The head female pharmacist that was working this morning (10/22/2019 @10:30am) is the nicest person I think I’ve ever dealt with at any pharmacy here in New Orleans. I had a huge dilemma today where I couldn’t find my prescription at ANY pharmacy in all of New Orleans. After calling over 50 places and visiting 15 I came here and even though I didn’t end up filling it here she was so nice and helpful even though I was an emotional wreck because I was supposed to be leaving for Port Moody, Canada today at 2pm and was going to be gone for 9 days therefore could not fill my script up there or wait a few days until I was able to fill it here at Walmart and I was literally losing my mind because I didn’t know what to do and it is a medicine that I have been on for 10+ years and obviously not a medication that I can go without. And I was lucky enough to find a pharmacy in Covington that had it in stock although I did have to change my flight to tomorrow morning in order to get it filled but she was the one who told me that most pharmacies will say they don’t have the medicine over the phone even if they do so I decided to make the trip up to Covington since a different pharmacy told me they usually have a large stock of it and they did tell me on the phone they were out but I took her advice and went anyway and sure enough they had it! So without her telling me that they were probably lying to me I may have had to cancel my trip altogether and had an even bigger freak out because I would have missed seeing my family for the first time during the holidays in 5 years and I’d have probably lost my mind if I had to deal with one more person being super rude to me about it. But I just want to thank this woman for helping me calm down and talking to me like a real human being and actually having compassion and understanding for what I was going through because every single other place treated me the exact opposite and I really needed that. So thank you 1000x!

I must say after several experiences between this Pharmacy and another local BigBox Pharmacy, Walmart wins hands down. The staff is friendly, helpful, and thorough. Plus, the prices are great. I only wish the over the counter med section were more organized and less a part of the rest of the store.

This Walmart is by far the worst store I have ever been to. Every person I asked for help was extremely rude, like I was bothering them. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!

Horrible.....they never have your prescriptions in stock which really sucks if it’s Friday afternoon and your medication happens to be a controlled substance then you are out of luck till Monday. So basically,They drop the ball and your the one who has to pay the price....run.....to another pharmacy !

Its a walmart, bathroom is nasty, plenty employees, busy laughing and joking so at least there in a good mood right. Smells of urine.

Typical pharmacy. I dont have any complaints. :-)

Cheap prescriptions but HORRIBLE customer service. Ill never go back. Would be zero stars if I could.
