They offer a wide variety of food vendors and also have a bar you can relax and eat at in the middle!Great place to stop if youre strolling through the area for a quick refreshment.I personally love the market deli. They have great hot sandwiches, refreshing salads and toasts for a light snack. If you plan on drinking at the bar they also offer lovely charcuterie plates.
What a great food hall!Grab a “salty iguana” cocktail from the bar - it’s delicious and one of the best cocktails I have ever had. I liked it so much, I had 3.Try the bbq shrimp and grits from Elysian. So good and definitely hits the spot. Their crab cakes is superb too! Honest we didn’t have anything from their menu that we didn’t like .Overall such a great experience, wonderful service and fun spot to hang out.
Very cute little indoor food court. Looks like some of the stalls didnt make it through the pandemic, but a few are left, including Trippy Tacos, which was delicious. A central bar looked nice, but didnt partake of it.
Good food, minimal selections. Could use a bit more variety, but the atmosphere was pretty cool. It does look like there are open spots for others to set up shop, there. But if I was in the area, I would definately stop in again.
Such an amazing place! Had drinks at the bar with my wife and WOW this place is amazing! Staff is so friendly and just was delightful to talk to! Drinks are so top shelf, the aviation is so good ask for the cherries!!Aliah and Erik are amazing! Cannot recommend them enough! They even took the time to make some drinks that weren’t on the menu and seriously such a great atmosphere!!
This was a cute find. I didnt expect it to be so laid back for my first time (wish I took more pictures). But my friend and I got there later than we intended so we didnt see all the shops, but the ones that were there we clutch the coffee shop was good. The bar in the center was clever. Im gonna go again when there are more shops. But a good laid back spot to hang out with friends and chat or do homework
The atmosphere is adorable & most of the food is good too! The bussers and vendors are very friendly. Unfortunately, the bartender on shift gave us the worst service. She ignored us almost the entire time despite being the only people at the bar & would roll her eyes and cross her arms every time we asked for another drink or recommendation. Im honestly offended by her attitude and will skip drinks next time Im there. Give those bussers a raise!!
Was here on 6/26/2021, a Saturday at noon. This is an awesome food court with a great vibe. We were a group of three, and each got food from a different stall. Had some naan, sushi, and raw oysters. All were great. Good seating at tables and couches. The bar is dead center in the room, but we were only drinking canned sodas from the stalls. Absolutely great vibe and great food. Price in line with experience. Will go again if visiting the warehouse district.
Tried some delicious sushi rolls and ramen. Everything was fantastic.
Auction House Market is an upscale and delightful food hall with a bar.Pricey and diverse selection of food vendors. The bar does have Happy Hour if you are seeking an after work beverage. From the bar, MayHaw, I purchased a margarita and a French 75. Both beverages were ok.I purchased food from two vendors here, Tava and Elysian Seafood, and will post the reviews on their pages. Also, the bathroom here is a work of art with walls filled with painted red and pink lips.Auction House is extremely clean, well lit, and inviting.I do recommend Auction House and I will return.
They have avariety of mini restauraunts here where you can order sushi, cajun/creole, smothies, latin/hispanic food and some others. Alcohol is also sold here. The poke bowl loosa awesome with octopus and albacore. The crab cake is different with corn and potatoe. I purchased a green and lean smoothie aswell. A number of different choices here
Quaint little spot with good bites and coffee. Right across the street from Peche. Youd miss it if you dont know it!
If you cant find something you love at any of the wonderful and unique restaurants at this food market you are crazy. My husband and I had a wonderful lunch trying a plethora of the delicious dishes available. You cant go wrong with the empanadas. The service was very speedy, and the atmosphere and decor are light and airy. Made for a great Sunday afternoon of tasty treats.
Walked a mile and a half specifically for this place. Online it says it’s open. Get there and the door is locked, no sign saying what going on. I call them and the answering machine states regular hours of operation which includes now. Very disappointing.
Wow. So many options from all the different vendors. I went to HappyJaxx and got the lime roast bowl with sweet potato. Just so, so good. Yummy macaroons from Mac+Moon, cute bathroom, and friend was very happy with her meatball sub. Ambient atmosphere with tons of seating. Will be a repeat customer. xx
We headed to Auction House because it was within walking distance from The Roosevelt and we heard they have a great happy hour at Elysian for Oysters. This place has about 6 different vendors surrounding a bar. During Happy Hour they have a nice selection of wines, beers and cocktail on discount. It’s a nice place if you can decide just one type of cuisine and want to order something from each. That’s exactly what we did. The Thai soup with a chicken drumstick was the star but the oyster Rockefeller and marinated crab claws were a close second. They have an empanada vendor, an Indian street food option, ice cream and coffee and much more - all set up in a comfortable open space with bar, couch and small table seating.
My wife and I ate here on June 14th on a whim while walking around the art district and we were blown away. The entire concept is super cool and something we wish could come to where were from. We enjoyed Oysters, Crab Cake sandwiches and a Sushi roll all of which tasted amazing and well worth the price. If we ever come back to New Orleans we will be sure to stop by again, and wed absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Good selection. The noodle section ran out of the popular noodles which was a bummer. On a Friday night! The place is clean and bright.
Just a Simple dish, has potential if it had additionalingredients. Just basic shrimp Garlic Noodles.
One of my new favorite places to eat lunch in New Orleans! The space is really well-designed. It is open space utilizes natural light and lots of plants. Their are multiple food vendors that provide an eclectic mix of did that fit naturally into a New Orleans motif. The service was good, the food had been good. Their is a big bar in the middle of the space that is well-stocked. The staff is friendly as well!
Hands down easily the best place for raw oysters. Just absolutely delicious!!! Guy shucking oysters was entertaining, giving story on where the oysters came from, why they would be extra sweet this time of year, etc. Really worth trying out!! The Indian food in crepes were ok, but not particularly memorable.
Tried several different restaurants, wish they offered some smaller sample size portions because honestly I didnt like anything. I wont name places because I know they rotate the restaurants & next time they wont be the same ones. Loved the inside decor & a bar right in middle was what honestly lured me in the first place.
Small selection but still really good. Especially the cappuccino
We went to the auction house food market just before noon on Sunday and were pleased to beat the crowd. It feels very upscale inside and is a really trendy atmosphere. The food options were all tempting, and there were items in every price range. The gumbo from the seafood place was decent (the oysters and shrimp in the gumbo were cooked to perfection,) the empanadas were alright, and the cheese dosa was delicious!! Such a fun place to go, especially with a group because there is something for everyone!
Great staff, cool, and great environment just to sit and read! Thank you Auction House Market for an experience and environment that was so inviting and friendly!
Unique setup with cool decorations and tasty food. I wish more cities had this.
It is a beautiful jungle in the city and a place to be lost in the magic of nature. An Instagram friendly food court with about 100s of specimen plants growing across the market! The market has lovely interiors and nice lighting. Lots of seating from comfortable couches, orange bar stools, granite dining tops, to cozy corners. We were there twice, once only to take pictures and the second time to eat. We ate at the Tava (just okay) and Empanola (good). I was here for a thai place which apparently got taken over by other vendors. Be sure to check their website for the vendor list before hand. I would recommend anyone to stop by irrespective. We loved the ambience here. The vibe is very romantic and fun. A very nice location to hangout with friends or loved ones.We will definitely be back!
Very good service! Amazing Indian food and breakfast burritos. The atmosphere is amazing and the decorations make it very enjoyable!
Super fun and delicious spot. The side room for special events is so cute and filled with amazing plants. The main room has so many choices and is styled really well. The ladies room has amazing wall paper! Highly recommended! I really enjoyed the Indian food and my friends raved about the empanadas and the sushi! Well done!
Atmosphere was fantastic. Nice selection of food options. Easy to navigate for vegan options.
This is a unique food hall with a bunch of talented chefs providing options of multiple cuisines. We tried the Tava Indian Street food and it was mind blowing. Went back three times during our four day stay in NOLA. The masala dosa and gun powder dosa are excellent! And so is the chicken tikka masala (nothing like any other Indian restaurants in the USA).
Progressive food court with several options and full bar. The Asian food spot was very fresh with generous portions.
A good variety! Some shops close a little early, so be sure you know whats open before you go. Tasty drinks!
Accidentally stumbled upon this.. great food, beautiful people and music. Not sure if they have live performance of this caliber all the time, but this was very good.
Normally not bad. But this visit the Mexican spot was very rude. And long with the order, even taking into account the large amount of people there, and it was my mothers first time here and has decided she wouldnt not return and I cant say that I blame her. This experience does make me rethink this place.
This is not well known but should be. I love the Sushi most.
Nice place, lots of food options. Would definitely go again...
The price can be a little more generous for this kind of food but it tastes good. The noodles were slightly overcooked but they werent bad.
Yummmmm and so beautiful. So much variety food wise. Atmosphere was amazing. However the associate at the Mexican Restaurant was very rude. The worker there was terrible and unprofessional.
Pictures do not do this place justice. It is probably the coolest experience I had the entire trip. There are about 7 restaurants to choose from and the dining area is so bright and clean. It wasnt insanely priced either. I think that between food and alcohol, my husband and I only spent about $15 a piece. I got the empanadas and he got some kind of shrimp andouille po boy I think.
Good selection of options for a variety of food tastes. Most options are lighter which makes it a better place for lunch than dinner. The Poke booth was amazing. Great atmosphere. Love the central bar area.
Nice place for drinks, food is okay, mostly sushi. Love the atmosphere.
Very cool spot and a neat concept. The food hall is awesome with plenty of great food options to choose from. A little bit of everything for everyone or the flavor of the day. Got lunch from Long Chim Thai Street Food today and had the green curry. Flavors were out of this world so so good. The best part about it is the fact that these spots pump out great quality food at a fast pace so that you arent having to sit down and wait for your food for 20 minutes. Perfect spot for a quick bite to eat during the work day or order to go. Definitely recommend checking it out!!
Went to eat on 4th of July weekend. There was nothing worth tasting there. Tried one vendor and the food was terrible and not fresh . Also the bar is nice but drinks tasted bad and overpriced.
This is an incredible find. Over ten different eateries in a common space with good lighting and acoustics! Wonderful international good choices!!The Indian place with the Dosa is off the hook!! I got the Chaat Sliders and Paneer Dosa. They flavors were incredibly on point with the fermented yeast if the pancake prominent enough to enhance the incredible flavor of the yogurt and spices in the potatoes. The Chaat had the right amount of sweet from the pomegranates and a fantastic light finish. The empanadas (especially the Argentinian Chicken) had fantastic flavor in a dough that was properly cooked without any burned or turned butter after taste so prevelant in cheap empanada. The beef bourginon was rosemary forward with a tiny amount of fennel as an offset. The Crawfish was good, but needed more crawfish. The Panciy at Flipinola was incredible. Carrots in the vinegar brine set off the flavor of the chicken and the rice noodles were a lovely Al dente.Nice pour of wine from MayhawThen a Carmel creamy Mocha latte from Coast Roast. A well pulled set of shots with a balance of flavor that was buttery and smoothly finished on the palette. Coffee was not bitter at all and had prominent notes of vanilla and clove. Worth another cup soon!Lastly, I decided to stuff myself stupid with a dessert creation from Mac & Moon. Mind you, this is all vegan and gluten free. I picked a Neopolitan Macron that was a lovely crisp shell with the right amount of give inside, flavors that each stood on their own and didnt drown the other, including the vanilla. The rolled ice cream (coconut base with almond creamer) was done with fresh strawberries, pieces of chocolate cookie, and a little fudge sauced. Then tossed, diced, rolled and scraped until it becomes its own special creation. The flavor was BAM! Fresh, light, and no idea it was dairy free. Such an awesome dessert. Do NOT miss this!!I wish I had room for more, but I had to walk this off with a major walk. This is an experience very deserving of your time in NoLa.
Good coffee and I love the lively vibes
Vegan options! Cool vibe!
They had a wide variety of foods. I had oysters and the dumplings and thai tea at the thai street market. Amazing!
My review is specifically for Long Chim Nola which is the new Thai Place inside the food hall. May and Kirk are incredibly warm and welcoming much like Thai food. I’ve visited them twice and tried two different dishes and both were excellent and affordable and spicy. I recommend the Green Curry with Chicken and Pumpkin as well as the Khao Soi Chicken noodle soup!
Very cool concept for multiple tasty food options under one roof. Food was on point Ill let my picture do the justice
Really good food. Super clean restrooms.
Excellent Service from Aleksi and Taylor. Love this establishment.
Great atmosphere and food the bartender is absolutely amazing!
Great spot for lunch! I appreciated the variety of food options, open seating area, and staff kept the place clean and running smoothly.
Amazing atmosphere. Great selection of food. Everything is made fresh. Customer service was on point.
Great food for the price.
Great space with many different food options.
Best breakfast we’ve had the entire time we’ve been visiting! Great staff, clean and quiet atmosphere. Just lovely!
Pretty good, havent tried everything, but what I did was good
This place is awesome! You want Asian food? They got it. You want Mexican food? They got it. You want cookies? They got it. Their is even a bar there!
The food at Elysian was DELICIOUS! The chargrilled oyster and coconut curry were stand outs. We also had some incredible dumplings from Long Chic1. The frozen negroni-style drink at the bar was tasty, too. I’d definitely come back!
A bit busy and crowded, limited menu selections, but good food and friendly service.
I got the potato masala dosa from Tava and it was amazing!!! Soooooo good and the best food I ate while visiting New Orleans. Also great service and food was made fresh and came very fast!
Excellent atmosphere with many gourmet dishes offered by a variety of small restaurants. They have an nice bar in the center with quick and friendly service. We have had great lunches as well as dinners.
The food was very bland and overpriced for the portion. We stopped by Asian licious noodle house. Do not recommend.
Beautiful decor and amazing food.
Fun place. Good cocktails.
Had some oysters and a Brussels Sprouts salad. Yum!
Great selection of food and drinks. Kinda pricey, but it makes sense for the CBD location. Perfect location for a large group with lots of different tastes.
The ambience at this place is like no other. I had empanadas from empanola that were really good. Even my picky eater niece enjoyed her ham and cheese empanada. The Thai rolled ice cream sandwich from mac and moon was unique and tasty. Ive gotta go back without kids to hit up the bar.
Every single food stand is outstanding. High class food venue.
The atmosphere is amazing. The food choices are very diverse. The macarons at Mac & Moon are delicious with so many different flavors!
