying or selling diamonds. They were honest and highly informative. After receiving input from them, I actually went to worthy.com. After being told they were better than Abe Mor, I tried selling my diamond through their auction twice unsuccessfully. Their actual auction brought only half of their initial estimate. They had fed me a fallacy. When I asked for the complimentary GIA report their website indicates the customer receives, I was given a GHI report run by their own people and furthermore, I actually had to pay for it. This was disheartening to say the least. I went back to Abe Mor and came out financially much better - no fees and no complications. I’m very thankful ethical businesses still exist today.

Wasn’t impressed by their buy price. I had a GIA 1.5ct diamond which at blue Nile was pricing $8500, had read several great reviews about Abe Mor. I sent the pictures of the diamond, copy of the GIA certificate and received a price quote of $3900-$4200, about half or less than the street value. Just be careful and do your own research. Please do not get carried away by online star ratings. I should say they responded quickly.

There arent enough superlatives for my experience with Abe Mor Diamond Cutters. Eric was responsive, professional and dedicated to making sure I got the perfect diamond, the one I saw in my minds eye but couldnt find in a store or online. After many calls, texts and emails (even while on his vacation!) he sourced several diamonds from the four corners of the world. He was generous with his time and knowledge, and his trust - he let me take a diamond of almost five carats home to show my fiancé, who loved it as much as I did. I should add that I have a background in design and a good eye for color, cut, inclusions, etc, and was designing my own ring, all of which made me an exacting customer. Id done enough research and looking to feel very confident that Eric was being completely honest, fair and transparent.Eric then entrusted me to the amazing Esty for the design process. When Esty says we will make you the ring of your dreams, a truly spectacular ring, believe it. She acted as guide and liaison to their designers as I created FIVE different designs; she made sure they knew exactly what I was going for. It was very exciting to get their CAD renderings! I then chose three for them to refine and adjust for our final decision. I relied heavily on Estys experience and excellent taste, as well as the counsel of the designers as to what would and would not work structurally. It was a real team effort! Despite taking over four weeks, at no time was Esty, or anyone at Abe Mor, anything but patient, honest, accommodating and very hardworking, they are an absolute pleasure to work with.We are not only thrilled with my spectacular ring, were thrilled with the price, almost half of what it would have cost in a store. We cant recommend Eric and the talented team at Abe Mor highly enough, and look forward to doing business with them again.

Completely satisfied!!! Matt was the best. He helped me plan and we designed the ring together through every step taking everything into consideration to the smallest details. I had to sell my diamond ring due to a divorce. It was a bitter sweet moment for me. I tried several places online and locals to get the right price. Every one of them said that no one will be able to give me a better price than them. Well they are wrong. I decided to try Abe Mor because of their great reviews and a recommendation from one of my colleague. Boy I am glad I did. Not only was the staff very helpful, professional and kind, they gave me the best price for my ring. Elliot, Matt, and Eric are amazing! When I requested for an overnight check and willing to pay for the extra cost, they decided to cover it for me. They didnt have to and I am still happy but I was floored. Matt was excellent. I was dead set on just selling the ring to Abe Mor but he assured me that he would be able to get me exactly what I was looking for. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped me understand why they do business online and how it would work for me. He was also very good about providing me with accurate videos and pictures of the diamond I was going to purchase. The selling process was easy as well. I was hesitant to ship my ring but it got to them safely without an issue. I am very happy with everything and I plan to be a lifetime customer!

This company was fantastic. I had been looking at engagement rings for some time and then had Abe Mor recommended to me by a friend and he said to talk with Matt. I called in and got a hold of Matthew Johns and told him what I was looking for. Matt was extremely helpful and was able to answer any questions I had. He was able to pull out stones and make recommendations as to which stone he would go with (wasnt always the most expensive stone out of the selection either). So once I picked a stone, I was able to send him examples of a setting I would like to have and they were able to have the setting I wanted made for a very reasonable price. In the end I received a beautiful ring for what I feel was an incredible price compared to other jewelers. Matt was by far one of the most polite and patient people I have worked with over the phone. Truly great customer service from Matt and from the company. I am recommending them to anyone I know who is the market for engagement rings. Matt even followed up after the engagement to make sure the proposal went smoothly and according to plan! Truly 100% satisfied with Abe Mor.

Selling an old family ring felt super intimidating at first - but Abe Mor made the process incredibly simple and user friendly. We had easy access to one of their associates, Eric, via phone, text, and email and completed the whole process (initial consult, overnighting the ring, discussing an offer, receiving a check back in the mail) within a week. I needed to trade in a diamond for a similar size stone but was looking for better quality. All the local jewelry stores offered a third of what Abe Mor offered me. When I did my research, Abe Mor was the highest rated for customer service and value. Theres a reason for it. Matt at Abe Mor was extremely knowledgeable and very fast to respond and keep open communication. He was willing to work with me after hours but I wanted him to spend his time with friends or family. He was truly helpful and honest, not just trying to push anything on me or make a sale for the sake of it. I felt like he cared about listening to what I wanted and did everything to help. Customer service is top notch and their pricing is very fair. If youre even remotely thinking of looking at upgrading or trading in for any reason, I suggest at least giving Matt a call and giving Abe Mor the opportunity to win your business.

We recently upgraded the diamond in my engagement ring and Matt was knowledgeable and very patient throughout the entire process! With such a large selection of diamonds to chose from, Matt sent me videos and photos of all of the ones I wanted to see, along with certificates. He is very responsive and followed up immediately when I had questions. It was not about making a sale when I was working with Matt, I genuinely felt like he wanted me to find the right diamond for me. The process of trading my stone was also smooth, they took the time to have my diamond certified so I could get the best trade in value, which ended up being more than jewelers in my area.
