Went here for the first time the other day to buy meat for a bbq for 20 people. The staff was super helpful and I loved the options and ability to get exactly what you want. A proper butcher where you get that level of service is rare these days and the quality and price were both wonderful. Everything we cooked was great!

The service is not the same since the pandemic started. I will not be giving them my business again.When they ease up on the attitude I might consider giving them my business but until then Im done with em. Their prices have gone up tremendously.I can only hope theyre not price gouging

Every time Ive come in Ive found something delicious. All of the meat is so fresh, and an added perk is that because they make products in house (like their sausages), they dont add sugars, which can be a tall order for store packaged products. It was a great find when doing whole 30.

This meat market has been in the neighborhood 4 ever. It is the cleanest market in Spanish Harlem. If they dont have it you cant get it hands down the freshest meats & poultry around. My mom is 97 if you shop any place else during the Holidays she dont want it in her house. Go to 110st or nothing !!!

I went to Casablanca for the first time on December 27. Mom wanted a traditional New Years dinner and since I had an appointment in East Harlem that day, it was the perfect place to buy a pork shoulder. Google led me to Casablanca, and I was not disappointed! I walked in and was immediately impressed...the place did not smell like rotting meat, which would have been a big turn-off. More important...I hit the trifecta...excellent product, excellent service and really really good prices. I will be back!

This is mostly in response to the 1 star review by Lone Wolf from 5 years ago. For those of you who are new to El Barrio, this place has been a staple in the community for several generations. I would rather to to Casablanca and be able to visually inspect my beef and poultry than to go to the meat department of a local supermarket and run the risk of buying prewrapped meat thats past the freshness date. Ive NEVER had any of the butchers behind the counter treat me with less than the respect due me as a customer. For those of us who are regulars, we know that this is the place to go if you want fresh meat cut right.

I have been going here for my meats since the early 70s as child with my grandmother.And grandma knew best! The place is a family tradition in our Harlem Community, In Manhattan!

When I got there the line was halfway out the door 🚪 (witch is NOT a bad thing) while waiting on the line I had a woman tell me she’s been coming there for 18 years and how fresh the meat was etc etc I got about a months worth of meat for $30.50 (it’s me and my daughter in the home) the men who worked there were pretty nice as well

This establish caters to the Hispanic population of community only. It is solely run by Hispanics. I have witness first hand how the employees of this establishment make racist comments to African American customers and the owner or his son does absolutely nothing. I have gone to this meat market since I was a little girl and they have NEVER had an African American working there. I do not recommend this establishment to any black customer because they do not value us as a part of this diverse society.
