I love many of Bath & Bodyworks products. I miss their True Blue line, those were the best. What I cant stand is the over zealous people that work there. They dont give you time to browse and test the new scents without asking if they can help, what are you looking for? What kind of scents do you like?. Its too much for me.

Glad the 23rd St store has finally opened (2/12/21) after being closed for almost a year during the pandemic. Great prices on sale items now. Staff is always accommodating and willing to help. BUT the pandemic is still on, and I found the store to be too crowded for my comfort. They should be limiting the no. of people in the store and have a line form outside once the limit has been reached. They werent doing that. Signs saying that there should be 6 ft of social distance between people were posted, but that was a joke, I can tell you, after staff and customers alike continually brushed by me throughout the entire time I was there.

Went this morning for a quick gift, and the customer service was amazing. The rep helped me through my entire purchase, walked me through the store with patience and kindness. I will definitely return, and they have great gift sets!

I give Bath & Body Works four stars. I take one star away because I believe they could reduce their prices. I mean i love my candles, but to spend 24 dollars on a candle, is a little too expensive. I also love my body creams, and they do have good discount programs. However, somehow I always leave the store with spending too much money. They have great staff there, always very attentive, willing to help. Store is clean, well stocked. I like this place. I just have to be careful when walking in, because I know I will leave this place with at least 50$ less in my wallet.

This location is better than the 3 stores in Brooklyn. Well stocked, nice customer service and the lines are faster during the semi annual sale. And you dont have to wait on a long line outside the store.

I came here after I left the Zara location that had the broken credit card machine used my card here and had no problem . Great customer service a little pushy though to get you to buy their products. I needed help looking for a sent and one of the sales lady asked if I needed help I contemplated it at first but then I asked here boy she wouldnt let up at all but she was helpful I had to kinda hit at her that I was good lol but good customer service she was very determined.

The place is very low key. It not big like most bath and body works and good thing about this store is while the others might not be having any sale this one has a sale almost every week.

I love all the bath and body stores. This location in particular always seems to have extra people on hand to assist if you need it. That is a great thing to have. Keep having that extra staff!!

Great variety of products but it can get chaotic. Some of the fragrances smell similar. They do have nice sets of products there (like cream, fragrance, soap, and/or candles) all in one gift package.

Super lovely staff! And I absolutely mean that. Also the only place I found a lavender candle that didn’t have vanilla added in there for no reason. It’s a little faint than I’d like it but it’s got essential oils and really helped with my sleep.

Usually bath and body works employees have friendly and helpful customer service, but at this branch the person at the register by the name of Vanity gave attitude to customers and was providing false information about the policy of the store. Thankfully the manager was helpful and immediately resolved the issue. Despite this, Vanity still stared intimidatedly at the customer even though she was in the wrong. Bath and Body Works should reconsider employing a staff with such bad mannered attitude when her job should be assisting customers at the register.

Amaaaaaaazing selection of products and incredibly friendly and helpful staff! They always have some sort of promotion on, so you always walk out with some bargains :D my advice: have a quick google search for any in store coupons available before you reach the till so you make sure you bag any extra discounts!

One of my usual spots. The staff is usually friendly. On this particular day we met an Associate named Faye who was beyond great. If you like a friendly staff and good smells then this is it.

As soon as I went inside the store I was greeted by the security officer. The staff was nice, helpful, and gave me their name to give to the cashier to make it known that such person helped me make great decisions getting my mens shower gel and special pricing. Buy 3 and get 3 free. Cant beat that. Thank you for the great experience.

Im very happy with discount 50-70 % in this season. Shower gel n parfum is my favorite. Actually id like to buy one travel bag, but I cant bring it to my country do Tue the flight conditions, because I already have 3 luggages full. Hopefully discounts will be extends until I come again next time.

Staff is amazing.

Employees were quick to greet me and hand me a bag. Thought I couldve find my way through the store and an employee noticed and directed me to correct section. Impressed by the fast and attentive service.

They couldn’t bother updating their hours to let customers know they were closed. Ridiculous

I went in for their semi annual sale and scored a number of great items for awesome prices. I left the store with a total of 10 lotions and body sprays for under $40 dollars. It was great!

It was a nice visit. I have never actually been to a Bath & Body Works store. The cashier (I believe his name was Miguel) was really pleasant.

Was happy with their candle sale. But felt the floor was over staffed. Must have had five different people come up to me two times each asking if I needed help. The store isn’t that big!! Can’t blame them for trying to be helpful, but I just want some space to think. The cashier also didn’t give me the option to sign up for their marketing emails. She just did it automatically for me without giving me the opportunity to say I wasn’t interested. I thought that was a weird and predatory move. Definitely gonna buy online from now on.

Awful.... it I had the option for zero stars, that would be the rating. The store had extremely limited variety and what they did have was dirty. The candles all had gross shavings of wax all over. It was hard to even find ones to buy. Then waited on line for 20 minutes with only 2 people ahead of me (they did not have alot of stuff). When I got up to the register the cashier was lazy and rude and wouldnt accept the general online coupon which is offered to literally anyone... it was the same one on their website. I am a bath and body member and have been for 10 years. It is the only place I buy my candles. And this lazy cashier told me I need to present the one mailed to me and if I couldnt that I would need to call corporate myself. I couldve done this very same purchase online and used the coupon... I walked out without any merchandise - not because of a few dollars- it was her gross attitude. I havent bought any candles since and tbh, there are many competitors these days... might give them a try. Rather than deal with rude lazy people

I like the products but I really dont enjoy shopping here. I know I can shop online however shipping cost plus 2-7 days of delivery time are not everyones cup of tea.Anyway, the reasons I dont enjoy shopping here are:1) cashiers always ask for email and phone number. (Not politely! They never say please or May I have.. When I said no, they looked angry then threw my shopping bag to me without thanking for my purchase.Why should I give my personal details? It is my RIGHT to disclose or refuse to give them my email and phone number. They should be told that customers have the RIGHT to say no!2) sometime ago, their staff became too friendly. They rush to every person who came in the shop and ask have you received our email promotion? If the answer is no, they would push to get your email. I said yes and immediately she asked me which one? Too many thats why I refuse to give them my phone number and email. This hard sell strategy does not work anymore. You are chasing your customers away.The whole retail industry is in deep trouble but with such poor service, customers are forced to shop online. For me, I just dont buy bath and body works. There are other choices.

Kind of racists.. Im Hispanic and came In To replace a scented hand lotion that I needed because I passed my last purchase on to my mom since she liked it so much. Yet I was watched from the moment I got to the store till checkout. I felt the hate the entire time and mind you I traveled from Far to make this purchase. And worst thing was it was other minorities performing the racism watching for me to steal. From security to sales women. Food for thought you guys aren’t white. Have some respect and class and decency for your fellow Hispanics and peers. I tell you not one white customer was spoken with but I was stalked. Racial profiling at its best... Disgusting!!!

I opened the door and the security guard says to me,”We close in one minute so hurry up.” I was shocked, to say the least. I called the store and asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold. Eventually, I spoke to Janae (I don’t think she was the manager) and told her what happened. She was sincerely apologetic and I appreciate that, but from now on I guess I’ll go to Sephora and buy real perfume instead.

I love bath and body works. Its a teenage staple for me and a place I default when Sephoras options are over priced. This is where I first started buying my face and body products as a teenager and now in my 30s I continue to purchase their products. They are always great and you cant go wrong with the sales they always have. My favorite product will always be their True Blue Body Buff Im in the Mood For Scrub. It smells great even my boyfriend loves it and you actually feel like youre scrubbing all the dead skin off while ending up super smooth.
