For me it was a hidden gem in the neighborhood, reason being they were the only hair supply store that had the product I was looking for. Ambi fade cream, customer service was good and helpful. Cashier was super friendly and polite!

I would give this storefront a ZERO RATING if it were an option. I recently bought a hair color in a box, the Alter Ego brand. Later that night when I went to apply it, I found that the tube had been tampered with or old and damaged in the corner. When I tried to squeeze out the product from the regular opening -it oozed instead out of the punctured hole. I tried as best as I could to salvage it and make enough mixture in order to apply it but it was completely wasted. I took a video of what was going on as well as how I was unable to color my hair with it throughout. I placed it in a bag to take it to them the next day because it was already 9 PM. Overnight, the bag had exploded with product and the fumes were unbearable so I threw it out. I took the empty box, the receipt and the video to the manager. He looked at me like I had two heads and told me that I was ridiculous for bringing in an empty box and expecting something from him. I showed him the video and explained why I could not bring a bag of unusable, exploded product. I was not asking for a refund, simply a credit for a new product or an exchange for a fresh one. He proceeded to treat me like I was an idiot and said there was nothing he could do about that because he didnt know that it came from his store!! Meanwhile the receipt was right in front of him! I have been supporting their business for years, even though there are other beauty stores right across the street from them, down the street from them. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced! If you are in the retail business number one the customer is always right. With proof: a video, a store bag, RECEIPT and a fresh box he did not even have the decency to give me a store credit. I will not be supporting this establishment again and I urge you to think twice about it yourself! There are other friendlier places with more integrity in the neighborhood. Shame on them.

Im a regular at this store and I go one a month to restock on my supplies, and I go trying to obtain 3 things: a crème relaxer and two hair liquids. I ALWAYS PAY MY THINGS WITH MY DEBIT CARD. Money for me is nothing because I have enough money to live for 30 years and I am a full-time college student in a public university that gives back money because I pay over the tuition so I dont need nothing from people who work just to get by. I had a shopping bag with me and HE inserts his hand INTO my bag to take out a shampoo that was used from my house. Here comes this individual to ACCUSE ME of ROBBERY from the store. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!  This was the LAST TIME I AM GOING TO THIS Beauty Supply because I wont tolerate such accusations against me. I writing this review not because of the quality of the products they sell, because they are high quality, I am writing it because their QUALITY OF TREATING THEIR REGULAR CUSTOMERS is INADEQUATE. So if you have read this review I suggest you DO NOT GO to this Store because if they cant treat their regular customers with humility imagine a first time customer.

The owner doesnt know anything! If it wasnt because of the Spanish guy and the cashier girl who are very nice, helpful and product knowledge who knows if the store would be up in running.
