Tiny beer store in Grand Central with very knowledgeable staff and a great selection, however absurdly astronomical prices takes two stars off. No prices are displayed, so at $8 per can and other beers MUCH more expensive, the extraordinarily high pricing turns your impulse buy into instant buyers remorse for your train ride. One more star off for obnoxiously subscribing you to their email list without your knowledge or consent.

Knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful staff. Great beer selection which is constantly updating. People complaining about price . . . Your buying a craft beer from a beer advisor in Manhattan at grand central . . . 8 bucks is not that bad.

Great little nook in Grand Central station that serves a wide selection of craft beers. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful when you’re trying to find something good to drink. I like the idea of picking up a few good beers to drink before hopping on the train. I have to admit the prices are a bit expensive, but it’s expected given its location and inventory.Would recommend.

A small beer store in the Graybar Passage at Grand Central Terminal. A lot of beer available assorted by flavors, and constantly changing. You dont see this selection at most stores. Need a special brew you dont see here? They can order it for you if available in NY. Friendly staff.

The best little central place in NYC to get excellent craft beer - locally and globally - before hitting the train (or the subway, or the street!). One of my favorite pop-ins.

Great selection of general craft beers. Lots of NY locals but also amazing crafts from all over. Most single pints are in the 7 to 12 dollar range, so it isnt cheap but it is in Grand Central. The staff is really helpful and know the selection almost encyclopedically, dont hesitate to ask questions.

This store has an outstanding selection of new and uncommon beers to try. And they have plenty of cold beer, if you plan to drink it right away or take it to a party, for example. They have a weekly beer subscription, that I have been tempted to try. If you enjoy craft beer, I highly recommend this store.

Beer table has a great selection of craft beer in a small store front. They have a few taps (you can fill a growler or get a glass) and a ton of bottles from around the world. Ive found some of my fav Italian brews here that I didnt even think were exported. Staff are super helpful.

Great spot for a #TrainBeer with the best selection in Grand Central Terminal by a mile. Get a can or a resealable Mason jar with some nice variety.Gluten free options available, at least the day I visited!

I love the idea, and had fun the first time there. So I went back. This was a different experience. This time the service was not friendly at all, which made me think that 75 cents for a teaspoon of mustard for the expensive pretzel to go along with the $35 growler was off putting. I wish it were a more fun time going back, because I really like the idea.

Great collection of beers in a perfect spot to help the weary traveler enjoy their ride home a little more. Prices may be a little high, but Beer Table commands a premium: there are few, if any, competitors to their elevated beer selection. When I have long train rides, I happily pay for a mason jar full of draft beer or a delicious canned DIPA.

The shop looked great and the woman at the counter was really nice, however I didnt stay long because the prices were a little crazy. I remember in particular the Almanac Farm To Barrels and the Firestone Walker Barrelworks series both sitting at around $28 a bottle. It really did seem like a cool store but I walked kind of out of my way to get there so I was a little disappointed that I left so quickly.

Great selection of drafts - many from local breweries. If youre a bike commuter, you get 20% off all the time! (Edited to add: They have a growler drop off service - drop off your growler before work and pay. Theyll fill it and have it ready for you after work. And it stays chilled all day!)

The best beer at the last second for a good price. Yes, its legal to drink on the trains at Metro North (with some holiday exceptions) so dont bother with the stands at the gates and pay $10 for a Bud. Get a draft of your desire to go for less! Also plenty of cans. Two Hearted 16oz only $5 (as of Dec 15)

Great selection of local and national craft beers. Easy make your own six-pack system, and a friendly staff. Also looks like they sell growlers, though I didnt ask if theyd fill growlers you brought (we have a travel one we prefer to the glass jugs they were selling). One star off for ridiculously high prices. A bottle of Stone Delicious IPA, typically $6 at the supermarket near our apartment on 86th Street, was nearly $15 here. Our six-pack of craft beers ran us $42. Thats nearly 18 bottles of good craft beer at a neighborhood super market.

Good selection of beers, knowledgeable staff, but at $5 / bottle its really steep to buy a six pack. They offer 10% off if you buy 6 but still, $27 is really expensive.Bonus: they have draft beers! Pints and growlers to go is a nice touch.

I got a gift card from this store a while ago for $50 but when I went to use it they said it was never loaded and there was never any money on it. Then I found out that a cashier was picketing to money and not loading the cards. They told my to call the manager and he never got back to me. Really bad service and lack of accountability. They gave me nothing and pocketed my money

Very expensive place!! I did not have time to go back to Good Beer in the east village and also wanted to try another shop, but $45 for a bottle(750ml) was way too expensive. I felt I was ripped off when I found out that the beer I got there was sold at less than half the price online..... I saw no price tags, so it might have been a traveler price... I wont come back. I will go to Good Beer.
