I love the prices the steaks, and veggies the biggest and only problem is they NEVER have enough cashiers they only had one the last time I went in there! The line was super long and Im disabled and I cannot stand for long periods of time without severe pain! So with no option of wheelchairs and long lines at check out I dont shop there as often as Id like to! Must get wheelchairs and more cashiers. Otherwise its a great store!

I really enjoyed my experience here at this location. It was very clean, the produce was very fresh and of course great prices.

This store has come a long way in just the passed year. Much cleaner, many new items and much better selections, and almost always have lower milk and egg prices than walmart, Winn-Dixie, and Publix. It is 1 block away from my house and is much more convenient than a convenience store!

Long line with only 2 cashiers but it moved quickly

This Save A Lot was very clean, quite the contrast to some I have been in. All the advertised items from online and email were front and center, fruit & vegetables are ripe and of good size.I will be going weekly to get the groceries that they have, and save a couple dollars.

I like the changes in terms of the image, it looks much more organized and clean, its a shame that I dont have a lot of staff, sometimes there is a lot of line at the checkout

Its true that you can save money shopping for groceries here, but you do sacrifice some things in exchange. The meat and produce are definitely not as good as more expensive options in other stores. Also, dont expect friendly, customer oriented service. The cashiers are efficient but usually downright grouchy. I like the atmosphere of other grocery chains better.

NOT the Save-A-Lot of my youth. When I was in my early 20s, if it didnt come from SAL, I didnt buy it. Everything was so affordable and though the selection wasnt always the best, I could make do.Fast forward 30+ years and while the selection has improved (on some items) the prices have skyrocketed.For the money I saved back in the day, I could deal with the unique eccentricities of this discount grocer.Just walked out of there - today - no canned corn, no buttermilk waffles...and spent as much as I would have at the Walmart grocery.I wont be back.

I love shopping here for fresh produce, and all of the essentials. I appreciate that the store is small enough to where I dont get out of breath just trying to buy a gallon of milk. Parking here is simple. Theres always open spots close to the main entrance. I dont like walking much, so its very convenient. Check out lines can get long sometimes, but I dont mind waiting at all. The staff is always friendly and focused on customer service. Definitely my favorite grocery store.

Great prices. Small selection, but its a small store. Good produce and meat departments. Bring reusable bags or you can purchase plastic or paper bags there. They do not bag your purchases just transfer to another cart, keeps the prices down.

I do instacart, shopping for others, and I have to say.. Glad these were MY groceries. The cashier I had, Sarah (according to receipt) just threw my stuff in the cart.Most of my boxed groceries are not dented, or flatten by the 5lb ground beef and the beef stew meat.I get there arent bags to put them in, doesnt mean you throw our groceries willy nilly. Be mindful of the things we buy from your store and dont throw things, how would you like it if it was your stuff throw around.Wonder how she wouldve handled breakable products.Aside from that, they go by their name save a lot, still love the prices. Could just use better service at the register.

Very rude people who work there. Manager and cashiersThey are ignorant and discuss respectful to customers. Theses kind of people should NOT be in a position to deal with customers. ( the public ) Because they dont know how to talk to people.I will pay more at Winn Dixie or Publix then have to deal with the ignorance of theses people.

I shop here often. This is the only grocery store I go to unless they do not have the product Im looking for. Unfortunately I will not be back. While standing in line(which they are usually long), I was down an aisle the line was that long. A young kid stood at a different register. He proceeded to continue shopping thru the store and when he return he wanted someone to ring him up at a different register. While we were all waiting patiently, he tried to cut into the line and when the cashier told him he needed to wait. He proceeded to complain that he didnt want to wait and be was just trying to hurry up and get out of the store. So to keep the child happy, the cashier rang him up in front of everyone who had been waiting some time. So after working 9 hours and then going to the store, I then had to watch a young kid throw a fit and get his way. Needless to say, my groceries were set down and I walked out. Spent my money at Winn Dixie, got a better quality of steak for $.50 more and had better customer service which matters more to me than anything.

Great local grocery always clean & all employees very courteous. 2yrs ago a women employee after she clocked out shopped for me cause extremely hot that day & I had my Hero Chi Woodrow a.k.a. Woody .. Humbly declining a tip came out with my wishes... Who ever you were GOD BLESS YOU

Save a Lot is not my favorite grocery store, but it does have its uses. Many of the brands it carries are not local or familiar to my area. However, the store often has sales on well-known brands that can be very popular. Those are the products I look to. Overall, the store is cheaper than the bigger stores, but has a smaller selection of products.

Really close to home so perfect to pick up the staples, like bread, milk, fruit and vegetables.Some prices are cheaper, but not always quality products. Main shopping at other supermarkets, but perfect for the fill in, quick trips.

Clean and cheap my cashiers have always been nice.

Did some shopping for family but had to return for forgotten items. The return visit, the cashier pointed out a savings coupon for 5 dollars off for every 30 dollars spent was offered on the first visit reciept. A pleasant surprise which we wouldve been oblivious to. Take the time to read the reciept. For us, the cashier did more than just her job. Thank you.

Put my items down and walked out!!! One cashier, 25-30 people waiting in line! Asked cashier if he could call for another cashier to help. He said No, just me, myself, and I to do it all! Witnessed another male employee just walking around doing nothing. Another shopper said theres another employee. The cashier said that he cant run a register. Cashier had a nasty attitude, and started saying things back and forth with customer. After hearing some of the nasty comments I put my items down and walked out of the store. I asked the cashier his name as I left...he said Jimmy Harris with a snotty attitude. I called the corporate office as I walked out the door. Multiple customers left behind me! This employee should be terminated!!!

We give them three stars .only because although most of the people who work there .are very nice .and justice is wonderful .but there a elderly man there named Dale .whos very obnoxious .and we dont know why .were not trying to judge him .but we are always nice to him .but he is sarcastic to us.maybe he should retire.. theres no need of him being that way to us .and we give this store a lot of our business .. however there prices are good ..its nice to a place to shop at besides Wal-Mart.

Everything was fine until I saw one cashier telling a customer about another customer which was rude to say the least because before that I actually saw the same cashier arguing with the customer that she was telling the other customer about... That was rude of the cashier to act that way... What ever happened to Customer Service? If I were her boss I would have fired her on the spot..... Bad impression experience at Save a lot

I love the save-a-lot on Massachusetts&Congress. They are a very friendly group of people that work there ! And is always very well stocked!
