Its a well maintained smallish grocery store. I am impressed with the fresh produce, fruits and vegetables! So nice to see actual stock!Very good selection of meats. Seems to be geared to hispanic and possibly Middle Eastern fare. Cow heart, beef tongue, and of course all the regular stuff.Tortillas are fresh, lot of spices and salsas to choose from.Lot of wines, some beer, good prices on liquor.I like it!

The deli counter is always a good, cheap breakfast or lunch. A decent liquor selection and a beer cave. A large and well stocked produce department. The meat department has the freshest Oaxaca cheese Ive had in years.

Great variety. This was my first time in this store. I find it very similar to a international store. Ive been to several international markets in various states. Fresh produce, goat meat, baked goods (cakes and pies) in a full service bakery. Theres also a food bar with hot prepared food. Im impressed. Very clean.

The is a gem of a market with fresh fruit and vegetables on par with Whole Foods. This store also offers a wonderful selects of Mediterranean foods selection that is cooked daily. Staff is wonderful and delighted to assist .

Small and simple grocery store. Reminds me of some of the Hispanic markets back in California. The staff is very friendly every single time we pop in for a few things. Havent tried the bakery yet, but the cakes always look beautiful and very fresh.

Big Easy Fresh Market has an array of worldwide of fresh produce, especially produce that is mainly used in Latin cooking. This is excellent for exposure of varying produce and cultural recipes.There is a cool spirit selection here as well with reasonable prices. In addition to a hot food bar where that is safely fixed by the staff with viewing of the preparation, a deli, and a pastry section where you are able to see the building of their cakes.Sadly, one day after eating from the hot section, I got sick. From the looks of the hot food later in the day, you can tell some items have been sitting there for over 5 hours, which isnt good.The staff is cordial and patient as well.I visit Big Easy Fresh Market each month and do recommend it.

Tapatio, Jarritos, red jalapenos: the trifecta.There is a fantastic produce section and a variety of Hispanic products I havent seen anywhere else. Its a long, bumpy bus ride for me to get there but its well worth the trip.

Our favorite grocery store, I wish we could get one on north shore. My wife being from Mexico, she loves this place. She finds everything she needs. Fruits and vegetables are always fresh and in good order. Store it’s self if always clean, great selection of products.

This store is very clean and well stocked. The food in the deli looks and smell delicious.

Mostly Latin influence and great hot food line. And very friendly people. And, they have Honduran cokes, real Coca Cola.

Food was good freshly made but think they need to hire an actual mexican consultant to open the menu to include authentic mexican dishes like burritos which are popular for to go orders because they are easy to eat.

Good place to get fresh local groceries. Would love if they could add palm oil and label some of their product well. Also reducing prices of some staples to be competitive against the large retail establishment like Wal-Mart and Rouses will not be bad. They are worth the trouble though.

Such a pleasant surprise and addition to Mid City. The produce section is honestly one of the best in the city and something we really needed in Orleans parish.

The freshest fruits and vegetables. A large selection of spices and specialty items. Also a good place to grab a bite, they offer a lot of hot dishes. Sweet tooth? They got you covered with a bakery and ice cream shop.

Its on the corner of Canal and N/S Broad, I think it was a drug store at one time. I was amazed at how they were able to have fresh fruits and vegetables in such a manner that made that I wish I had more time to do some grocery shopping

New super market on Broad and canal. Has a great hot bar and icecream/ slush puppies stand for getting lunch. Great produce selection. Its new so it doesnt have everything. I went in looking for unsalted butter and they only have salted butter. Great fried chicken and friendly staff. Definitely good for a quick stop.

The selection of produce is insane, all very fresh, clean, and super organized. The meats section as well had so many different cuts of everything. Aside from having a wide variety of products in general, the store seemed to have a good selection of essential Latinx and Arab food products as well. We were also impressed by the wine selection and the hot food bar for carry out! Can’t wait to go back and try that out! Prices were in a comfortable range, not the lowest but not nearly as high as in some bigger supermarkets. Definitely recommend everyone in the area check them out!

I have never even physically been into this store I have only witness its beauty via facetime when talking to my best friend, but I lie to you not this is the most organized store I have ever witness in all my life of living! Its incredible! And I am soooooo impressed! Everything is so clean you can tell they take the task of being well rounded and presentable to a whole new level. The variety and vibrant colors makes for such a welcoming aspect once you enter. The prices are great as well. First time at BEFM. Really beautiful and well stocked with so many ingredients for different cultural dishes. I am quite impressed.However improvements in my opinion is better price communication at the counters of the hot food and bakery.etc. its a little inconvenient to ask so many price questions about food-(how much is this or that? How much for a hot plate? Etc.) So pricing labels would help. Probably wont be back since I like know how much Im paying before I get to the register.

First, it is very conveniently located at canal st. It is very clean, very organized, with a big variety of fresh items ranging between veggies, fruits, coconut drinks, along with may others and the hot bar which is above and beyond.I loved finding fresh parsley, and other products as Turkish delights that are usually hard for me to find around.It is reasonably priced, the products quality are excellent and the staff are super helpful and friendly.From the hot bar I would recommend trying the lamb shops and the spiced grilled red chicken, they were AMAZING, (if you happen to be on the street car stop by and try them out!)From the bakery we tried tres lech cake, flane, rice budding and they all tasted great.Highly recommend this market and its our new favorite for groceries and to go lunch or dinner.
