Went to the physical store and it’s not open at all. There are online offerings though I wish I had known the physical store was closed, since I built a stop around it.

Love this travel bookstore and the language classes they offer!Any kind of travel book is available here and its a great spot to plan your next holiday or to just be inspired.I took Spanish classes here and I found it really helpful. Our teacher brought so much enthusiasm to the class and helped us to not just learn the language but develop an appreciation and interest in the subject.

A nice small, bright space with tons of interesting books organized by world regions. Great selection there, travel memoirs, travel guides, language books, maps, etc.I have also been taking group/conversational spanish classes weekly there in the back. The classes have been really good, with good teachers. $295 for 7 weeks. Also offer French, Italian, German, and Portuguese.

The definitive place to buy any language or travel book in the city. If you can find it online, you can definitely buy it in person here as well as discover new things to explore. Come here for wanderlust inspirations!

There is something so beautifully wonderful about this bookstore. The rows and rows of travel books really are appealing and then there’s the language section which has you thinking you should pick up a book or two. This second floor shop is cozy and has travel guides from hard-to-find publishers beyond the typical Lonely Planet and Frommers’. It’s a cool spot to check out even if you weren’t planning a domestic or international trip.

Came here on a whim to look for travel guides and was impressed with Idlewilds selection. They had at least 5-6 guides for the cities I was looking for (Prague & Budapest), as well as language reference books and a variety of maps. They also had 20% off travel guides when I was there, which was a nice surprise!Liked: Selection, valueDisliked: I was the only one in the store but the one employee didnt speak to me, even when I checked out

Idlewilds a bookshop and language center where you can reminisce about Paris, learn some new bon mots, or possibly even make up for a missed connection? Offers classes at various levels in French, Spanish and Italian. Small, unique, worth a pop-in when youre in Chelsea.
