Stopped by here after seeing it last week during my very roundabout morning commute. Today, I had the best breakfast sandwich outside of my native South, the Buttermilk Biscuit with egg, actual cheddar cheese, and sausage. Big, hearty---excellent biscuit. Im going to ask where they get them from next time Im there or if they make them in-house. Loved, loved, loved it. Had a fresh pressed Cucumber Chill too, also good but an acquired taste methinks. UPDATE: returned a week later and had same biscuit but with bacon, ahhhh, bacon (my wife usu forbids it these days, shhhhh) and it was a again delicious, so they seem to be consistently good!
The avocado 🥑 toasts with eggs are one of the most delicious brunch I have ever had. Coffee is also great!
Hey I love this place! Great vibes and wonderfulservice. Its my weekend hangout place, Try the chicken salad sandwich!
Nice spot with delicious breakfast sandwiches. Bacon, egg and cheese on the biscuit will not disappoint. They also have coffee, pastries and the like.
Great crowd, reasonably priced food and of course the coffee is worth waiting in line for. It’s a very neighborhoodie spot... great for meeting new peeps while enjoying some good food and drink. Their Cucumber Lemonade is friggin awesome!
Morgen, Selena, and Abraham have made our coffeeshop into a second home for so many years, to say nothing for what seeing their sweet faces meant during Covid. I feel so lucky to have lived across the street from such wonderful humans for so long.
One of my favorite places! A bunch of amazing people work here. Love their coffee and pastries! I highly recommend this place. ❤️
Atmosphere: 3/10Drink: 8/10Service: 2/10The interior is in need of a renovation, and it took the barista about 5 times to remember my order. That being said, the chai latte itself was good.
11th street cafe is THE BEST CAFE in the west village. The staff are amazing, in particular, the manager Morgan!!
We love breakfast at this cafe. The breakfast smoothie is delightful and the scrambled eggs with cheddar and spinach are addictive.
A chill spot in the neighborhood. The setting do the cafe was great and the staff was very friendly.Got a fruit cup and a green tea latte. The quality was pretty good : fruits were fresh, and the strawberries inside were actually sweet - not that common. The matcha latte got skim milk option and the taste was a little bland to me.A nice little spot overall.
Charming setting. Tasty food. Served with a smile.
Was searching for Orso coffee but stumbled across this shop whilst browsing around. Entered cafe/ coffee shops in Goog. maps but this didnt even come up for some bizarre reason. Anyhow, I said lets give it a try. Cozy atmosphere. Nice array of authentic and high grade coffee. Their baked goods, like many oth coffee shops was mostly butter, sugar, etc. in other words poison. They also had ample and cozy seating options. Music ✔️and the guy who assisted me was truly hospitable, courteous, amicable and honest. Prices are also reasonable; would go back if I was in the area.
Delicious, charming little spot. Food is great and staff is very kind. I recommend the buttermilk biscuit sandwich - 10/10!
This has been my breakfast spot for years!! The staff is friendly and knows what theyre doing.
The waiter Morgan refused to clean a dirty table and told me to get out of here. A blond one with a hat. The rudest experience I have ever had.
Super cool staff. Amazing food
Arrived from Oz and This place was a life saver. Great food, lovely people and, yes, good coffee. Hallelujah
Mind blowing service.
Best local cafe in West Village!
Really nice employees and food
11th Street is the tops. A total lifesaver in the neighborhood with lots of fresh, healthy foods in all sorts of interesting dishes great for breakfast lunch or a snack. I drink at least a cold brew a day.
I absolutely love this place! The staff are incredibly friendly and the bagels are to die for. One of the best spots to sit with a coffee and get some work done. You can tell its a local favourite and not in any way a tourist trap. You can sit in the window and see the real NYC passing you by :-) thanks guys
Love this place! Nice people, good food, and an essential neighborhood spot.
Local neighborhood cafe, good sandwiches, better coffee.
Last time I was here was two years ago, and one of the employees catcalled us as we accidentally passed the cafe. He did a nasty sort of “mhmm”. He was wearing a blue shirt and is Hispanic? I didn’t care to look at him so i don’t remember. Just calling him out so his nastiness can be known. Now: LOVED this place! Despite that guy, the other employee at the register was very sweet and patient with us. Our food was great. I had a Belgium hot chocolate and banana bread. Would recommend this place, especially since it stays open pretty late so it is a nice evening sort of stop.
Once upon a time in the Village lived a little girl names Goldilocks. One day, while clad in a beret and smoking on the corner, she was struck with an intense fatigue and knew only one solution: a hot cup of coffee. She tossed her smoldering Parliament to the curb and shlepped to the nearest coffee house: Blue Bottle Coffee. Inside, the barista, clad in all black gave her a curt nod. Goldilocks looked around nervously. There wasn’t even a place to sit down, and all of the cabinets were faux-Scandinavian! Panic bubbled up in her throat. “Too cold!” she turned and sprinted outside.Still feeling dreary, she wandered a bit further until she came across a colorful storefront labeled The Bean. Bouncing music drifted from inside. Feeling parched, she wandered in, where barista’s smiled and fluorescent murals covered the walls. All around her were stained glass lamps, jovial college kids and so many textures. Her blonde hair began to sweat under her beret. “Too hot!” she screamed, once again fleeing to the busy street. She wandered aimlessly West in a state of delirium, in part from emotional trauma, and in part from her crippling caffein addiction. She walked aimlessly all the way to 11th street until she was hit by the most delicious smell of fresh coffee and assorted baked goods. She stopped in her tracks and looked up at an unassuming but friendly coffee shop: 11th Street Café. Inside, she was greeted by pleasant jazz, smiling baristas, cozy seats, Wi-Fi, outlets, and a recently renovated bathroom. She ordered a Café Au Lait and a home-made biscuit and finally sat down among other Villagers. When she took a sip, she sighed with relief: “Ahhh… Just right!”And in that café, she lived happily ever after.
Cute cafe with a good selection of breakfast pastries. Decent coffee. Very cozy, so space is tight and limited. Also, they wont let you use the bathroom, so keep that in mind. Still, a nice place.
Good food. My go to coffeshop. Never frantic... just friendly and relaxed. Great mix of people. Food is consistently yummy.
Awesome friendly neighborhood cafe with a great breakfast/lunch menu. The turkey sandwich was big and very fresh. Nice coffee menu and homemade pastries. Small seating areas with wi-fi. Family owned
I don’t know what I would do without this place. The pastries, bowls and salads have kept me coming for the last 5 years. Perfect cozy space to study and chill.
Incredibly cozy place with a family feel to it. The service was great and it felt like we were part of their little family. The food was fingerlicking good!
Im an absolutely sucker for the biscuit breakfast sandwiches they have here. I could eat one for every meal of the day and not get sick of them! However, the coffee is pretty disappointing. Its always kind of thick and tarry. I havent tried any of the fancier drinks, so maybe those are a little more palatable.
Great coffee shop. Avocado toast was just ok but coffee was great. Tight fit but everyone was friendlyGood WiFi!
Good selection of lunch menu with wine and beer. Chill atmosphere in a very trendy neighborhood of West Village. Absolutely love the vibe, perfect for working or chatting with friends.
We go to the 11th Street Cafe multiple times each week. Its small but very tasty. The staff is friendly and the coffee is great. I highly recommend the bacon biscuit sandwich!
I loved their scrambled egg bowls. Its becoming increasingly difficult to find decent coffee in the meatpacking district, and Im very thankful for this place. Its very small though; never any seating available.
Love this little place (it is tiny). Great egg dishes, bagels, turkey & brie sandwich, and fruit smoothies. Everything is prepared fresh and the service is really friendly. My favorite local spot.
Great service when the girl at register isn’t profiling ...it only takes one person to ruin your experience and every experience without her has been delightful and i go often enoughi waited patiently, yet kept getting attitude ...why is that?
A great place to do work when you want slight distractions. The coffee is smooth and yummy, and the people who serve it are unusually kind. The difference between this cafe and most others in the area is the aura of calm, partially due to its tucked away location.
Wonderful service, host an open mic every tuesday and its always entertaining
Good coffee and breakfast sandwich. Fairly reliable wifi. Only cons were the tight space and dirty tables.
Solid local spot. Friendly service, great food / coffee drinks, and consistently good crowd hanging out (many of them locals)
Very cozy place, nice staff and great coffee
Delicious things in a friendly place👌
I go to the 11th Street Cafe multiple times each week. Its small but very tasty. The staff is friendly and the coffee is great. I highly recommend the bacon biscuit sandwich!
I visited this place after reading that it was a laptop-friendly cafe. However, I didnt enjoy my experience. It was incredibly squeezed, had one outlet in sight for three tables -- who were practically sitting on top of one another --, and I watched the barista pour a bad shot that had already long lost its crema into my latte. I would save your time and go to the cafe two doors to the east.
Its enjoyable sitting and working here. Although the music is loud but good tunes and the short cashier talks kind of loud. Overall good coffee, chill place and lovely lemonades.
Food is great. Best service. Enzo is fantastic
Everything is so fresh and the people are like family one of the best coffee shops in WEST VILLAGE💜💜💜
Thinking about you guys at this time difficult time. Are you guys taking up a collection for the displaced workers? Contact me if so — [email protected]. I’d like to help.
Great service, fine coffee, good food and fantastic-friendly atmosphere.
Great breakfast at this trendy little coffee house. Oh yeah, and coffee is great too.
Not only was the cuisine exquisite, but the barista Enzo had service out of this world. What a character
Nice little cafe, with good selection of sandwiches and drinks. Limited seating but really nice atmosphere
Quiet place to go in the way West Village. Small and neighborhood-y.
Super friendly. Great chai.
Very good breakfast options, delicious BEC. Cute cafe.
This is my favorite Cafe in the West village. It is low key and appropriately priced.
Today, I ordered a small cappuccino with whole milk. After receiving my order, I tried my coffee and realized that the milk was spoiled. I returned back to the the cafe instantly and asked to get a new cup of coffee. I politely explained to the woman that the milk is not good and that I would like a new coffee. The woman, who also is the owner, gave me a nasty attitude. She contradicted me by saying that the milk is not spoiled and that it is good until May 20. I explained to her that not only me but my sisters and mother had also tried the coffee and said that it was spoiled. The customer service here is very terrible. I do not recommend going here and I definitely will not be returning. Worst experience ever!
Cozy location. Enjoyed a great breakfast.
Friendly staff, free WiFi, lots of power outlets, and good coffee/tea/snacks.
Certainly over hyped. Ordered a machiatto and got something more like a latte. Ambience is also just okay.
Food, atmosphere, and people are excellent!
Cosy cafe with coffee and tea starting at $3
Cute place to get nice cup of morning coffee
They forgot half of my order. The matcha latte is not something Id want to try again.
Great local vibe. Great lattes, which are hard to find. All the food is perfect for a coffeeshop. I recommend the egg, cheese, bacon in a biscuit......mmmm. The southern storefront exposure has ideal daylighting and the interior lighting sets a cozy ambiance. The patrons are a good mix of West Villagers. Young professionals, families, and foriegners looking for a taste of the real WV.
Cool wifi cafe, exquisite croissants, closes a bit early. Another laptop hipster cafe, ingredients are always the same: a warm atmosphere, wood based decor, young, cool and friendly staff, and of course, free wifi. Get yourself a cup of coffee and, surprise, a chocolate croissant, and chill. You will be disappointed when somebody will wake you up from your geeky trip, at 7pm, saying were closing.
Nice small cafe. Nothing special about the coffee, but the service was great.
Nice neighborhood cafe. Quiet, locals.
Not laptop friendly at all. It has little to no space, no outlets, and doesnt even have a bathroom. Everyone on the block hates them because they keep sending customers to their bathrooms.
Get the Cubano sandwich, its awesome.
Quiet place to enjoy a drink and work
Just walked into the place and the French barista let three French people jump the line while Im ordering a coffee with her. Appalling.
45 min limit on tables (because there are only 5 tables.) So, while WiFi friendly, not a good place to actually get work done.
The best coffee shop in NY
Really good place to visit.
Really like their oatmeal
Best avocado toast in town
Best avocado toast in the city
Very good service.
Cozy spot.
Best neighborhood Cafe
Fresh and healthy
Good food
Great oatmeal, good coffee
Best coffee in town
Croissant, egg, cheese and avocado sandwich was heaven. The avocado was perfect. Yummy juice as well! Staff was very polite and friendly.
A small café with a good mix of jazz music that flows out, and you can feel the local atmosphere of Greenwich Village in a residential area without being crowded. If you want to feel relaxed in New York, this place is recommended! And if you feel a little tired walking for a long time, the menu is recommended for cold vanilla chairate!
It is good to fight for breakfast good breakfasts
Nice little cafe with delicious sandwiches away from the tourist crowds.
Good for coffee
