Been coming here for as long as I can remember. Bob is amazing, and his sandwiches are the best you’ll ever have. Especially with his home made Turkey!

Bob The Butcher owns & runs this place, he also makes soups & amazing meatballs in sauce! He roasts turkey & many other dishes. I think he has the best grass fed beef & his steaks are top of the line.Really anything you need Bob can help you out even suggest how to cook it. He get fresh mozzarella from Arthur Avenue that is amazing. He’s been in business serving the Neighbour hood over 30 years. Trust me, he is the best & also has an excellent team to help serve you!

Overall the sandwich was below average, but the worst part of my experience was how unbelievably rude the young blonde worker was. His name tag said “Wyatt” on it. He was yelling racial slurs and overall being a horrible person.

Bob has retired so this is no longer a butcher shop, just a deli/sandwich shop.

Broadyke Meat Market is a hidden gem. Bob is a gifted and knowledgeable butcher who will always give you the straight facts rather than push for a sale. His pre-cooked meals are homemade with care and his staff always treat you with respect. It can be busy and sometimes youll have to wait but the quality of his product and customer service is worthwhile. Our meats have always been fresh and cooked up beautifully; we consistently pick up whole chickens, various cuts of pork, lamb, and beef and Bob is happy to order custom cuts if you call ahead of time. We look forward to enjoying the Broadyke Meat Market for as long as possible.

I have been trying every bagel I could find in Washington Heights and Inwood and this little shop is the only that made me go ooook, now were talking! They offer an excellent range of deli ingredients and you ask for your custom bagel or bread sandwich. You cant compare this place to your random corner sandwich. On top of that the store is also a butcher offering high quality meats in all sorts of cuts. They dry-age NY strip steaks for long times and sell at prices so low you would come from Midtown just for them and be happy you did. The owner is a fine man, hes always there, and his employees have a positive demeanor that makes you feel like you could bring your mom there.

Bob is a veritable meat master, and his homemade roast beef is the best Ive ever had. The quality of everything in the shop is top notch, the sandwiches cant be beat, and the neighborhood feel of the place is unsurpassed. Time to go eat my sub!

Knowledgeable, attentive and friendly staff that clearly have a passion for their craft. This is a tiny shop, but very well stocked with excellent meats and prepared dishes. Im not sure where they get the bagels from, but they are the best in northern Manhattan.

I dont normally ride my bicycle uptown but this past Saturday, as it was a beautiful January 2020 day in NYC... I rode up towards La Marina where I planned on circling back downtown along the waterside... but I realized I needed a good cup of coffee - as I pulled over to the corner of Broadway and I believe Dyckman Street and looked around in search of a coffee spot (not crazy about Starbucks) to my surprise and excitement - just feet away I could see beautiful bagels through a glass window - just behind the bagels, I could see a handsome guy with a big smile - how could I not be enticed... Immediately hopped off my bicycle and with a quick gait walked in and asked - do you have good coffee of course everyone, including Bob, the owner said yes... I asked again are you sure its good coffee again, he said yes so I had the coffee and a sesame bagel....had a great conversation (a little history on the spot) while I ate the bagel and sipped on the coffee... (OMG... the coffee was sooooooooooooo good and so was the bagel)! I highly recommend this spot.. (:-) Cant wait to visit again... Rein

Was looking for a quick sandwich shop, wasnt expecting to find a local butcher as well! Staff are super friendly and will make your sandwich with exactly what you want. The heros are enough for two! Wouldnt mind trying the butcher items if I come back. Its got a local feel about it where you can trust what they sell.

Closed Sunday & Monday. Open on Monday if there is a major holiday later in the week. The clerks are nice but the meat is not out on display, it all seems to be in the back, with lots of premade stuff out front. I’m sure the clerk would show me the meat if I asked, it just seems odd. Also, somebody who works there must smoke a lot, because a few times I have walked into the store & been overpowered by the secondhand smoke smell. Doesn’t make the place seem clean.

Walked in looking for a cut of lamb that would slow cook well for a crock pot. Attentive service, normal prices for a quality cut and the curried lamb came out delicious! My only regret is not having more to share ;)
