Psst, the French are coming! The French are coming with their amazing chocolate. After one bite of Jacques Chocolates, I discovered that there is life after visiting Godiva, Lindt and Max Brenner. Jaques Torress establishment is a must go ASAP place if you desire the finer things in life.So what to buy? Well, this is a tough one, because everything is wonderful from their hot chocolate, cookies, candies and more, so it is not fair to pinpoint just one area. What I will point out is their excellent customer service, because I must admit it is really needed, because this place is addictive. Why? When you take a deep inhale all you can smell is real chocolate...Beware: if you are on a diet and you entered this store, you will consider that day a cheat day.Going back to my great customer experience, Shaqueena has delivered just that, because I am 39 years of age and I transformed like a big kid in this establishment. She explained the store mission and what the place has to offer. In addition, she wanted me to make sure I was happy with my selection because I was too darn excited. I think this place is a hidden drug because I was drooling once I saw the cookies. Call me Cookie Monster, because I want cookies! She even told me about another location I should try, 66 Water Street (Dumbo) where her team will show me around the factory! Ohhhhh man, Willie Wakka Factory in NYC!!!!! Oh, snap, I will be visiting this location tomorrow after work. I am so excited.Bottom Line:Visit this location and you will soon see why I love this place.

Good place for hot chocolate!

A special recommendation for Olga. I needed DARK chocolate bark, but they only had milk chocolate bark. She turned baskets upside down and found one last small package for me. And, I suspect she is the brains of the family. One of the cash registers froze, and she fixed it. All this with a pleasant demeanor and a smile. I hope someone from the home office reads this.

Really expensive, but without a doubt - excellent chocolate. Our favorite is the hot chocolate but weve lived everything weve ever had from here and this is a small but nice outpost. Is it worth the prices? Its a very rare treat for us these days due to the price, but for a true chocolate lover, it is worth the splurge on a more frequent basis!

Alli is the best! He is a pleasant man. Come here because he is lovely as well as the ice cream!

I am a big fan of their champagne truffles!! But unfortunately I got the worst ones today because some of them had fatbloom. I’d never had that before, so I believe that it was just one of those days. Anyway, I bought a 24-piece box today. If it had fatbloom, the quality and the price don’t match. Obviously, the texture is different, not smooth at all.

Super friendly staff. I love that they go out of their way to show you options in your price range.

Food is tasty, thats why its a shame to give it 1 star. Where do they find these employees!@@#$%. I mean, they must really pay bad.......because all of the employees are angry! Customer service--- THERE IS NONE! The staff here is the absolute worst! They really scrape the bottom of the barrel to hire the worst of the worst!!! Avoid this place at all cost!
