The store was nice and clean. I was greeted when I walked in. The shelves were empty as though they had been shopped hard, employees were replenishing the shelves as I was shopping; there were carts of stock everywhere. Checkout was quick and easy, the cashier was friendly and conversational.

Crazyyyyy. Im from Maryland went into store and was told I couldnt carry my purse in there..i was informed to turn in my purse and carry my wallet..i said hell to the naw. I took my purse back to my car/family. I then went into the store and grab my few items for my flight. While in the line a cashier came out of nowhere and started spraying air freshener around us customers saying ohhh No I cant do this . We just looked at her as she was smelling herself because I honestly didnt smell anything. All the 5 customers in front of me agreed with me. I just felt so unappreciated in that store. Maybe someone need to inform them that without customers they wouldnt be working.

Cashier accused me of stealing and I didnt even steal nothing I was searched and they didnt find nothing cashier had a bad attitude too

It was clean and they was stocking up on things it was very good in their I would not mind going back to them.

Most of the time, its a good place to shop. Some of the workers have nasty attitudes, some go out of their way to make customers feel like they got good service. Looks like a Warehouse Sale inside on a constant basis, so youll need extra time finding some items. Typical New Orleans dollar store in other words.

Two older men pulled knives on each other and made a scene. Staff didnt even tell them to leave, didnt call the cops, their security just stood there, didnt tell them to leave either. All right up front at the register. Not expecting staff to jump in, just tell them you are calling the cops. This went on for 10 minutes while I stood in line.

I like the way you can get what you want if its available 😊 . Appreciate the fact that its working distance, and that you are merger together. I shop there too. Just learning how to use the phone, so disregard the stars rating. I messed up with that 😂🤗.

Great for a quick, stick & move caper. Cant say this is my favorite location, but its not the worst one either.Normally, you can find what you need & keep moving. A wide variety of items & product filled aisles make for shopping all the easier.Never a dull moment here. Always shenanigans taking place; nothing harmful, but always interesting.

This is the most ghetto establishment I’ve been to in New Orleans. I came to buy an eco friendly bag because I’m on my way to the airport. I didn’t receive a hello but “you have to leave your bag in the front”. I’m not sure what crack is she smoking to think I’m going to leave my valuables in the front of the store.

Because theres Other things you can buy from there.

I visit several Family Dollars. But they all do not have the beef retriever sticks. They come 2 per pack for a dollar. Our dog is happy.

Nice location for me seeing that I take the bus home from work at broad and canal. Some staff members r nice especially their manager Darrel, whos just a people person. Dont like the fact that u have 2 leave oversized bags like a book sack at the front where theres no shelf and no one is watching your bags. Thats crazy 2 me.

The family Dollar for when youve just given up. They have ceiling tiles missing from when the roof or the a/c leaks and there is always trash out front. The turn over with staff is amazing, I dont know if I have ever seen someone working there longer then a few months. When you do have to interact with the staff they are either openly hostile because you are bothering them or grudgingly dismissive. The only good thing is the taco truck that parks on Broad St out front.

Cool store although some of the employees are rude in the night shift and they need to work on how they stick the inventory. Sometimes things look all over the place. Its convenient so thats a plus.

Quick location to get a much needed item. Oh did i not say location gets this spot four stars. But its packed, cluttered and a great atmosphere for you see some theft or arguing and a occasional drug deal or usage. But its location so there you have itJtwitty5

It was horrible. The manager closed his line down to get someone else to open up the line and she refused to come and check out customers because customers were upset. So there were customers just walking out dropping their things on the floor slamming them on the shelves and literally walking out. I stood in line for 12 minutes after I got fed up and walked out myself. Horrible experience all the way around just horrible.

The store is well stocked for its location. About as good customer service as can be expected.

My experience was fair. The grounds of the store was filthy. Trash literally outline the storefront. Associates were dressed in plain clothes, so I couldnt tell who was working or who were customers. Store was very unorganized and there were no bags. Associates were friendly.

Love how much more stuff they havebeen coming here for 8 years each year gets better. It can get hectic in there but overall its my favorite Family Dollar

Close to downtown.... But..... Messy.... Cashiers all seem soooo rude....and store packed together so close it was hard to move around and boxes in walkways that no one was putting away....

The store is relatively large and has a wide selection. Please note that you will not be allowed to shop unless you leave your backpack at the entrance as it is prohibited to bring your backpack. There was a bus stop and a light rail station in front of me, so it was convenient to move during the trip.
